Panos was a wonderful guide! His knowledge was great and having a private tour is the best way to go! We enjoyed it very much. We have a new Greek friend!
We really enjoyed our 4hrs private tour of Athens with our tour guide Manos the Greek. Manos was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable of Athens historical sites. We really enjoyed and appreciate the customized service of pickup and drop off of every site and ensuring we had the best experience. We would definitely recommend Manos as your tour guide.
Our Driver was on time for our pick up at the hotel. He was very friendly. Had waters for us for the tour. Our private guide was also very friendly and very knowledgeable. She had deep knowledge of the history or the Acropolis and Parthenon and extremely well versed in Greek mythology. She was very animated and brought the mythology to life all day. They took us to multiple sites. We really enjoyed seeing the sites and being educated. We also had a lot of fun along the way. Hiring a private guide in addition to the driver was a great idea.
I cannot say enough great stuff about this tour!! My tour guide was Stefanos. When you take this tour make sure to request him. He has the best energy!!! He will happily answer any question you have. And if you ask nicely he may do a stop for gelato or a freddo cappuccino.
The tour itself shows you all the ancient spots in Athens and points out all the modern buildings along the way. And you will stop to view the changing of the guards. Stefanos, will explain the uniform and the significance of the marching style. The van has great AC and water is provided throughout the tour. The city has a lot to see and this is truly one of the best ways to do it!
Our driver, Panos, was exemplary. He arrived several minutes early and reached out to me via WhatsApp. We drove around in a very comfortable vehicle while he provided information about all our stops. He also provided us several bottles of water during our adventure. He gave us ample time to take photos and even took countless photos of us. He also took personal time to come back to our hotel to return an item we had left in the vehicle. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Panos and this company for your private tour around Athens.
It took 24 hours following our tour to submit this review as we really wanted say it right. It is our pleasure to strongly recommend Aris as a tour guide and driver in Athens. That said he is far more than a tour guide. He is more like a university professor that you would love to have as a student at any age or stage of life. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and willing to go above and beyond for his guests.
This was not a group tour where we tried to keep up following a “red flag” and try to listen or hear a memorized speech. Aris is someone who has deep knowledge of the city he grew up in and this was also some what of a cultural exchange as he shared things about himself and his family.
Aris has an extreme background of knowledge on the fascinating history of Greece and the surrounding European countries. He provided us with information before visiting each stop in Athens. We traveled in an air conditioned car, offered water and was easy to locate when returning from the Acropolis.
We would give him a rating higher than 5 Stars if we could. His English speaking skills were excellent and we feel fortunate to have met him as a person. We would highly recommend him to our family and friends when they travel to this part of the world!!
Dimi did an absolutely wonderful job on our tour! His knowledge was amazing and we truly enjoyed learning many things about Athens and Greece! We would highly recommend Dimi’s tour, especially to first time Athens visitors!!!
This tour of the Acropolis and surrounding area was fantastic. Our guide, Manolis, was so personable and knowledgeable. He gave us a good mix of historical information and cultural insight. He was accommodating to the 2 seniors and 3 teenagers we (4 adults) were traveling with as well. He reached out to let us know when and where he would be for pickup, drop-off, and the times we were viewing the sights. The changing of the guards was one of our favorite moments. We likely wouldn't have seen that, much less understood what was going on, if it hadn't been for Manolis. One of the best parts was driving up to the church that you can see from the Acropolis. A few of us hiked up the hill and the view was more than worth it. Manolis dropped us off as close to our hotel as he could, given the narrow streets, and provided us with water (it was 100 degrees that day!). Overall, we were more than pleased with our tour and would highly recommend it. Thank you, Manolis!

We had an incredible tour of Athens and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city's history. We saw all of the major highlights while learning fascinating stories that really brought each site to life.
What truly set this tour apart was the exceptional customer service. At the end of the tour, our guide dropped us off wherever we wanted so we could continue exploring the city at our own pace. They also provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, shopping, and other places to visit.
They gave us clear directions on the best way to get back to our cruise ship, and when we later became confused about which cruise terminal to return to, they responded to us through WhatsApp even hours after the tour had ended. They patiently guided us to the correct terminal, which gave us so much peace of mind.

Manolis was a knowledgeable and professional tour guide. He also was able to answer our questions outside of the standard information. He adjusted and accommodated our tour flawlessly.
We had a great tour with George and this was our first activity we did when we got to Greece. He was early picking us up and we had time to grab some coffee before we left. George ensured we had the best experience by taking us to the Acropolis early before the crowds which worked out perfectly! We even got to see the parade march prior to the changing of the guard for the Monument of the Unknown soldier which was really great. George was so knowledgeable, we really enjoyed this tour with him, highly recommend this one to others!

Nikolas and Magdalini were absolutely amazing! Nikolas, our driver, was so helpful getting us to where we needed to go. They were both so knowledgeable about Greek history and current culture. Magdalini, our licensed guide, knew the answers to all of our questions. She went our pace and was wonderful with taking breaks as needed. Our two year old came with us and loved every step of the way. Both Magdalini and Nikolas were patient with our toddler. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Beautiful way to see Athens ♥️

Our guide Panos was absolutely wonderful. He picked the 4 of us up at our hotel in a private car at 8am. Our first stop was the Acropolis where he had pre purchased our tickets and we had time to explore on our own. Later we saw different areas of the city which included stops to see the changing of the guard, walk through the botanical gardens, drove to the highest point in Athens for spectacular views and photos of the city, and saw the Olympic stadium, all the while Panos shared interesting historical facts. Panos was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Instead of dropping us back at the hotel, we asked if he could recommend a good restaurant for lunch and drop us there instead. . The restaurant was delicious. The tour and our guide Panos were both a 10/10.

I booked a private van tour for 8 people and the company provided a very roomy, comfortable van with room for our luggage. The tour operator was extremely responsive to my requests. Our driver/guide Tolis was super fun, knowledgeable, adaptable and helpful in securing a dinner reservation for our group. We spent just the right amount of time at the Acropolis while the "drive-by" landmarks were fine to see in that manner. The highlight was the changing of the guard outside the prime minister's residence.

Peter was prompt in meeting us at our hotel as we began our day of seeing the sights. He was very entertaining and enjoyable to listen to as we learned so much along our tour. Giannis was our tour guide and he was stand-out the best tour guide we have had on our holiday, where we stopped of at Athens as our port of call on our cruise. He was on top of communications for pickup at the cruise port, tailored our experience and assisted us with our unexpected pharmacy stop too.
Very knowledgeable about Athens and had very interesting facts to share. At the end of the trip he dropped us off (at our request) to get possibly the best souvlaki I have eaten, before we headed back to our cruise ship.
The tour itself was the private half day experience to see the Acropolis and other major sites. Car was excellent, aircon, and comfortable journey throughout.

Long walk to acropolis but once you get to the acropolis the views are amazing. The steps are very uneven so if you have knee problems they could be tricky
Also ask for Peter he was amazing very knowledgeable and true concern for us
