Itinerary
Begin your half-day tour with a pickup from your central Athens hotel or at a central meeting point.
Hop inside your comfortable, air-conditioned coach and admire the scenery as you travel along the coast to Corinth.
Stop to see the Corinth Canal, the narrow, 19th-century canal that links the Saronic Gulf of the Aegean Sea with Ionian Sea.
Take snaps here and then continue to the archaeological site of ancient Corinth, an important trading city in Greek and Roman times that stood at the meeting point of southern and northern Greece.
Here, enjoy time to explore the ruined temples, bathhouse, forum, and theater, and see the bema—a stone platform where it’s believed St Paul once stood in front of gathered judges.
As you stroll around the sun-baked relics, stop to soak up wonderful views over the Saronic Gulf in the distance.
Afterward, return to your coach and enjoy a short stop at the seaside town of Kehreai. Your trip then ends at the original starting point in Athens.

Our tour guide Vicky was wonderful. Her knowledge in the Apostle Paul’s involvement regarding Corinth was enjoyable to hear and reading the Biblical account of his ministry coinciding with this experience is very picturesque.

Guide was amazing and gave a wonderful, historical tour. She answered our questions and the site itself was amazing.

The tour took longer than expected, due to traffic, which obviously couldn’t be helped. Great tour otherwise. We traveled with a 4 yr old and a 20 month old so the bus ride was a little long for them. Our guide was very nice and informative.

I loved this tour. The guide Maria was fantastic and so knowledgeable. It was easy to arrange the pick up right near my hotel.

Nice trip to Corinth. Quite amazing when you think that St Paul lived, work and preached here 2,000 year ago. Nice get away from the hustle and bustle of Athens. Tour company seemed a little disorganized and we did not have the benefit of the earphones to listen to our guide but still very informative when we could hear and understand.

Gave us an opportunity to go to the agora at court, where Paul would’ve spoken to the Corinthians did a very nice job of explaining things in the museum

Fantastic tour. We saw many sites besides those listed. My only wish would be if we could have stopped to take pictures. The stops were amazing. The guide gave great information and details. One of my favorite tours ever!!

Elena (I believe) was our guide and Nikos the driver. The trip was amazing and I learned quite a bit about Corinth despite going there twice before! It was fun having rapport with the guide over my Ελλάς hat! I would possibly suggest a bit more Bible/Paul content given the nature of the location but that’s just me given that’s an interest of mine! Thanks for the fun trip!

It was fascinating to see and learn about the ancient part of a city where St. Paul lived and interacted with the people during the beginning of Christianity. I had not previously known about the Corinth canal so it was also interesting to see and hear about its history.

The tour guide was very informative. The drive was long, but we knew that going in. The traffic was awful getting out of Athens and back into Athens, so it took longer than expected, but that’s not the tour company’s fault. Also, it was very crowded at the archeological site and the museum. Again, though, not the tour company’s fault, All in all, the tour was okay.

I can recommend this tour in ways that I could not recommend the Acropolis tour. There are not a lot of slippery steps. Not a lot of rushing. Plenty of time to breathe in information and to go on your own. Kudos!

Our short stop at the Corinth Canal was very interesting. Seeing the magnificent remains of the Templo of Apollo and ancient Corinth where Paul preached was certainly worth the trip. However, our guide, while she seemed knowledgeable, showed no concern for one of our defective listening devices. She did not carry any extra devices and replacing the battery did not help so it was impossible for one of us to hear what she said as she moved from place to place. The intense heat prevented us from moving quickly to get closer, but again, she didn't care. We finally figured out ourselves that the problem was the listening cord connection, so she reluctantly found another one (without saying a word), but it was pretty much too late and there was never an apology. Consequently, we basically paid for transportation without being able to hear and appreciate the history of the site. I am very disappointed that Viator would have a guide who did not care whether someone heard her or not and could not solve the equipment problem.

Very professional and knowledgeable guide. The tour is well planned. The guide also goes in with you to visit the sites and provide context and detailed explanations, which was excellent! All in all a great experience.

'Vicky" was an incredible tour guide. I was able to learn so much about the history in Greece as well as the city of Corinth. She also shared passages of the Bible and how they connected to the locations and culture at the time. Touring the museum with Vicky was also fantastic as she shared additional stories and info throughout. I am SO thankful I went! I was hesitant as it was cheaper than other Biblical tours of Corinth and I am so glad I made this choice.

Corinth Canal was beautiful. Also learning about the Bema in the Agora was very good. We are inspired to read more about these sites.

Great way to spend half a day Corinth Canal was very interesting, the archaeological sites were also. Our Guide probably went into a little bit too much detail... brain overload but overall an enjoyable bus trip and tour.

Our guide Joy was amazing! She had a wonderful energy and amazing knowledge of the mythology and history of the ancient city. Her narrations were as equally impressive as the majestic Temple of Apollo. The site is fantastic and the small museum is modern and well maintained. Would definitely come back!
