There is no meeting point. The tour is designed to begin at the Side Acropolis entrance from the south-east slopes of the hill (Thrasillou, Athens, 105 58). The easiest way to get there is from the Acropolis metro station (Red Line). The tour ends at the west entrance-exit of the Acropolis.

From 1st of April to 31st of October senior citizens over 65 from Greece or other EU member-states and the European Economic Area are entitled to 50% reduced admission, upon presentation of their ID card or passport for verification of their age and country of origin. However, they have to wait in line to show ID card or passport.
To reach the Acropolis, exit Acropolis metro station (Line 2), head towards Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, and walk along it. The Theatre of Dionysus will be on your right.
Please be aware that there may be long queues at the entrance, so you might need to wait before entering.
From 22/11/21 to 6/12/21, all visitors should provide a Covid-19 vaccination or immunity certificate at the entrance due to government restrictions.

Great tour of local Athens food culture

Great experience with Nikoleta and the beautiful city of Athens. DON’T EST BEFORE THE TOUR! We learned so much about the culture and ate SO MANY local dishes. Can’t recommend this tour any more!

Great alternate way save $ and see the Acropolis versus a cruise ship excursion.

We had great instructions prior to our experience to download the app and the audio tour. The skip the line tickets were great since there was a long line to buy tickets. We arrived at our scheduled time and went right into the Acropolis. Make sure to charge your phone and headphones before you go. Also if you are on a cruise ship there are several "Hop on Hop Off" Buses at the cruise port that you can use to get to downtown Athens. At the time we paid 20 euros each. A taxi was 25 euros each way. We saved 10 euros and got the extra hop on hop off tour.

Good tour soured by technical issues

We took the downloaded audio tour to our iPhones, and it is very good in principle. The audio is informative, though a little bit dry ... but still very good to have. Installation of the app and downloading the tour was not too difficult. BUT, note that in the current version (Nov 2019) of the app, it appears that everything is downloaded quite quickly because all 4 elements receive a ‘tick’ beside them. There is no other feedback on screen, and only a cancel button is available. You must wait, despite the 4 ticks being completed, until the cancel button changes to complete (or whatever the text was). We had stability issues with the app on 3 different models of iPhone, where the app would crash out, one losing its downloaded files. We persisted and were satisfied with it all ... but it was not smooth.

Skip the line ok but not essential

The time of day, that we went was not busy at all. Hence, the skip the line wasn’t needed. We also downloaded the tour on our iPhones, but we still apparently required wi fi. We therefore didn’t use the audio, which was disappointing.

Dear customer, we are sorry that the included ticket did not prove useful on the day and time that you visited. As you understand, it is impossible to predict whether there will be people queueing or not on a specific day and time. We see that there was an issue with your audio guides. We apologize for that. Normally, once the tours have been downloaded, the app requires no internet connection to access the tours. It even works in flight mode, we have this functionality because we are aware that there is no internet access at most sites and museums. Please send us an email so we can look into your case and make things right for you. We do not like the idea that you did not get to use our product. We really believe that you would have liked it and it would make your visit to the site much more interesting and informative!
