We had a wonderful experience with Alec in the Finish archipelago hiking through the woodlands. Lunch was delicious and enjoyable, plus we had some time to take a short exploration hike on our own. Recommend this activity for outdoors people!

This was a great experience. The hike was challenging (especially since it was mid February with fresh snow from the night before along the trail) on a particularly cold day. We hiked for about an hour to the shore of the Baltic Sea, and while our guide, Maria, made lunch, we walked across the ice to one of the small islands. We then had salmon soup for lunch. The tour company was very accommodating of our dietary needs (one woman is vegetarian and was given mushroom soup, and 2 do not eat dairy and were served the soup before the cream was added). I thought that the salmon soup was the best I’ve had since arriving in Finland. We then hiked back to the van. I thought Maria was an excellent guide and was able to tell us about the trees and the birds (I couldn’t believe we saw birds despite it being the middle of winter). Overall this was a really fun excursion.

This trip was a lovely walk through nature to a beautiful spot to have a nicely prepared Finnish lunch. We had free time to explore and the hiking was not strenuous. The guide was personable and informative. Picking blueberries on the walk was a highlight.

Great tour. We were a small group, so we got to know each other well. Alex was very personable and kept us informed along the way. He prepared a nice lunch for us to eat in the park. Some wildlife sightings along the way. I am a senior, but the hike was easy. Alex provided walking sticks, water and even toilet paper for the rather rustic toilets! He obviously loves what he is doing. It was nice to get out of the city and enjoy some beautiful scenery and the Baltic sea coast.

Alex was a great host - very knowledgeable about the flora/fauna of coastal Finland. It was fun to get out of the city into nature. The hike is mostly flat terrain and very easy. The lunch was expertly prepared! We loved our half day, archipelago tour!

I love this hiking with lunch tour. I wish it was longer. Alex was our guide and he was careful driver, specially on those windy roads. The lunch was delicious and they accommodated our vegan and gluten free people. I highly recommend this to my friends and family.

A great day spent exploring the forests of Finland. Tour was beautifully organized and we had a great time. And, a thankful shout out to the tour company who made special food items to accommodate my sons food allergies. Everyone should experience Finland outside of Helsinki and this is the company to choose for your experience. You won’t regret it.

Learning about the archipelago and the forest we hiked through was very interesting. Christian was knowledgeable and easy going, making for a very enjoyable hike and adventure. The lunch was delicious. A perfect way to spend half a day outside of the city and get a taste of the country.

This was a nice half-day tour out to the coast near Helsinki. Our guide gave us an overview of the flora and fauna, and we had a nice lunch. You can swim in the sea so bring a swimming costume!

It was lovely to go outside Helsinki and walk through some of the stunning Finnish scenery and breathe the pine scented air. Jeff and Alex were enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides. My daughter and I enjoyed a very special morning with Jeff exploring the archipelago. Jeff is kind, patient and so friendly, and he made our morning of hiking a lot of fun. We both learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the area and loved hiking around the unique area. Jeff made us a great lunch over a campfire, too! We would definitely recommend a tour with Jeff if you’re considering options for visiting the area!

Jeff was an excellent guide who knew every plant , every tree , every bird and every berry
that we encountered. The scenery is breathtaking and when you reach the shore you are at the southernmost tip of Finland. Lunch was yummy ! Thanks ,Jeff !

Our guide was immense. Everything from the narration, to the food, was immaculately arranged. There was also this sense of warmth and passion for the environment that emanated from our guide. The landscape was of course very beautiful, but it takes an amazing guide to bring it to life, and ours did this with aplomb.
