Worth the extra cost

You board a modified coach which has single seats on the left and double seats on the right. As a tall individual it was wonderful not having my knees jammed into the seat in front of me. There was a counter filled with snacks, water, and other beverages. Monika, our guide, was very informative and provided us a lot of background information about King Ludwig. Overall, great tour.

Best trip ever!

The experience was better than we could have imagined. The team leading our group kept the bus stocked with drinks and snacks l day. The locations were beautiful and Alberto and our driver (Qu…can’t recall his name). We highly recommend. Alberto gave great tips and shared details all day. Be sure to have Euros with you. Shuttle bus to the castle does not accept cards, Euros only.

It is a very good tour....

It is a very good tour. Our guide Iain was so knowledgeable about the history of the camp and provided much needed insight about what was going on in the world. He was passionate about such a heavy topic that needs to be explored so that we don’t make the same mistakes in losing our humanity. We hit the highlights of the museum and were given enough personal time to process the emotions that were present just stepping past the gates. I highly recommend this tour but please don’t talk about current politics.

We enjoyed this tour very much. Both Linderhof and Neuschwanstein Castle were beautiful inside and out. The detail in the art and design are incredible (in my opinion). The gardens at Linderhof were very nice as well. Our Tour Guide was very good and gave you lots of information. It was a fun day out. Be aware that there are a lot of steps that you have to navigate, but it is worth it.

This was fantastic and informative tour talking about a difficult part of Germany's history. The tour guide Glen was amazing. He was a fellow scouser like me and had a wide array of local WW2 knowledge. He presented it eloquently and interspersed it with moments of levity but never went overboard due to the sensitive nature of the tour. A well deserved 5 stars.

Tour guide and driver were very friendly. Francesca was very knowledgeable and shared many details we found both interesting and informative. Fantastic boat tour, great price and convenient location for the start and finish staying at the Radisson. The table service for drinks was great & efficient. Michael the tour guide made the tour his narration and sharing his personal experiences of living in West Berlin during the existence of the wall added to the depth of the guided tour. 100% recommend and well worth the money.

A ‘must do’ tour!

After learning modern history at school, I really wanted to do this tour. Tom, our fabulous guide took us through the timeline of Hitler and the beginnings of his political life. Tom’s knowledge was very good and kept moving us to the various locations relevant to the parts of Hitler’s time in Munich. Just fascinating and the tour lived up to my expectations and more! Highly recommend this tour to appreciate and understand how Hitler came to power.
