A truly awesome experience guided by Jaime. If you are travelling solo or in a group and enjoy nature, you'll love this! Jaime is a fantastic driver and you can really tell that he does this because he enjoys it. Super knowledgeable about the area down to the the flora and fauna. The back roads were super fun and packed with some pretty sweet views. Would definitely recommend this experience.

Jaime is wonderful and it is a great way to see the Sierra Nevada without hiking. We went in December and experienced bright sun at the bottom and heavy snow by the time we reached the top! It was great to experience so much variety in one trip. Jaime was a great guide and very caring to his guests!

This was a wonderful day with Daud as our guide. He is very informative about the history of the area, the flora and fauna, geology, and how economy has affected the area over time. He is a very safe driver and the van comfortable. He speaks English very well. He is patient and very pleasant. The stops are just right with some short hikes to beautiful, picturesque spots. He is mindful of people’s ability and helpful when exiting the van if necessary. The stop for lunch is at a ski resort (at least it was for us) with plenty of nice options to choose from. I was on the fence until the last minute on whether or not to book this. I am really glad I did.

Terrific experience seeing the spectacular Sierra Nevada's from a local guide who knows the area really well. We received lots of information about the flora and fauna. Took us up 3000 m to a very local inn that is a getaway for the university. Had a lovely home-cooked meal in the dining room and then a walk around the summit of this particular part of the mountain. We were near the high altitude training grounds and learned a bit about that too. Highly recommend.

Day trip into the mountains with several stops & mini-hikes. Be prepared for weather changes, as the temperature drops & wind rises as you climb to the highest elevation. Amazing views with detailed information about the flora & fauna & geography of the region. Daud was an excellent guide.

A wonderful experience to get out of the city into the mountains. Our tool guide (vulture his nickname) was so knowledgeable in everything to do with the country - the history, the nature etc. We would highly recommend this trip.

Take this tour! This was one of our favorite experiences during our two weeks in Spain. It’s worth taking a day away from being in Granada for this 7-hour excursion (8:30-15:30) where you have multiple stops to see beautiful views and be immersed in nature. We appreciated the stops to see different aspects of the area and enjoyed the varying temps at different altitudes. We highly recommend layers as it gets increasing colder the higher you go, even on a sunny day. The group size was perfect with 8 plus our guide, Daud. We were in a Mercedes sprinter van, which handled the off-the-beaten path roads very well. Daud drove slowly and carefully on the gravel mountain roads and even though there were some narrow spots, this was not off-roading or dangerous. We did some short walks to get to a few views and the last hike was about 15 minutes of steep hiking, but was optional since it was at the restaurant we stopped at for lunch. Daud was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. We learned about plants, animals, and geology throughout the tour. He was very conversational and made a full day fun and energizing. We highly recommend this tour.

Escape the city and explore the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mtns. Our guide Daud had excellent local knowledge and kept us informed along the way. A scenic drive to the top of the mountain. We were lucky as we had a blue bird day... spectacular scenery. A few short walks, a coffee stop, lunch break. A lovely group of tourists who bonded nicely over the day. Definitely recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience. 4x4 to the top of the mountain with a very knowledgeable guide. He told us all about the plants, animals and geology of the area. We got to the top in time for the sunset which was fab. You might need a jumper or a coat for the very top!

Jaime is a really friendly tour guide, who told us everything about the surroundings and geology. The tour is composed of approx. 6-7 stops, with an hour free time in the end.

Fabulous trip up into the mountains overlooking Granada . Short walks to stunning viewpoints and our driver had so much information on geology, flora and fauna and life in the mountains both past and present. Lovely to able to access these off the beaten tracks… a great break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This was a great way to get out of the city and into a more tranquil setting. There’s some hiking but you’re in the car mostly. The ride is still nice, going off the main road. The guide Daud was informative and had a good personality and he was a good driver as well. The views were spectacular most were 360 panoramic. I did the morning trip which was cool to see the sunrise over the mountains.. I wish I could have stayed to do the sunset trip! Next time!

It was a great tour that took you to get a different view of the Granada area. The mountain air so clean and fresh. It was a nice way to get away from the heat of the city and learn about other aspects of the culture of the area.

This is a must do tour. We spent the day in the Sierra Navada exploring mountain tops, seeing sheep herders with their flock. Had an amazing lunch at the top at 8000 ft. Daud our guide was amazing, knew so much about the mountains, the vegetation and the best views. These views were breathtaking. If you want a day trip that really helps you relax from the hustle of your vacation through Spain, this did that for us.

This was such a special tour. Jaime took us off road through the Sierra Nevada. Within 20 mins of leaving Granada you’re seeing beautiful views and Jaime teaches you about the land. He’s extremely curious about plants and herbs so points out all sorts of interesting vegetation you might otherwise miss. He takes you to beautiful stops all along the way and the 4x4 van has exceptional panoramic windows so you never miss a beat. You drive into areas where you literally see no one else but goats!! The pictures cannot do justice to what we saw. It was awe inspiring and relaxing. The sunset tour is far superior to the day tour as you get to see all the colours in the sky and the clouds make for beautiful shades of colour. I highly recommend this tour. Jaime brings such heart to the whole experience given his passion for nature and the land. Don’t hesitate to book it if you are a nature lover!! Thanks, Jaime, for such a wonderful experience and memories in Granada.
