Great experience

This tour was great. The tour guide provided a lot of great information about the area and the history of the Monasteries. He actually lives in that area and provided a unique and genuine perspective for the tour. Lunch was at a local restaurant and was excellent. Was a long day as it is 4 hours from Athens, but the scenery was well worth the time spent in the bus.

Excellent tour of the Acropolis, Parthenon and Acropolis Museum from Athens Walk. Our guide, Anastasia, was very knowledgeable of the history, mythology and construction. Visitors should know there is a lot of walking over uneven terrain, up hills and stairs. But the walk was worth it for the experience to see the Acropolis up close.

Pantelis was a fantastic...

Pantelis was a fantastic tour guide! We really enjoyed seeing the changing of the guards in front of the president’s house where it was not so crowded. He found an excellent place for us to watch it and explained everything about the uniform and the procedure of it! Then he had a book and explained the layout and history of the Acropolis so when we entered we would know what we were seeing. He was flexible with the remaining things we saw and catered the tour to what we wanted to see and do. He was an amazing tour guide!

First time best time

I enjoyed being in the Acropolis for the first time, guided by Damos the tour was enlightening in discovering more about the surroundings and links to mythology. He made the group feel welcomed and wanted to talk to us separately about ourselves and our time in Athens. He made sure everyone was safe as the site is large and took photos for everyone with the acropolis in the background. Would like to visit again and recommend Damos as an ideal expert to tour anyone around the Acropolis.

John the Archeologist is the BEST!

Our guide, “John the Archeologist” Was phenomenal! He made the whole tour memorable and fascinating!! He truly knows his history and made our experience wonderful. There is a lot of walking. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. Listen to your guide as they will make sure you get plenty of opportunities for pictures.

The only way to do it!

If you don’t have much time and really want to get to know Athens, this is the only way to do it, we didn’t have to wait in any queues, everything was organized for us by Aristotle perfectly well considering the weather forecast and his knowledge and passion for history being a historian and an archaeologist, gave us an unforgettable experience! I don’t know how the other guides are, but I highly recommend him!

Our walking food tour of Athens was the highlight of our trip and Giannis our guide was the most memorable for sure. He was so passionate in his love of the food, culture and history. We learned so much! The food portions were very generous. Well worth every single penny. The bougatsa was my favorite, must try! Giannis went above & beyond and showed us where to buy honey and olive oil. Such a lovely young gentleman with warmth and charisma. We felt like we made a new friend

A perfect start to a perfect weekend in Athens

We took this private tour the first morning of our long weekend in Athens and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. As a family group of 7 it seemed like the best tour to do. Giannis our guide picked us up first thing in the morning and the Acropolis was our first stop. I strongly recommend that the Acropolis is visited as early as possible in the morning to avoid the crowds and (if applicable) the heat. The guide gave just enough information before he dropped us off and that left us free to meander in our own time around this truly remarkable archeological site. The rest of the the trip was a really fun tour round the other important sites and things to see. It was spot on for setting us up with a general feel and appreciation of the city and is perfect for anyone passing through or on a short stay. Giannis - our guide was super friendly, well informed and very flexible. 10/10

Beautiful Sunset Tour!

Cape Sounio was beautiful, especially at sunset! Our guide and driver were fantastic. The only issue we had was having to wait in line for tickets, which did not give us much time at the actual Temple of Poseidon. I wish we had the option to purchase tickets in advance to eliminate standing in line for 20 minutes.

10/10 Would do again!

It was a decent amount of walking and up an incline with some steep parts and stairs as well. It wasn’t too slippery for us on a nice day but if it’s raining then it could be extra slick as well. It was a very great experience, our tour guide was very informed and gave us a great overview of the history of the area and culture. She was very lovely and made the tour easy to follow along with and gave plenty of opportunities and tips of when and where to take pictures!
