If you're on the fence about this activity...DO IT. I am not artistic and felt a little hesitant to try this. But our instructor Doug (and the safe and comfortable set up of this studio) make it a breeze. Even without natural talent, this was a fun and playful activity that I would totally do again.

The glass bead making class was super fun! It was easier than I expected and it was a cool new thing to learn. Doug was an awesome teacher, he explained everything really well and was easy to follow. He was also really supportive and very kind and helpful!

We had a great experience making glass beads. Doug explained the process so we'll and monitored our progress to give us feedback to make our experience a success. In about an hour, we each made 5 personal beads. It was fun and educational!!!

What a great experience with great instructors! Perfect for our girls trip and it was fun seeing how our beads turned out the next day. We had a blast at the studio and everything was very safe. Loved the high ratio of instructor to student as it can be kind of tricky at the start to remember everything but once you get the hang of it, it’s fun and easy. We all said how it inspired us to do this once we were at home. 11/10, would recommend!

Me and my friend took a day trip to Sedona, and I booked this activity since we have never tried anything like it before. We had a blast making these beads and the shop itself is very fun to take a look around! Our instructor Doug was super helpful and thorough in explaining what we need to do to create the beads, how to stay safe, and gave demos so we could see what other bead shapes/designs we could do. After the demos you can create as many beads as time allows, and Doug was very hands on so we never felt lost or if something wasn't going right he was always available. We live out of town and weren't able to pick up the beads next day, but the shop was able to ship them out to us for $10, which is worth it to me. I would definitely do this again/recommend to try it!

Great experience even if you are just a beginner. Doug was so thorough giving the safety instructions and demonstrating how to make a bead. He stood close by and offered encouragement and assistance if it was needed. So many colors to choose from! We picked up the beads the next day because they have to cool in a special chamber. This was my second time at this class and I will do it again when I am next in Sedona.

My family and I had such a great experience learning how to make beads out of glass. Class was instructed by Doug who was wonderful in demonstrating and assisting us afterward. His knowledges of the process and science behind each step was very impressive. We would definitely go back soon. The beads were mailed to us packed neatly and securely once they cooled down. It arrived within a few days. Melting Point has great customer service and very friendly artistic people working there. We are very please with our experiences.
