Yesterday was our third trip to the Grand Canyon. The first one was on a large tour bus from Las Vegas, and we only got to stop at on site to view it. We were impressed, but didn't know what else to expect. The second time we drove ourselves from Las Vegas to The Sky Walk. Really enjoyed that. However, yesterday we did a guided tour, with 6 passengers, from Sedona. It was The Comprehensive Grand Canyon Tour from Sedona, bookthrough Viator. The itinerary was excellent, but our guide, Sheldon, was far above excellent. He knew the best places to see certain sites, as well as the best times to be there to avoid large crowds. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. Our first stop was at Sunset Crater Park, a volcanic site. We actually walked for 30 minutes through a lava field! Second stop was at Lomaki Ruins National . Monument, where we hiked to a handful of ancient dwellings. Cameron Trading Post was our shopping/lunch stop. He planned it so we got to the restaurant well ahead of the huge crowds that came while we were eating. Giant Navajo tacos! Finally arrived at The Grand Canyon. We stopped numerous times and places for extensive viewings. If we ever return, we will definitely book this tour, with Sheldon.

Very knowledgeable tour guide made the day worth it. We did not feel rushed at all. Very well organized
Our tour guide Brian was a wealth of information about the area. We had ample time in each area to take photos & see the stunning sites. We drove through Sunset Crater, stopped at the Wutpatki dwelling (and learned a lot about the people), stopped at the Cameron Trading Post to shop & eat, & we then went to the Grand Canyon. He made multiple stops at different a points along the east/South Rim. (Though we were trying to out run the thunder storm). We spent an hour near Grand Canyon Village & were able to see so much.
This was a wonderful full day of touring with Ezra! He was so knowledgeable! Stopped several places along the way, delicious lunch at Cameron Trading Post, wildlife, great views!
Would highly recommend it, especially with Ezra!
J.R. was a very knowledgeable and entertaining driver. We got to see amazing views of the canyon while avoid the largest crowds. The Wupatki National Monument was a nice addition to the tour, along with lunch on the Reservation. A busy and rewarding day.
Opportunity to see many lovely spots on the way to the Grand Canyon and several scenic stops at the Grand Canyon. A full day of driving that we didn’t have to do!
Great full day going to the Grand Canyon. We came from Sedona. Viator tours never disappoint. Highly recommend
Tour with Max, very knowledgeable and informative. Had a small group of nine. He made our first trip to the Grand Canyon very memorable with many stops for different view points to make the most of our experience.
We all had a wonderful time, and our tour guide, Brian was extremely knowledgeable and told wonderful stories.
Great tour guide
Very knowledgeable and fun
I was thrilled to finally get to the Grand Canyon. The group had a good time. 🌞.

This was our first time in the Sedona area, so a guided tour up to the Grand Canyon was at the top of our "gotta see" list. We were incredibly fortunate to have Bobby V. as our driver/guide. He provided us with plenty of stories and background that made the experience go well beyond a basic sightseeing tour. His good nature, humor, and cultural/historical insights helped us better understand what we were seeing and why it is important. The tour included time to walk through Pueblo ruins, talk briefly with park rangers, and, of course, witness the incredible vistas of the Grand Canyon. We didn't have the best weather (breezy, cloudy, and occasionally drizzly), but it was a great experience nonetheless. It's a day-long tour with plenty of restroom breaks and opportunities to purchase snacks and lunch. Highly recommend this tour—and if you can get Bobby as your guide, that's a big bonus!
Our guide Mark was the best. Very knowledgeable, non bias narrative .
Great lunch at Cameron outpost.
The tour guide was very informative and accommodating. The van was comfortable and we enjoyed stopping at the volcanic crater and Pueblo also.
The Grand Canyon was magnificent!! A must see tour if visiting Arizona.
It is so much easier than driving yourself.
The tour guide was excellent. He is a native of the area annd had a lot of personal information about the area. And seeing the Grand Canyon was truly GRAND.
Everything was excellent and the driver was awesome. Nothing to complain about and no concerns. I highly recommend.
Wonderful trip, colorful trees on the way up to Flagstaff/seen some animals. Our guide was very informative and recommended best steak in town. Many views of the canyon just perfect.
Our tour guide provided us with alot of information about the Grand Canyon and was very engaging. He pre-ordered lunch for us so the wait would not be long when we arrived at the restaurant. It was a great day knowing someone else would get us around the canyon in a timely fashion.
Our tour driver, Chip, is a marvelous guide! He made the journey fun and memorable, even when our first Canyon stop was disappointing because of fog. But Chip’s sunny and positive manner seemed to change the weather and all turned out terrific! Thank you Chip! It turned out to be a Good day!
Tour was amazing! Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made each stop along the way a great and memorable experience. Plenty of great stops and views.
This was a great trip for those who prefer to sit back and let someone else do the planning and the driving. I give it four stars only because I was really looking forward to the advertised 30 min watch tower stop, and it didn't happen (there was never a very clear reason about why we didn't stop there)
Sheldon was amazing. The stops along the way to explore the volcano and ruins made the drive up to Grand Canyon even more fun
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and Arizona as a whole. Very interesting.
It was my first visit to Arizona. We stayed in Sedona and wanted to see the Grand Canyon…this tour was absolutely perfect! Our guide Andrea was very pleasant, knowledgeable and added a great perspective to our experience! We loved every minute!
Wonderful trip. Excellent and knowledgeable guide. Provided stunning views of the Canyon. Great lunch. Interesting histories of native people. Well worth the cost. Great trip for newcomers who dont want to deal with driving!
OMG Dominick was phenomenal!!! He knew where to go see the best sights , where to buy souvenirs and where to go eat. I would def re book with Dom
Sheldon did a great job. Relaxing way to see sights without the worry of driving. Glad i chose this method of travel.
Tour guide Charlie was fantastic. Terrific knowledge of the history, animal life, culture and geology of the area. The stops were well-spaced and timed and the views were all stunning. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and hope to come back with friends.
Tour guide Charlie was fantastic! Extremely well-informed on the history, animal life, and the geology of the area. The spots where we stopped were all awesome, well-timed and beautiful. I would do do this again in a minute if Charlie was the guide, and in fact hope to do so with friends.
The tour was wonderful it was just very long and the stops before the Grand Canyon could have been excluded to give more time in the Grand Canyon. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and drive was very enjoyable.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with our guide, Sheldon, who was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and was very accommodating to all the guests needs. He was kind, funny and interested in making sure that all of us had a better experience than we anticipated. We were amazed by the lava flow and the 900 year old ruins in the Painted Desert. We appreciate the opportunity to see the Grand Canyon from several different perspectives and enjoyed Sheldons explanations about all that we were seeing as we drove to and from the Canyon. We would highly recommend this tour, especially if you have just one day to learn as much as you can about the Grand Canyon and the surrounding area. April 2018
