Fantastic Tour. Gabriel was brilliant. His passion for the Northern Lights was infectious and knew no bounds. We saw the fabulous Northern Lights at two separate locations. The sighting of wild reindeer running beside the road was an added bonus. Such a great night. Thoroughly recommend.

We saw amazing lights, even though it was raining in Rovaniemi when we left! All were prepared for a long 3+ hour drive through Sweden to find a patch of open sky - and we did! The driver had so many resources and experience, that we relaxed, trusting our guide George completely. (It seemed like other vans were following us, I think they knew our guide was the best ;-).
He got just as excited as us when he found them, just seconds before they rippled across the sky. The lights were very strong for 10+ minutes, but they were visible as a mist/cloud for almost an hour. The guide took as many pictures as we wanted, and will send a link to photos a few days later.
It is a long drive if it’s cloudy in Rovaniemi, so bring plenty of data to catch up on emails and write up your trip notes - or listen to your audiobook while enjoying the long, dark, snowy road lined with trees. Our trip took 10 hours total. The next night was clear in R. and the other guests got back after only 4 hours.
Warning: there is only ONE gas station along the entire route with a bathroom, and it’s only one toilet for 1-3 vans, for ~ 24 people - very very clean though. Take small sips if you must drink, or be prepared to “go behind the van” if you can.

Ahmet was a fantastic guide ! He went above and beyond to find the best viewing spots for the northern lights. Our day started with fog and clouds but Ahmet kept going to until we found clear skies and a perfect view of the lights. He was professional, amicable, and a great photographer. Based on the weather forecast we knew our chances of seeing the Northern Lights were very poor. Arctic GM eas very open and honnest about the possibilities that evening. Alternatives (refund, other day, discount) were offered. Anyway: we chose to take our chances. Our guide Guiseppe was determined to show us the Northern Lights. We drove three hours, deep into Sweden, to find clear skies. And guess what? We saw the beautiful aurora borealis! Totally worth the effort. Thumbs up for the guide who tried so hard, took the time to explain the physics behond the Northern Lights, took pictures like there is no tomorrow and brought us home safely. I highly recommend Arctic GM. The definitely try everything they can to make the customer happy. Thank you for all the effort!

We had the best experience hunting the northern lights! Our guide drove us 4 hours to make sure we were able to see them since weather wouldn't permit seeing them in Rovaniemi. We are so thankful for our guide and her knowledge of the best places to see the lights. The purposes of our trip was to see the lights so having her drive us far out was much appreciated. Our guide “M” was determined to have us see the lights. The skies were overcast and we traveled over 100 kilometers until we began to see stars. We stopped at 3 different sights and each was better than the other. The last stop was phenomenal. The lights surrounded us. You didn’t know where to look. I don’t know who was most excited… “M” or us.

Had THE most amazing time on this tour and our guide Mattel was brilliant. It was a cloudy night with little chance of seeing the northern lights many had told us, but Matteo persisted and drove us over 3 hours to get the perfect Northern Lights sighting. He waited for them, using his data to predict when they would arrive (and was spot on!) and stated after other groups had given up and headed home. This was an absolute bucket list experience and I would thoroughly recommend, Matteo’s professionalism and knowledge made the night unforgettable. Thank you!!

Great experience, we did multiple tours and this was the only tour in which the guide persisted even in cloudy weather and gave us a view of the Northern lights,with amazing photos to follow with a professional camera. Dylan was a fantastic tour guide. The experience far exceeded our expectations. I traveled from the US to visit a friend who lives here & we were blown away by the auroras we saw on our excursion. We saw 3 different storms/displays & each was more impressive than the last. I know that part is out of anyone's control but we had such a wonderful experience meeting the other people in our group, and learning more about the science of the northern lights from our guide, Dylan. This tour exceeded every expectation. Our guide, Matteo, went above and beyond—he drove for more than 13 hours to make sure we had the best possible chance to see the Northern Lights, and it truly paid off.
Thanks to his dedication and determination, we were able to see the Northern Lights in Stenbacken, Kiruna, Sweden, and the sight was absolutely magical. Matteo never rushed us, kept checking conditions, and was clearly committed to giving us the best experience possible.

Try not to eat much some hours before the pick up. It’s lot of driving with no bathroom available along the way. If you can, take an emergency kit with you. The only place to use as bathroom is behind the trees or behind the vehicle. It’s the road and trees on your right and left in the middle of the darkness as it should be. Just like going to camping, Other than that , it is an unforgettable experience. Robin, our guide was amazing all the time, giving scientific information about why the lights occur and looking for the best place to find them.

Lovely customer service team; however, I would like to note that 'unlimited mileage'/'guarantee' tour was cancelled on us twice, stating that the conditions for seeing the northern lights were unfavourable. Completely understand that weather does get in the way; however, the lack of attempt given the tour name was disappointing.
After the rescheduled tour was cancelled again, we ended up booking last minute with another company (also unlimited mileage/guarantee) who took us out and well and truly lived up to the name. We ended up seeing the most amazing aurora, so I am glad we booked with them/didn't miss out during our trip!

They are very professional! I highly recommend this company. You can find cheaper offers online but they will just rip off your money.
For 2 days they kept controlling the weather and they advised us that there were no chances to see it so in the end we got a full refund immediately.
With other providers you just go out but they know from start that you won’t see anything and they keep your money.

The northern lights experience was unforgettable and we saw a spectacular show of dancing lights. They are not as green as you see in the pictures but I am told that is simply because the eyes cannot process the colours at night. The one downside was that our guide did not seem to have much experience with the camera at all. All 150 “professional” photos of our group ended up either blurry, out of focus or over exposed. We will still have the memories of course but such a shame we cannot relive them in our pictures as we would like to.

Trip shouldn't had gone ahead as there was too much cloud and not enough solar activity. We travelled to Sweden started at 7pm and arrived back in rovaniemi at 4am. We only saw lights through the camera and it was quite light. Also people were posting saying they saw the lights in rovaniemi. Very disappointing as the company promises a lot but delivered little. They are supposed to be the oldest and best as per their website. Very disappointed as this was our last night.

For many visitors, this is a once‑in‑a‑lifetime opportunity in one of the few places on Earth where the lights can appear, so expectations vary a lot.
At the same time, we understand that some guests hope for strong, dancing auroras. Today, AI images and heavily edited photos online often create unrealistic expectations, and the real aurora can be much softer or faint.
