Only issue was transportation - the train no longer runs, so they scheduled a bus. It was old and hot. The meal stop was not great. However, once we connected with our small group tour, it was fabulous. Great guide, beautiful sites, and great history. Lots of stairs, stairs and more stairs but so worth it.

Had a wonderful tour of meteora and our tour guide, Cristos, was awesome. He was so knowledgeable with Meteora's history and knew all the great spot to stop for the best panoramic views. Anyone planning a tour Meteora tour, ask for Cristos, you will have a blast with him. thank you Cristos for the great tour.

My sister and had a great time. The tour guide shared great stories, history, and was very interesting. The driver drove safely and slow around the switch backs on the mountain side. They both were very accommodating and made us feel comfortable. They offered three monasteries where we were able to climb stairs up to, just enough to get a feel for the inside but not kill us physically. The rest we viewed to take pictures from a far. It's a very physically challenging tour but if you take it slow it will be well worth it. It can be done if you are not in great shape.

Maravilloso lugar, los Monasterios parecen estar tocando el cielo. La construcción en aquellos años y en aquel lugar fue todo a mano, un trabajo de muchos años y esfuerzo. Es triste saber que son tan pocos los monjes y monjas que viven allí. Muchos monjes no les gusta ir a METEORA por las tremendas distracciones que son los turistas.
