The walk from the meeting point is not for the faint of heart. The view and gardens are beautiful, but the history was a bit boring.

The Alhambra is an amazing place and is visited by 1000s daily. Skip the queue is a must. Not only are you pre booked but having a guide and been able to skip the queues is much easier.

While the guide was very knowledgeable, two issues impacted the tour. First, there were 27 guests in our group. This was not a small group tour as advertised. It appeared that several guests were added last minute. That might not have been a problem except for the 2nd issue. The headsets and microphone used by the tour operator were absolute junk. No one could hear the guide as the system kept putting in and out, with a lot of static. Multiple equipment changes by the guide did nothing to resolve the issue and most of us ended up just turning the devices off. So we were reduced to trying to hear the guide in a very noisy environment with a large group. I missed most of the commentary.

Good quality guide ( Sandra ) Good format with a comfort break and occasions to look on your own.
English speaking Spanish guide spoke little too quick and personally found her difficult to understand due to accent.

Crazy guide lady, main palace was skipped, only details given were about soldier barracks. Wery poor preparation. Title is missleading, the main royal palace was skipped. Shame on you Viatour for booking with this tour opperator.

It was a very interesting and informative tour of 3 hours. Our guide Sandra was very knowledgeable and could address all our questions. Though the tour was pricey but we consider it worthwhile. Highly recommended. We were also sold a Fleminco show by the company which was quite average. I would recommend to do your own research and find a better less costly show.

Lots of walking up so wear good shoes. Some steep streets and uneven cobble stones. Give yourself time to get to meeting location.

I couldn't get a guided tour experience of Alhambra because I was late to the meeting point and there was no reply from the organizer either to my WhatsApp messages or phone calls. The day we planned this activity at 3pm was the day when we landed in Seville airport. The arrival was late and renting the car was a long process. Also, it was raining and the road was very busy. So, during our drive to Granada I've sent a WhatsApp message saying that we are coming directly to Alhambra with a delay of few minutes. But no one replied. In the Alhambra entrance we couldn't find any help and there was no reply to our regular or WhatsApp calls. On 3:30pm finally the WhatsApp message come, and we were happy expecting the interactive and fast response. Instead, we were asked to complete a document online to send us the tickets. We sent it, but they couldn't get it a request to fulfil the same document. At that time was almost 4pm, and we gave up of the chance to have our guided tour.

This is really a tour of The Alhambra with good chance of listening historical stories of this landmark attraction. Tour guide Anna is a knowledgeable person. Thanks to her who makes this tour a meaningful one for me and my family.

We were traveling to Granada from Seville and ran into travel problems. We were delayed arriving there. When we went to information at the Alhambra we were told to reach out to the guide and maybe meet up at the property to get our tickets. The response I got was to meet at the meeting spot and this was the only way to get the tickets, but the meeting time had passed. So for an expense for 3 people we paid over $210 to walk around the free parts- outside the structure. I am very disappointed that there was no other solution, realizing that we were late arriving. I have used Viator before on other trips but my family is not likely to use them again.

Sandra was personable and informative. She answered all questions and had a delightful personality. She added warmth and enthusiasm to her tour. My only note for improvement would be that when we entered buildings our listening devices cut out so we could not hear her unless we were very close. My request would be that she would save all commentary for when we are gathered as a group or at least repeat what she said while walking.

Although I’ve toured the Alhambra and Generalife before, it is always a treat to visit this historic and beautiful UNESCO site. Our tour guide was one of the best bringing a wealth of historic and cultural information with her interest in helping us learn while having fun. Maria is an exceptional tour guide. Don’t visit Granada without doing this tour! It’s fabulous!

Really good tour of the Alhambra and Genralife. Tour guide Anna was really good and knowledgeable. Tour took around 3.5 hours. Seeing inside the Alhambra are separate, and as numbers are limited to protect the building, and advance booking is recommended. Think that would have been too much on top of the main tour anyway.

Amazing architecture and history. I tried to schedule my tour on the website and it said it was sold out for the day we would be there. I scheduled it through this app and had a great tour guide named Sandra and we had an amazing experience.

I paid for this tour about two weeks before going on the tour. I got tickets on my phone. During the process of booking, I was excited to be able to see the Alhambra inside the complex. After booking, I noticed something I had not seen before because I looked into a VIEW DETAILS tab that was not there before booking. It said I would be passing by the Alhambra. I called the number to get help and was told I could not cancel or get a refund, but I would be seeing 90% of it. I was not happy and definitely felt like it was false advertising. The day of the tour arrived. I had been given an address to go to.We arrived at the address and found no office or guide and nowhere to park. Because we could not find parking, I got out and searched the area. I found NOTHING. At this point, after looking at the ticket and finding no contact number, we went to Alhambra hoping to find our group. I texted the tour company with no response. One hour later, I got a response that I should come to the office to pick up the tickets. The responder said we had missed the tour. Since I was already at Alhambra, I showed the ticket to the entrance people and they said it was not a ticket at all. I was totally scammed. The Alhambra let us into the free area with our passports and I was not able to see ANYTHING else. I am requesting a refund. I would give this tour company and Viator ZERO rating. If you have any walking issues, take a bus or taxi to the Alhambra ticket gate. Do not attempt to walk from the Viator meeting place. It is all up hill and difficult for older people. Once we all got in our
tour guide Sandra was amazingly knowledgeable. The 4 of us loved the sights and the wonderful history lesson we had. Our tour was small, only 11 people and the Algambra wasn’t that crowded in late March. It is definitely a tour to do on a nice day, we were lucky because the day called for some rain and we just had cloud. Once the tour ended there was the ability to go back and wander on your own if you wished.
Booking with Viator was simple and the tour company that they use in Granada was quick to reply and helpful booking a flamingo show as well. If you go on one of these tours, you will not go wrong booking with this company.

We enjoyed the tour, but didn’t realize we had to walk 20 minutes uphill to the gate. Our guide walked very fast and we would’ve rather taken a taxi to the gate and met our tour guide there.
The guided tour was nice and informative. We saw lots of parts of Alahambra.
