This is the biggest scam ever!!! So you never actually have a ticket even though you have paid and booked the time. You meet a guide with other people and they walk you to the line to wait to enter the tickets, the line will be a minimum of 2 hours (They will say 40mins). Look for the yellow sign where it shows you are waiting in the line with everyone else who doesn't have a ticket. The guide will stand with you and then go and buy the ticket for you which there is nothing stopping you from buying yourself. We had another couple behind us who had just entered the line and told us that you can just enter on your own you do not need a guide so they are profiting off you for something you can do yourself. The guides are very nice and very friendly but I would be when someone is paying me for doing nothing. Only buy the tickets from the Vatican itself as they are much cheaper and if you haven't then just get to the line early in the morning and you will get in. Maybe consider why the times for this tour are always late in the evening is because they will go when there will be less people because the museums shut not long after so you are basically going in for a very short time and getting profited from. It is honestly so bad and I really can't understand how this has good reviews. I don't normally write reviews because everyone has there own opinions so I let people experience for themselves but for this I couldn't let people kill hours of their time away especially when it might be a city break and every moment for things like this is crucial.
