Fun and educational. Great variety of places chosen for the tour and insight about Finnish language! I took my teenagers which are hard to impress and they looked interested.

We expected a quiet, modest Finnish local tour guide. We got an extremely loud, self centred American, who talked about himself for the first 30 minutes, after which we abruptly left the tour. Terrible.

The guide took us on a wide array of locations around central Helsinki. The tour is fun, informative, and not difficult. It is interesting to see the city from the perspective of a non-native local resident (the guide is an American student) - it may even be more valuable for a tourist than getting the perspective of a local guide.
The guide has a good sense of humor which is apparent throughout the tour and a unique style.
Well, actually, he could have used the word "actually" a bit less, it's kind of distracting, but not so much that it interferes with the experience. Anyway, highly recommended.

Daniel did an outstanding job. The itinerary was as described, however, Daniel made it more interesting with his insights. Well worth the cost. It would be nice to have a church included.

The operator is American and has a big booming voice. He'll talk virtually the entire tour and try to give you as much information as possible.
He focuses on history but also talks about Finnish art, culture, and norms.
All in all, I would definitely recommend the tour to others!!

An excellent overview of the history of Helsinki and Finland. Daniel is passionate about his subject and the tour really shows the care with which he has chosen the stops. Daniel is a storyteller and we enjoyed the tour. A great experience!

A fantastic and interesting tour of Helsinki which was pitched at just the right level by our tour guide Daniel. The tour consisted of a mix of history over the ages, with visits to all of the main state buildings and also includes a visit to the cathedral, museum and a couple of libraries. The tour covers a lot of history from over the centuries with a modern day experience at the end when we visited the new city library.
Daniel is a great guide who is extremely knowledge and has a very infectious enthusiasm for the city which soon rubs off on you.
I visited with my wife and were joined on the tour by one other couple.
We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking of visiting Helsinki.
Daniel is great, very knowledgeable, personable and a genuine nice guy.

Excellent Walking Tour – Highly Recommended!
Our walking tour of Helsinki was fantastic! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and architecture, and his passion for Helsinki and Finnish culture truly shone through. Both my 11-year-old daughter and I had plenty of questions, and he answered every single one with patience and enthusiasm. The tour was well-paced, engaging, and full of interesting insights that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. If you’re looking for an informative and enjoyable way to explore Helsinki, I highly recommend this tour!

This was a great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. We learned a lot about each location we visited. You could tell our tour guide is a history buff. He also shared some great Finnish phrases to use on our travels. The library was amazing. This is a must-do tour!
