Look for the sign "Reederei Hadynski". The ship is on the river and arrives 25 minutes prior. Other companies use our pier too, you can’t take these. Live moderation (Ger./Engl.) is only guarateed for the tour you booked. The tour starts on time. Boarding closes 5 minutes prior.

What a hidden gem of a tour this is.
From boarding the vessel to traversing the Spree onboard, this was a truly wondrous experience.
Bar onboard, table service for drinks, toilets up the back if you need them, lovely and warm - it’s got the lot.
Michael our tour guide was exceptional, genial, friendly, humorous, what a guide - 10/10 Michael.
Knowledge of the Spree, the area, the history, could not fault it, what a friendly crew.
Doing this at sunset made it all the better too.
We will be back to do this again in Summer, thanks to Michael and all the vessels staff for a cracking voyage.

This was a wonderful tour of Berlin. Our tour guide was younger and really seemed to be connected to the city. He knew so much of how the city ticks and have us some information that assisted the remainder of our trip. We learned a ton about the history of the city and saw a ton of wonderful sites. Would highly recommend.
My only criticism is that the tour is bilingual. So half of the time we just looked around as we couldn't understand what they were saying.
The tour guide was truly wonderful and engaging though.

The boat tour of Berlin is good. However, the Viator booking system is flawed -- I definitely booked a 15:30 trip, but the tickets printed out as 11:30. I had to contact Viator to fix it, which a Viator customer service representative was able to do, but it was a step I should not have had to do. The bottom line for other travelers --- check your tickets carefully after you order!

Regarding the booking time, other travelers don’t need to worry. The booking system does not change the selected departure time automatically. The most likely explanation is that you initially selected the 3:30 PM departure, but then went back during the booking process and re-entered it. In that case, the previously selected time is not saved. Instead, the system automatically defaults to the first available departure of the day (11:30 AM), and the desired departure time has to be selected again. This explains why your booking ended up showing 11:30 AM.
If this ever happens, guests can change their departure time themselves in the app up to 24 hours before the tour. Alternatively, they can contact Customer Service or reach out to us directly as the tour operator, and we’ll be happy to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Great to have a guide like Andreas and nice to buy drinks in the sun for a reasonable cost. The seating is quite comfortable and gives you a nice view. We also got to board at an earlier departure instead of waiting for our scheduled time.

The river cruise was lovely. It was informative and interesting. As the weather was really hot (33degrees) it was a great way to see the landmarks without having to walk too far in the heat. I really enjoyed the additional information about living in Berlin, not just about the buildings, e.g. % of people in Berlin who own their home, using transport services, etc. our guide Andreas was knowledgeable, funny and answered questions. Well worth doing.

It was amazing. I made a huge mistake by going to the wrong meeting point. Andreas did everything he could to make sure I didn't fell so lost and he help me out to get to the correct meeting point and got me on to the next avaiable tour.
The tour itself was very informative.

Beer on board was cold and refreshing. Everything was on time. The roof folded back in sections, so when the rain stopped, it was opened and we could get a cool breeze in the heat.
The tour guide was excellent, pointing out information that we didnt know of the areas, even though we had visited Berlin before.

Michael, the tour guide, is a delight! It’s a very relaxing ride, well organised with drinks you can order right at your seat to be delivered to you. The features along the Spree river give a nice insight into Berlin’s history, especially developments since reunification. We took this on our last day in Berlin, but it could also serve as a useful tour at the beginning of your trip, to decide which places you might choose to visit.

It is a short ride and doesn’t cover some of the more important sites like Bradenburg gate and the Reichstag.
Also the commentary is hard to follow since they stop mid sentence and switch the language from English to Deutsch and vice versa.

We are somewhat surprised by your expectation of seeing the Brandenburg Gate. The Brandenburg Gate is not located on the river and therefore cannot be seen from a boat tour. A sightseeing boat can only show landmarks that are actually situated along the waterway.
Regarding the commentary, you booked a bilingual live-guided tour (German/English). The defining feature of this tour is that it is presented in both languages. Our guides do not switch languages mid-sentence. They explain a topic in one language and then repeat it in the other. This format works well for the overwhelming majority of our guests and is clearly intended for an international audience.
We are sorry that this concept did not match your personal expectations.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide was absolutely wonderful- friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely funny. He did an excellent job keeping everyone engaged and made the entire experience both entertaining and informative.
The only thing I wish was different is that the tour had lasted longer than one hour because we were having such a great time. We also happened to have a rainy day, but that was completely out of the tour operator’s control and certainly didn’t diminish the experience.
If you’re considering this boat tour, I highly recommend it. The outstanding guide, beautiful scenery, and overall experience made it well worth it. Five stars!

Leaves on time and lasts 1 hour. Nice to see parts of the city that you wouldn't otherwise see. Guide was great with a mixture of German & English. Funny guy.

Really great boat trip. Guy on the mic (not a recording), was entertaining and knowledgable. They serve great beer on board too. It started to rain whilst on board so they slid glass roof across in seconds. It didn’t spoil view, but as rain stopped, they slid it open again.

Really fun, enjoyable river trip. Andreas, our guide was amusing & informative about the wealth of sites, stuff happening currently, & some cool insights into East Berlin & the DDR. Worth seeking out - one of the few remaining cruises with a live guide.
