We had an incredible experience booking our Husky Tour. We had transport directly from our Airbnb to the kennel - Soulmate Kennels - near the Finnish border. The driver was friendly and talkative. The kennel itself was amazing. The dogs looked healthy and the scenery - oh, my, god. Endless taiga forests covered in snow and blue sky above with sunshine peeking through. The husky slushing itself is hard work - I much preferred being in the sleigh! The transport back was flexible and the driver was willing to drop us at Santa’s Village, despite this not expressly being included in the booking. We HIGHLY recommend this tour company.

To drive a sled you need some level of upper body strength. It was really fun & visiting the kennels was a highlight with the puppies. All the adult dogs were so friendly too. Loved the experience!

Amazing experience, we went with Kami who was so friendly and informative. This tour is not like the ‘mass tourist’ husky trips you find around Rovaniemi. You will go an hour out to a farm and meet lots of beautiful husky’s taken well care of, the place was clean and the husky’s were very happy and welcoming. The 10km sled ride was excellent, self driven, you just manage the breaks and the husky’s take care of speed and direction, they all seemed happy and well cared for. Highly recommend for those looking for a meaningful sled experience.

This was the most incredible experience and the highlight of our Lapland trip. Staff were all wonderful and the huskies were clearly well loved and cared for. We even got to see the husky puppies which was very special! First, Dimitar arrived to drive us to the kennels. He was kind, polite and easy to talk to. Next we were taught how to drive the sleigh and what to do. We then had a thrilling 10km ride around the forest. It was the most amazing experience and huskies were all beautiful!

This is without doubt one of the best experiences of my life. These husky’s were born to run and they absolutely love it. Initially I was worried about their welfare and how they were treated but my mind was instantly put at ease. It was thrilling, exciting and throughly enjoyable and I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Due to severe weather conditions from the night before, we couldn’t do the activity with the original operator as planned, but luckily they managed to find us a spot on another farm. On arrival, we waited for about 30min for another group to start and finish, which I think could have been avoided, but apart from this we are greatful we still had the opportunity to participate in this activity as it’s a must do activity when in Lapland. It was an amazing experience. The dogs are very well taken care of and so friendly. Unfortunately, communication from the original activity provider was poor.

It is some distance from Rovaniemi which was unexpected but not a problem. The husky experience was great though I did not realize I would be driving the huskies myself, I expected to be a passenger. Our drivers who picked us up and returned us home were excellent. Very good driver and extremely friendly and professional

Didnt appear very organised when arrived at park. No information about dogs or activity given. Just placed on a sled and told how to brake. On return, nobody came to talk to us or offer any info they just moved on to the next group. No puppies or feeding. An hour and half drive to get to the park. Very expensive but a must do when in Finland.

We would like to clarify a few points. At the time of your visit, our puppies were only one week old, and for their safety and welfare, visits to puppies are strictly not allowed. This is a standard and responsible practice at professional husky kennels.
During the sledding activity, a guide was present throughout the experience, following the sleds and available to answer questions at any time. Guests are always welcome to ask if they would like more information.
We have never advertised dog feeding as part of this tour. Allowing visitors to feed working dogs is not permitted and would be irresponsible.
The kennel is located in a remote natural area, as described in the tour details, which explains the transfer time. The price reflects small-group operation, animal welfare standards, and ethical practices.

Where do I start...? Driver Monika, picked up us right one time. Besides the freezing rain she took care of us and drove us safe all the way to the PELLO where had a once in a lifetime experience. Once we arrived in the Husky kennel experience we were given clear instructions on how to drive / handle the sled. Dogs are really powerful and it was a magical experience overall. Spent close to an hour running thru Lapland's pristine forest being pulled by 4 beautiful and strong working huskies. Once ride was done we got to play with the dogs and hace the classic hot blueberry juice and cookies. Money is nothing compared to what you get out of this. Just book it!

Long drive to get there (middle of nowhere!) but worth it. Nice tour guide, and lovely husky/farm owners. Very authentic, and great Sled ride though the forest and then onto the frozen lake.

We had the absolute best time on our husky adventure! It exceeding expectations even in the -27 degrees temperature! The staff were very attentive to us making sure we had suitable clothing and checking the kids out. Take lots of hand warmers! The dogs were so friendly, very well looked after and absolutely loved it, they were getting annoyed with us when we stopped 😂 the scenery is like something from a film it’s amazing. 100% recommend we had a fabulous day

Incredible experience dogsledding in Lapland! We loved being able to experience the beauty of the forest while dogsledding. The tour operators communicated well with us both before and during the tour. They gave great instruction on how to drive and brake before we got started and we were led on a snowmobile so the dogs knew the route and the right speed. The tour operators/owners were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They even pointed out wild reindeer on our drive from Rovaniemi to the dog sledding location. Everyone had a great time and after dog sledding was over the kids loved being able to play with the dogs and warm up by the fire. Overall it was an absolutely amazing experience. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Absolutely amazing experience! All the ladies that work there are super experienced, kind and friendly. They showed us how to drive a sled and let us drive it on our own, which was an incredible experience. All people who work there really love the huskies and take very good care of them. It’s like a family of women and huskies, truly exceptional! Definitely recommend visiting the kennel and booking a long husky ride. The best experience we had in Finland!

So much fun and a little scary when the dogs start veering off into the snow but as long as you follow instructions and have a tight grip on the sled, you will love it. The dogs are so cute and you get to play with them after the ride. You can choose to be a passenger or driver but you need to weigh enough to be able to stand on the brake to slow the dogs down as they’re always trying to pass the other dogs. After the ride one of the dogs was nuzzling with me and it was a great experience to talk to the owner and ask questions.

An unforgettable experience in Rovaniemi! The 3-hour husky sled ride was magical: gliding through snowy landscapes, surrounded by Arctic nature, is a memory I’ll cherish forever. The guides were incredibly kind, passionately explaining the training of the huskies and offering us warm tea and berry juice during a cozy break. The huskies, full of energy and love for their work, made the adventure even more special. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Lapland!

We all did the 8-10km husky experience and thought this was spectacular and fantastic value for money from start to finish. When we arrived the lady explained everything about mushing, we then went for our ride through the forest which was amazing and we even saw wild reindeer! When we arrived back we had hot berry juice and a cinnamon cake around an open fire and chatted to the owner about the dogs, finding out some very interesting facts. We also got to meet the puppies and hold them, such a wonderful amazing experience and we would highly recommend this. Thank you

The whole trip was fab, picked up from hotel and taken into the forest. Welcomed by the team and dogs and given the safety briefing. All set and in the sleigh and off into the beautiful forest. Trip was exhilarating and awesome dogs were just amazing.: returned back to meet the pups and have hot chocolate and marshmallows. Wonderful day and our guide dropped us to to Centre to continue exploring. Highly recommend x

Fantastic experience with our 3 boys, ages 9, 7 and 5. It was everyone's favourite Lapland activity. Snow was a bit doubtful for us at one point prior to the trip (late Nov) but luckily it worked out for us
