This was a great tour! Very informative! Our guide Christina was fabulous. It was her second tour in English and she did amazing! Very clear and easy to understand. I learned so much about the Alhambra from taking this tour that I would not have learned without.

Once you are assigned to a group, it is not possible to change the language or the starting time of your tour unless Nhue Concierge staff has communicated you previously.

The tickets you will be provided with are special tickets for groups. This means they are assign to the accreditation of your tour guide and they are not valid without such accreditation. Therefore, if you get lost during the tour or you decide to leave the group, you won’t be able to enter any of the different monuments (Gardens, Alcazaba nor Nasrid Palaces). We highly recommend you to follow your tour guide during the course of your tour and not to wander around by yourself.
Please note: the Alhambra requires that all passengers provide the full name, date of birth and passport details for each participant when booking. If not provided, the Alhambra may deny access to their premises.

Alhambra - A must see experience!

Alhambra is a must see while in the Andalusia region of Spain. Our guide was very knowledgeable and thorough and explained the complex history in a way that was easily understood.

Definitely worth getting a guided tour. So much information. Lots of walking. Lots of steps. If you cant walk far this may be tough. Would not recommend when its hot. Make sure to take your passport or photo ID, its checked several times.

The tour is about three hour of walking up and down stairs/paths. The guide provides breaks when needed. His English was great and shared lots over interesting facts.

English Language Tour Alhambra, Generalife and Nasrid Palaces

This premium Alhambra tour was one of the highlights of our trip. With only six people in the group, the experience felt intimate and unrushed. The tour covered the Alhambra, the stunning Nasrid Palaces, and the Generalife gardens. Although I wish I remembered our guide’s name, he was outstanding. The tour was in English, and his ability to read and interpret the Arabic inscriptions throughout the palaces truly set this tour apart. He placed a strong and respectful emphasis on the Arabic Muslim history of the site, which gave us a much deeper understanding of its architecture, symbolism, and cultural importance. This tour was educational, meaningful, and absolutely worth booking.

The tour guide was very young, polite, and respectful, and clearly had good intentions. However, the explanations were not very engaging, and it was sometimes unclear what should be explained or how to present the information in an interesting way. I feel that with more guidance and training—such as knowing where to stop, how long to spend at each spot, and how to deliver explanations more effectively—the experience could be much improved.

This was a comprehensive visit to the Alhambra. There is a lot to see there and unfortunately, not enough time in this group tour. We had picked this for the small group - we ended up with 15 in the group, which was ok but more than we expected. We did have to wait on some guests a couple of times. The guide knew a lot, but his presentation was hard to follow. He tried to be entertaining with some jokes and speaking some Arabic from the writings on the walls. We had a 10 minute break in the middle to grab some water and a bathroom. Also, the meeting area was not described correctly in the information. For the money, it was a satisfactory way to see the area. If I were to do it again, and I had the money, I would do a private tour or a longer tour instead.

Our Alhambra and Generalife tour with Laura was outstanding. She spoke clearly, was easy to understand, and had such a fun, engaging way of explaining everything. Her energy and knowledge made the whole experience truly special. I’ve visited the Alhambra twice before with other guides, but this was my first time bringing my husband. Not only did he love it as much as I did, but even after multiple visits, I still learned and noticed new things I hadn’t before.. thanks to Laura’s exceptional guidance. The monument itself is breathtaking, but having the right guide makes all the difference. Laura’s pacing, insight, and humor turned a beautiful site into an unforgettable experience.

We are not people that like doing tours. Unfortunately I left it too late and this was my only option to see the Alhambra . It was a steep price- but in the end worth every penny. I don’t believe I would have learned as much doing a self tour or having an audio guide. Our tour guide was Lora - she was informative and paced the tour perfectly. The tour was limited to ten people- which is a really nice size group. We each had single ear headset and was able to clearly hear our tour guide. This tour gets a 5/5!

Great tour guide. 9 people in our group. Had ear piece so could hear our guide on the move around the palace. Lots of walking-glad we were there in autumn as we were told the temperature reaches 45 degrees plus in the summer months! Nastrid Palace is truly spectacular.

Showed up at 2:03pm and because of that, our tour guide left and no one of authority had a way to communicate with her so we could catch up. Unprofessional! Not a solid way to run a company.

Avoid this Tour!

Absolutely dreadful. The provider changed the meet up time the day ahead of our tour and gave a separate meeting location from the original. We were unable to contact the provider to ask which was correct. Finally, when we did connect with them just ahead of the new meeting time, they said they have no way to contact their guides and all the guides have different agendas so “they have no idea where they could be to help us meet them”. Lo and behold, we arrived at the correct meeting location 2 minutes after the adjusted time to find the guide and group had left. Both Viator and Nhue refused to refund for our troubles. The communication was horrendous from both groups. I have no idea how a tour provider like Nhue can conduct operations like they do and not have the ability to contact their guides nor have their guides make sure their group is there/speak with any missing members at the time of departure. Absolutely awful experience with both Viator and Nhue.

The headphones they gave us were first class. Made the experience so much better. Our guide knew the Alhambra extremely well She also was able to answer unrelated questions about the history and culture of Grenada. She is a true gem.
