The meeting point is the map of steel front door of the Alhambra, near box office. You can climb on foot, in the C30 or C32 bus, taxi or the tourist train. Your guide will be carrying a white umbrella with logo "Nhue" You should be in the meeting point 15 minutes before starting time.

- This is a small group tour, with 10 adult aprox
- Once you are assigned to a group, it is not possible to change the language or the starting time of your tour unless Nhue Concierge staff has communicated you previously.
- The tickets you will be provided with are special tickets for groups. This means they are assign to the accreditation of your tour guide and they are not valid without such accreditation. Therefore, if you get lost during the tour or you decide to leave the group, you won’t be able to enter any of the different monuments (Gardens, Alcazaba nor Nasrid Palaces). We highly recommend you to follow your tour guide during the course of your tour and not to wander around by yourself.
- Please note: the Alhambra requires that all passengers provide the full name, date of birth and passport details for each participant when booking. If not provided, the Alhambra may deny access to their premises.
- Travelers are required to wear personal masks and observe social distancing during the experience (1,5 mts)
- Guides will worn masks and gloves.

This was an exceptional experience, in a small group (we chose the 10-person max, and there were 7 of us) with a very knowledgeable tour guide. She is an art historian and archaeolgist herself, so she was able to answer all our questions, give us a lot of information, but not overwhelm us.
This was my third visit to the Alhambra (over 20 years!), but the first with a tour guide. I definitely recommend it over an audio guide or just a guide book.
Our only frustration initially was joining the tour. We arrived in plenty of time, but there were many tour groups starting from the same point at the Alhambra entrance, and it was difficult to identify our group and find our guide. But after that, it was perfect!

Worthwhile to go in a tour; few have knowledge to appreciate site without expertise of a guide and you could easily get lost with multiple buildings and rooms.

When I booked my experience, I received a barcodes ticket which I took to mean I had the official ticket to gain entrance into the Alhambra. This was not the case. I did not know and nowhere was I told that when I met the company representative, she would then issue me with the paper ticket to gain entrance into the Alhambra.
I did not feel it was made clear that this would happen. I did not feel that there were clear instructions of where to meet as there are number of ways into the Alhambra.
In future I think that customers should be informed of exactly where to meet up not just an address for example outside the ticket office there would be a person waiting with a white umbrella . So everyone is perfectly clear where they have to go and that they need to collect their paper ticket from that person.
However, I have to say our guide Antonio was very, very knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time explaining the history of the Alhambra. Making the information interesting and lighthearted. Ensuring everyone was engaged.

Mercedes is an excellent tour guide (English). She is very knowledgeable about Alhambra, Nasrid Palace and Granada.
Remember to bring your passport or drivers license as ID or they won’t let you in. I wish there had been a reminder sent since I booked this trip months ago. The woman at the meet up site stated that you need an ID to get in everywhere in Spain. I’ve been here for 3 weeks and it’s the first time that I was asked for ID.

Being guided through the entire Alhambra complex and learning about the history is a must! I recommend doing a morning tour if you are visiting mid-May through mid-October, as it gets VERY hot by 1pm

We missed the tour by a few minutes due to lack of being in the right place. We caught up with the tour we were supposed to be on after we decided to pay the extra for an on site private tour. So happy we did.

I can’t imagine touring the Alhambra complex without a guide. Our guide IEtana (sp?) was excellent. The pace was steady, but comfortable and we learned a ton without being overwhelmed by all of the information.
When I signed up for this tour, I thought it was restricted to about eight participants. We were lucky that our group only had 10, as apparently six others dropped out. For the price, I would have been annoyed with a larger group, but our 10 person tour worked well.

The tour was overall good. We had some trouble meeting up with our group at the beginning because the instructions said someone would be holding a white umbrella by the front doors. We assumed the umbrella would be open, but they were actually holding a closed white umbrella, so we were frantically running around trying to find our tour. Luckily, we eventually found them.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and we were able to walk the grounds and see a significant portion of Alhambra.
I would have preferred doing a self-guided tour, but it seems the tour companies purchase most of the tickets. They even gave us paperwork showing the ticket itself only cost about $30, yet the tours charge $150 or more per person, which kind of stings.

Paola was the best guide. She is very knowledgeable, kind, and charming. She is from Spain and knows so much about the culture and history yet her English is excellent. Alhambra, it goes without saying, is spectacular. I highly recommend this tour, and I highly recommend that you request Paola as your guide.

It is chaotic. Nhue need to sort out their act. Nhue changed the time of the entrance tickets just the day before, by an hour and we were on a cruise ship timetable, this could have been catastrophic. What appears to be a straightforward 10 person tour (while it is only 10 people) is actually about 5 tours of 10 people,so to get your tickets is a chaotic process. Lovely young guides obviously being overworked and underpaid are frantic trying to get everyone organised. We got another private guide and manage to extract our tickets from the representative. Most of our concerns when we tried to contact Nhue were dealt with by an AI concierge! Absolute rubbish, would never use again. The Alhmabra palaces are of course a dream with the right guide and company. Thanks to Bea of Granada Tours for all her help.

It was an amazing tour. Cristina was very knowledgeable and able to transmit her knowledge in a very captivating manner. She kept my 13 year old enaged for 3 hours so I would definitely say its a 5 star tour.
