We had a fantastic time on our food tour. A really relaxing and fun experience, and a great way to learn about the history of the city and the food. Our guide went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time and tried everything we wanted to taste in Athens. He was excellent at making conversation and sharing his knowledge and experience. A variety of stops and foods to try. I recommend coming hungry!

Ioanna was a wonderful guide! She was very knowledgeable about the history and food culture she shared with us and her English was perfect. The tour was very well paced and the food was delicious. The progression of foods was very appropriate from breakfast through lunch. I took this tour with my 18 year old son who has Down Syndrome, and we were joined by a family of 5 with 2 young children. It was the perfect sized group and a great experience. We loved my first food tour and my son already wants to go in another one!

Even with the Holiday impacting some of the originally scheduled stops our tour guide Christos did an amazing job introducing us to some favorite foods of Athens and giving us history and cultural references along the way. The tour by Athens Food on Foot was better than expected and with our group of 5 (ages 25-84) along with a few others was able to encourage participation by our guide’s enthusiasm, professionalism and kindness. So much food we couldn’t even eat it all! We would love to come back and try additional food tours again with this company especially if we can get Christos to show us around. What a great experience and very recommended!

Great food, wonderful guide, and an authentic Greek experience. My husband and I actually missed the message telling us our meeting location had changed, but Viator and Ava waited for us and gave us directions to find the new location. We didn’t miss any part of the Classic Tour. We had some mobility issues, but Ava accommodated them. Can’t miss with this tour.

Anna gave us a very memorable experience that was surprisingly more than just a food tour! Her familiarity with Athens, traditional foods and the people who make them was impressive. She introduced us to many parts of the City as well as the food, and we were able to return on our own. The very last thing we did before leaving for the airport was walk to the place where she introduced us to yogurt with honey & nuts, and we made it our last taste of Athens before we left! Highly recommend this wonderful experience with Anna!

The Central Market covered the way meat, fish and cheeses were prepared and sold to stores and restaurants. The overall tour covered the typical examples of Greek foods, coffee and pastries. The guide was knowledgeable and caring. There was plenty to eat.

Anna was a great guide providing us with not only a variety of tastings (more than we could eat) but a detailed history of the food. She adapted the tour to help suit my dietary needs and was happy to answer any and all questions. We visited some great places littered throughout the centre, highlighting some of the best cuisine Athens has to offer. A must if your in Athens
