What an amazing experience! Ernesto was a great truffle hunter along with his puppy. They managed to find us TWO black truffles! He was very informative on how to find them, caring for the area, and how training the dogs worked. I would definitely recommend anyone join Ernesto on a truffle hunt. You might not find one, but the company, information, and of course the dog will make it worth while! He also set up a reservation at a local restaurant for us to take our truffles to!

We had the most incredible time truffle hunting with Giovanni and his sweet dog, Brio! From the moment we arrived, Giovanni’s knowledge and passion for truffles and the local land made the experience both educational and fun. Brio was the star of the show—such a smart and adorable truffle hunter, and so gentle and friendly with all of us!
The highlight was not only finding beautiful truffles together, but also receiving Giovanni’s fantastic recommendation of a nearby restaurant where we could enjoy one of the truffles we discovered. It was such a special and authentic touch that made our day truly unforgettable.
If you’re visiting the area and want a genuine Tuscan experience, this is an absolute must. Highly, highly recommend! 🍄🐶✨

We had most amazing experience with Ernesto and his dog! He is sooo passionate about truffle hunting and it makes whole encounter a lot of fun. She found 5 winter truffles for us. This was a highlight of our trip to Tuscany. Ernesto also suggested and booked us a restaurant where they can use our truffles for our dinner. Just perfect.

such a great experience with Ernesto, we found 4 truffles, learned a lot about truffles and truffle hunting, and Ernesto accommodated us and our 4 month old infant very well by planning an easy walk and taking breaks when we needed it, highly recommend doing this!

Ernesto and his dog Tufo were so nice and helpful! He picked us up at our hotel and drove us about 20 minutes outside of Siena to the woods. We were not hiking deep into the woods though, so tennis shoes and jeans were fine to wear. Tufo found a few truffles for us and the total time actually hunting was around 45 minutes or so, so perfect to experience it without walking around in the woods all day. The truffles were very large! Erne even called a local restaurant in Sienna and made reservations for us where they would use the truffles for our dinner. We didn’t know what to order, so the chef suggested a 4 course meal with wine pairings and used just one of the large truffles for the entire meal (shaved on top of 4 dishes for two people). This was an amazing experience and helps you get out of town and seeing historical buildings to see the countryside with a local. Erne was super helpful in giving us tips for what to see and where to park and answered all of our questions. 100% worth the money and an amazing experience!

Ernesto & Giovanni provided an absolutely amazing experience! the truffle hunt was fun, educational and exciting! The fellas ensured I had a great understanding of each step in the process, and answered any and every question I had! The real star of the show was Tufo, as he showed off his amazing truffle hunting skills! It’s amazing to watch as Tufo sniffs out each forest gem. His enthusiasm, as well as that of Ernesto and Giovanni was infectious and I couldn’t help but join in on congratulating Tufo with each find! Then to add to the joy, the fellas knew a local restaurant in Siena I could bring the fresh truffles that night to have them prepared. Could you ask for anything better? I can’t wait to visit again!
