Really great tour with Emily. Great way to view the city. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Seeing the sights at sunset was really magical. The traditional Greek meal was very good and Emily made some great recommendations. Our favourite tour in Athens.

What a wonderful experience! Our guide was Emily and it ended up being just us with her. It was unexpected but definitely welcomed!
She took us all around Plaka Market, skirted around the area of the Acropolis and both the Roman Agora and Ancient Agora. We also went through a beautiful neighborhood of Anafiotika. We had a great dinner and afterwards got to see the Acropolis & Parthenon lit up in the dark.
Emily was amazing and quite knowledgeable. We felt like we were talking with an old friend the whole time!

It was an excellent tour. We got to experience the highlights of the city with Katerina who was passionate about her native city. She explained the history of the city and brought it to life for us. It was an amazing start to our city break. We loved the taverna. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was impeccable. It was so good we went back. Katarina was an excellent guide! She walked us through some beautiful areas of Athens, filling us with the history of the sights. She even included the Greek origin of contemporary English words, and dinner was delicious! It was a great tour!

This was an awesome excursion! We saw and learned about so many places and things. Our tour guide, Emily, brought the history to life and she was so kind and personable. When the tour ended. We had a fabulous Greek dinner that was also included in the price of the tour. There was so much food we could not finish it! Wonderful walking tour to say the least!

Our guide Theo was exceptionally knowledgeable and very friendly. I'd walked some of the area in the daytime but it took on a different atmosphere at night and especially when I realised things I'd missed. Highly recommend the tour and the dinner was perfect. Our tour guide for this small group tour was Emily who did an awesome job. She knew the ancient history as well as the modern. She took us places that are more private areas and educated us on all the area. The twilight tour gave a great refreshing perspective. My wife and I highly recommend this tour without any hesitation. We finished with a great dinner.

Traveling solo and wanted to see the city at night with others. This was a great way to experience the city and hit some highlights of the city, like the changing of the guards and Anafiotika. Be ready to walk and then enjoy a well earned dinner, which was delicious!!

Our guides Katerina and Emily were lovely. We had a private tour by chance, and felt very comfortable immediately. We saw the changing of the guards, walked through charming neighborhoods and the ancient and Roman agoras. Katerina and Emily were very friendly and knowledgeable about history and archeology. We enjoyed a lovely dinner with them and by the time the tour ended it felt like we had spent the evening with friends. The tour helped us feel oriented to the main neighborhoods and settled. A great way to spend our first night. Highly recommend!

“Athens at Night” with Katarina was an amazing walking tour! She provided a great introduction to the beauty and history of the city in an intimate atmosphere where all questions were encouraged. We saw so many highlights, including the Changing of the Guard, the historic Plaka, the peaceful streets of Anafiotika, as well as Monastiraki Square. As we walked, we took in the breathtaking views at night of the Acropolis, Parthenon, and Lycabettus Hill. Katarina’s passionate love of history was infectious! The evening ended with a delicious Greek meal at an excellent local restaurant — included in the cost of the tour! The whole experience is highly recommended!

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful walking tour that began at the Parliament, where we learned about the history and symbolism of the Evzones’ traditional uniform during the Changing of the Guard. We strolled through Plaka, spent a quiet moment inside the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, and walked along Tripodon Street, the oldest street in Europe.
My favorite was the charming neighborhood of Anafiotika, where we experienced everyday Greek life and enjoyed the panoramic views of Athens. We also loved seeing the Ancient Agora of Athens and Roman Agora beautifully lit at night.
Grateful for Katarina and Emily’s stories, warm company, and their recommendations for traditional Greek cuisine in Thissio. A lovely evening of history, culture, and connection. ✨

Katarzyna was really sweet and polite. She made sure to make conversation with everyone. Had in depth knowledge of Athens & answered all our questions. Gave us great tips on where to shop & eat. The fact that she is an archeologist made it all the more fun and informative. Would 100% recommend her. Special mention to her sister Isabella who joined us & made sure we were comfortable - such a lovely lady.

It a tour of downtown area. You hear the stories about the ancient buildings, legends, etc. The walk does have some stairs so be prepared. Gary was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable and also gave us recommendations for future dining locations.

This was a great tour! We enjoyed our guide, Theo. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. We had so much fun seeing the sites and learning about the history and culture of Greece. Seeing the ancient sites at night was amazing! The restaurant we stopped at for dinner was delicious and the food was plentiful. As long as you are up for a long walk, do not hesitate to book this tour!

This is a must do activity if you are in Athens. Theo, our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable, passionate about his work and full of energy. We had to come back early and he dropped us back ensuring we are safe! He can make you fall in love with city. The authentic Greek dinner was awesome!

I had an amazing experience on this tour and seeing the city after sunset was truly magical. The monuments are beautifully lit and the cooler evening weather made it comfortable to explore.
Theo is the ultimate tour guide. He is knowledgeable, friendly and brought the history of each site or activity to life with great storytelling and fun local insights.
Between visiting several iconic landmarks, wandering through charming neighborhoods and getting tips on where to eat or what to explore next, Theo made sure there were plenty opportunities for photos.
The dinner at the end of the tour was scrumptious with amazing local flavor and generous portion sizes!

This tour was absolutely amazing. Theo was so thorough and had such a great personality. Not only did we see great sites and learn the history but the dinner was AMAZING. I enjoy walking so I enjoyed myself but if you don’t just know it’s a lot of walking. I’m so happy that I did this tour on my first day, what a great intro to Athens and Greek culture.

Outstanding does not do justice to the tour we just took - “Athens by Night Enchanting Walking Tour and Dinner Delights.“ Our guide, Teddy, is as much the delight of the tour as the tour itself.
He delivered an incredibly detailed overview of the shaping of Greece in its earliest times to present day. Every site we visited was relevant and his commentary about each person, place and thing increased our appreciation of having “hit” on a gem of a tour, making the history of Greece and it’s many philosophers, battles, and contributing factors enthralling and eye opening.
We savored every moment and our dinner together was outstanding! Teddy even showed us some “off the beaten track” areas of Greece that hopefully you will get to see as well. We would rate this tour A+ and highly recommend it!!!!

The information he gives on the tour was so interesting and the sites we visited were wonderful especially at night. Several sites we would not have known about had we not gone on the tour. Being that I have traveled to many different places and been on tours with many different tour guides, this tour was BY FAR the best one I have ever been on! Athens is a beautiful place, with so much history and our tour guide, Teddy, was extremely knowledgeable the entire time. On this tour the food was the best I have ever had. Teddy gave recommendations of what to eat for dinner, that I am going to continue to order for the remainder of my trip. So authentic! Something that I loved about this perfect tour was the fact that many of the places we visited were places I would've never found just on my own without Teddy. Although I loved every minute of this tour, my favorite surprise while walking was the discovery of Anafiotika! The white walls felt as though I was walking through one of the famous islands of Greece, it was absolutely stunning. I felt so immersed in Greek culture especially because how many interesting facts that were being presented to me by Teddy the entire time! While the tour was extremely informative, I also was lucky enough to meet a true Greek himself with so much experience and knowledge of Greece. What I loved too about Teddy was the fact that he always was open to any questions I had and he made sure we stopped at the BEST picture-perfect places so I can have memories that will last a life time in this beautiful country. If you are looking for the best introduction to Athens, this is the tour you need to book!
