We thought we paid for three wineries including lunch because that’s how the company advertised it. Turns out we paid over $400 for the bus to drive us to one winery for an hour, and bring us back to the same winery we had to meet them at for lunch and a tasting there. They said if we wanted to go to the third winery, we’d have to pay an additional $75!!! What a rip off! I could have driven myself for free and found a way better lunch. I will never book with this company again. The only good thing was the host of bus, Calvin, was nice. Otherwise that it was a waste of money.

Our Sunday Special Advertises the following: What's included: 1. Driver, tour guide, transportation, & bottled water on bus and during lunch. 3. FREE Lunch valued at $20 4. All Fees and Taxes What's excluded: 1. Gratuity is not included The Sunday Special is a 3.5 hour tour and is tailored for anyone who wishes to spend just enough time at 'Only 2' wineries. The person leaving this misleading review had 3 people in her group, so the $75 extra that she is referring to is for an additional 3rd stop ($25 per person). Had she opted for it, it would have included a 20 minute wine and production tour plus 6 wine tastings. I am not sure what people are expecting to pay for such an experience, but $25 is what the wineries charge and if you find that $25 is unreasonable, then I would recommend to anyone reading this response to not visit wine country because that is what it is going to cost (at the minimum) at any winery you decide to visit. Lastly, and again, this person paid for 3 people, so the $400 she spent for wine tastings at 2 wineries plus lunch was a mark-up in price by Viator. When you purchase a tour through a 3rd party platform like Viator, they charge their own fees for using their website. If you book directly with Socal Wine Tours in Temecula, you will save about twenty percent off the ticket price. Regardless, whether 3 people booking any all-inclusive wne tour with lunch included pay $340 with us directly or $400 with Viator, the pricing is certainly not unreasonable. Temecula Wine Country is a premiere destination in southern California, where people come to experience quality wine and food, so please be prepared to spend a reasonable amount of money when you come because it is certainly not going to be cheap.
