We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Dimiter in Rovaniemi. From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what he does.
What truly made the difference was his dedication to giving us the best possible chance to see the Northern Lights. He carefully monitored the weather conditions and drove us to the best possible spots, always patient and determined. Thanks to him, we witnessed one of the most magical moments of our lives — the Aurora Borealis dancing in the sky.
Beyond that, Dimiter made the entire experience even more special with his kindness, great energy, and attention to detail. He made us feel comfortable, excited, and well taken care of throughout the whole tour.

Great experience, managed to see the lights despite a lot of cloud cover and snow due to the expertise of our driver Kristaps. Post the first sighting we continued and were even offered to drive to Sweden to get a better viewing. Would book again.

Our guide was great, he contacted us the day before our planned tour (due to do tour on Saturday night) to say that the forecast was heavy cloud so it looked very unlikely that we would see the lights and could we do the tour on Friday night instead as there was a much better chance. Even though we only landed from our flight at 2am (!!), he met us at our hotel after we got our taxi from the airport and took us straight out to try and see the lights before they weakened and disappeared!
We were so lucky to get to see them and we were very grateful for our guides' flexibility and commitment to getting us the best chance!
Would 100% recommend, our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about the northern lights and it was overall a fantastic experience!

According to our records, there were two separate bookings made for the same experience. For one of them, our guide was present at the agreed meeting point and the seats were reserved exclusively for you, however unfortunately no one showed up.
The second booking was later cancelled due to very poor weather conditions and extremely low chances of Northern Lights, and a full refund was issued.
Despite this, as a gesture of goodwill, we also offered you the opportunity to join another Aurora tour at 50% discount, which goes beyond our standard policy.
We always aim to act fairly, transparently and in the best interest of our guests, and we’re sorry that the Viator app issue affected your experience.

Great northern lights tour! Meeting time and place were communicated via WhatsApp so there was no confusion. Our guide was great picked us up and dropped us off steps from our room. The weather was cloudy but he made sure we would see the lights. We drove to Sweden which was a fun surprise and had an amazing show! He took pictures of us throughout the night. The tour was small only 2 others so it felt very personal and we were able to choose different decisions throughout the night. Tea and cookies were a nice touch. It was clear the guide was an expert and taught us all about the parameters needed to see the lights. 5 stars!

Having done a few Northern Lights Tours in other countries, we sort of knew what to expect.
Our guide messaged us a few hours before our pick up time to say the light activity was low and we would be collected an hour later which we were happy with. We were also informed that we may have to drive to Sweden to see them so to bring our passports.
We were collected on time and our group only had two more people in. The small tours really are worth the extra money! After driving for an hour or so we stopped at the first spot and had no luck so we tried a few more spots before driving to Sweden. We were told by the guide that the forecast was now lower than expected and we may struggled to see them. We stopped at the side of the road in Sweden for some fresh air and after about 10 minutes we notices the lights coming through. The guide quickly set us his camera and we were able to get some decent pictures. Obviously this is all down to chance, noone is guaranteed to see them and anyone who thinks they are needs to recobsider going on these sorts of trips.
Once we got our photos we headed back to the city which took around 2.5 hours.
Overall, we would recommend this company. Their communication was good, they were punctual and they did try their best. The only downside was we didn't feel like it was as friendly atmosphere as we have felt in other countries. A little bit more information whilst we were driving would have been nice to kill some time.

we wanted to have a guaranteed experience and photo of the northern lights...so we booked this rare experience. we started with 7pm and ended past 12midnight...two families. The other family had small children while we were just 3 with and adult child.
we didn't see the northern lights.
we just wasted $319USD.

I was very impressed with our guide's experience and dedication to find the Northern Lights. He was very knowledgable about the auroras, and though the car ride to find the lights was very long (we drove to Sweden!), it was very comfortable and totally worth it!
Me and my friend also had a little nap in the car because we didn't come back until 4:00am haha. Though the trip may get pushed back due to how the aurora activity is, it was not a bother because we still saw the Northern Lights, which was amazing as the forecast did not look good.
I think going in, it is good to consider what the auroras look like to the naked eye, so that one's expectations are realistic. Of course, they look great on camera and our guide had a tripod and sent us the photos later!
Overall, I would recommend this experience : )

We absolutely loved this tour! We were specifically looking for a smaller company to avoid the “barbecue-style” group outings, and this was exactly what we hoped for. The team was truly focused on customer satisfaction, going above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. They were incredibly flexible, even offering to change the date if the weather wasn’t ideal and adjusting the timing to give us the best chance of seeing the auroras. And wow, did it pay off! The night was truly amazing. Our guide Božo was very knowledgeable, he thought us many interesting things about Aurora. But also he knew good spots and he was constantly communicating with other guides who were out that night to ensure that we catch Aurora. We ended up finding perfect spot and getting big Aurora storm. Plus he was patient taking many pictures for everyone. Truly magical experience that we will never forget.

This night was magical. Dimitar picked us up at home and even adjusted the hunting time twice to get the most of the aurora experience. He took lots of photos of us and the auroras and was really passionate himself. He adapted the whole route to our needs and brought tee and cookies with him. He drove us to three different spots in the local area (driving was about 20-40 min). There never is a guarantee to spot the auroras, but we would always take that risk with Dimitar as a guide again. It was such a great trip.

I had a great time on the Northern Lights tour, even though there was a small hiccup along the way. Another tour group had car issues, so our vehicle was used to assist them, and our guide, Kris, had to step in to help. Despite this, the tour remained fun and well-organized.
The tour started right on time, and Kris went above and beyond to ensure we got to see the Northern Lights. We visited several different locations, maximizing our chances of witnessing the aurora, and his dedication paid off. Absolutely incredible! Our guide was Dimitar and he was fabulous! We've been looking for aurora for years...multiple countries, countless tries and nothing. Even this trip we tried with another company and saw nothing. We were originally scheduled one day but the company called and said it wouldn't be visible until late. They rescheduled us and I am so happy they did! They were so honest and communicative and really wanted us to find them. So many tours just say good luck it's a bad night, but not here. We also took our 5 year old son and the guide was so kind to him. You go to multiple locations to try and find it, which is awesome!
Seriously an incredible experience - highly highly recommend! The photos are also the icing on the cake!

Von Anfang an hat er mit seiner freundlichen, humorvollen und engagierten Art für eine angenehme Atmosphäre gesorgt. Man hat gemerkt, dass ihm wichtig ist, seinen Gästen ein unvergessliches Erlebnis zu bieten. Mein 10-jähriger Sohn und ich wurden am 02.02.2025 pünktlich vor unserem Hotel von Vess in einem gemütlichen Van abgeholt und nach einem kurzen Briefing (Wetterlage, Tourplanung) steuerten wir den ersten von drei vorgesehenen Spots an. Und tatsächlich zeigte sich die Aurora, zwar zunächst dezent, aber es reichte um ein paar Aufnahmen mit der professionellen Kamera zu machen. Danach wärmten wir uns im Van auf und Vess versorgte uns mit heißem Tee und leckeren Keksen und erzählte uns viel interessante Fakten über die Nordlichter. Das absolute Highlight der Tour war jedoch, als wir an unserem 2. Spot ankamen! Wir gerieten richtig in Euphorie, als wir Zeuge dieses magischen Auroraspektakels wurden! Die Polarlichter tanzten direkt über uns und präsentierten sich in leuchtenden grün und lila schimmernden Tönen… Eine phänomenales Naturschauspiel, welches wir nie vergessen werden! Dank Vess haben wir wunderschöne Aufnahmen zur Erinnerung an diese großartige Auroa-Show. Er setzte uns perfekt in Szene und hat es geschafft, uns in der magischen Kulisse abzulichten, Bereits am nächsten Tag hatten wir via WeTransfer-Link Zugriff auf seine hochwertigen Bilder. Diese Tour war gut organisiert, gemütlich und zudem auch noch erfolgreich, daher absolut empfehlenswert!

Abbiamo trascorso due notti magiche alla ricerca dell’aurora boreale spingendoci addirittura fino alla Svezia pur di vederla, grazie alla nostra fantastica guida. Una persona disponibile, gentile che ci ha permesso di ammirare una bellissima aurora e scattare tantissime foto. Il tour dura più di 5 ore, diffidate da i tour di poche ore che non fanno una vera propria caccia ma si fermano in un solo punto e offrono cibo scadente. Scegliete loro come agenzia perché non ve ne pentirete, perché sono persone che ci tengono veramente. Durante il tour vi verrà offerto una bevanda calda accompagnata da dei biscotti.
