The food was amazing and our guide was great. Had a wonderful cheese platter at one stop and a full meal at another. Got to walk around and see temple of Apollo by night and heard history along the way. Great night out!

This tour went even better than I expected. Our guide, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable about the town, its culture, and its food. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, you’ll be walking through charming streets and making several stops.
Our first stop was at an authentic cheese shop, where we sampled a variety of cheeses and wine while Alex shared the fascinating history of cheese making in Naxos. Next, we visited the famous church in town, a beautiful and peaceful landmark.
After that, we enjoyed an authentic dinner featuring cheese, fresh bread, stuffed peppers with rice and meat, and delicious local wine. We also explored a charming jam shop, and finally ended the evening at a liquor store offering an array of candies, oils, and traditional Naxos liquor.
This final stop was my favorite part of the tour. Thank you, Alex, for making this an unforgettable experience!

We had such a fun time on this delicious food tour. Especially if you are staying outside of Naxos, this is a great option because they will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or Airbnb in a very comfortable sprinter van. Our guide, Alex, made the whole tour! He was so friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He made sure to make everyone feel included, including my elderly mother and child. He was also flexible and thoughtful, making tweaks to the tour to find the best routes for my mom to walk since she uses a cane and stopping at different shops to make sure we were able to bring home our favorite food souvenirs.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon and our first night in Naxos we went on this tour. Such a great start to the trip. Our guide was amazing and we got to learn so much about the history of Naxos. He takes you to multiple different stops and shows you around the old town. Definitely recommend! The food was AMAZING!

We are on our honeymoon & booked this tour our first night in Naxos. It was great to be guided around & hear the history of the island as well as taste all of the local cuisine. The guides were so nice and so knowledgeable. Couldn’t recommend this more!

Had a really amazing experience. We got to try Naxos cheeses and wine. Our guide, Spyros, taught us so much about the beautiful island of Naxos, and we got to eat authentic Greek food which was soo so good. It was an amazing experience and Spyros does such a great job. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

The description of this trip was terrible. Reading the description, we thought we were going on a tour of a private restaurant, having a tour of the restaurant, but we were not. We were picked up, brought to a public part of the island and to a restaurant with 100's of other people in it. It was not a private experience at all. We could and should have just went into the town on our own and found a restaurant to go to, again, on our own. This was a really stupid experience and a big waste of time and money. Never again!

Alex, our tour guide, was an absolute delight and we had so much fun tasting and eating a variety of cheeses, condiments and a yummy dinner. Alex explained the history and background of Naxos and its foods, and took us into the castle region where we were amazed at the views and the labyrinth of pathways. If you want a personalised and tasty tour of Naxos, I highly receommend this tour!

Our Guide Alex shared his outstanding knowledge of history of the town and castle and directed us to some wonderful establishments to sample the food.
Alex was well-informed, friendly and professional, and showed us a great time! The food was excellent and we enjoyed learning about the history of the castle and the town.
Alex and George were both friendly and informative, and I'd highly recommend even for anyone with children to take this tour.

Alex was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and personal and provided us with a wealth of history and information about Naxos.
We meandered through the alleys and streets of Chora MUCH more extensively and efficiently then we had been able to do on our own! He guided us to little gems they we never would have found without him. I love visiting the different shops and tasting their products. There was just 2 of us in our group and it was great; however, this would be perfect for groups traveling together as well!

Great way to learn about Naxos history in a simple way with our private guide Alex! We had walked trough Chora the night before but the experience was so different to have someone guide us through the historical side of this beautiful village. Alex was very knowledgeable and has a beautiful sens of humour! We shared a delicious dinner and headed to 2 more stops. The marmalade shop was cute, the owner very pleasant! And the Kitron store was intersting to get a taste of their local liquor and how they make it without going on a big trip to the distillery.
I would recommend this adventure to anyone who want to learn a little more about Naxos but dosent want to sit in a bus with 40 people.

We were 7 women ages 43-71 traveling together, and every single one of us LOVED this tour, and LOVED our guide, Alex. They picked us up in a luxury Mercedes van and drove us to the first stop for wine and cheese tasting. A fight almost broke out over the delicious cheeses as we gobbled them up and everybody bought something. The wine is also excellent! From there, you walk through Old Town Naxos stopping at scenic spots and overviews for photos, to the castle. Your guide gives you some history of the town and castle, then on to dinner. Don’t worry! There is some steep terrain, but none of us had a problem with the walk. We all enjoyed it very much. The dinner was a traditional family style Greek dinner that again, was DELICIOUS!! Before loading in the van and heading home, you walk back through town and end the evening raising a glass of Kitron together!!! Just WONDERFUL!!!

We had a wonderful time with Alex ! Very attentive and engaging. The little shops we stopped at were so much fun Cheese store awesome and accommodating. Dinner choices - excellent! Would suggest putting in your description of tour - walking quite a bit and uphill with steps ! That was unexpected. Otherwise very glad we booked

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time with Alex seeing the sights and tasting amazing food throughout town. From different cheeses, a full traditional meal and samples of jellies and marmalade we were pleasantly stuffed and learned so much about the Greek culture! Alex was a joy to spend time with❤️ Highly recommend this tour to get a lay of the land in Naxos!!

We had a wonderful private evening tour of Naxos. From pick up to drop off everything went really smoothly. I’d recommend this tour for anyone looking for a combination of history, walking, food and culture that doesn’t take the whole day. We were picked up at 6pm, so we got to see the town during the day when it wasn’t too hot, experience the sunset and end with a stroll and drop off in the night. Our guide and driver we’re the perfect hosts. It was time well spent.

Incredible experience. Alex really made this what it was. The food was excellent, although we could have found the locations ourselves. However, Alex’s knowledge, wit, and photography created a wonderful time. We were on our honeymoon, but it felt as if Alex was a longtime friend who really wanted to show us around Old Town Naxos. I would highly recommend this experience, especially if Alex is the guide!

Our guide, George, was wonderful. He provided insights into the history of Naxos as we walked the Old Town area. The highlight was the dinner of traditional Naxian dishes. Every item on the menu was delicious! I would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide not only took us to places that had local & authentic foods, but also threw in a little history on a short walk in the old town. We were only a group of 2 and had the undivided attention of the guide. It was well done.

We enjoyed walking around Naxos and learning it's history. Spyros was very kind and professional. He adjusted the pace to accommodate us. The highlight was the stop at a restaurant, sampling some of Greece's favorite foods. It was a wonderful end to our evening. I would highly recommend this tour.
