Overall, my best friend and I enjoyed the murder mystery trolley tour and thought it was a fun, unique concept. The interactive storyline, talented actors, and live singing made for an entertaining experience, and it was clear that the cast put a lot of energy and enthusiasm into their performances.
That said, there were a few moments that made us uncomfortable. My best friend and I were the only African Americans on the tour, and some of the character portrayals and music choices felt tone-deaf. For example, hearing "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" performed in this context and the portrayal of a voodoo priestess by white performers felt insensitive rather than entertaining. While I'm sure there was no ill intent, these choices carried racial and cultural undertones that distracted from an otherwise enjoyable experience.
I share this feedback in the hope that the production team will consider how certain themes and cultural references may be perceived by a diverse audience. The mystery itself was clever, the cast was engaging, and the overall concept has a lot of potential. With a little more cultural awareness, I believe this tour could be even more enjoyable and welcoming for everyone.

What a fantastic evening!
My mom and I recently hopped aboard the Discover Sarasota Tours Murder Mystery Trolley, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped on the trolley, the energy was contagious, the actors stayed completely in character, and the audience was encouraged to become part of the story.
A special shout out to Tammy and her team for creating such a fun, interactive, and incredibly well-organized experience. You can tell a lot of thought and passion goes into every detail, from the storyline to the costumes and the way they keep everyone engaged and laughing throughout the tour.
Whether you're a local looking for something different or visiting Sarasota for the first time, this is one of those experiences you'll be talking about long after it's over. It's the perfect mix of comedy, mystery, sightseeing, and audience participation.
Spending the evening solving a murder with my mom made it even more memorable, and we're already looking at which tour we want to try next.

We had an evening of fun and laughter. The team of actors were exceptional and made it harder to guess which one of us did the murder.

thank you but we are not a dinner theater we are a trolley tour company. People eat dinner at a neighboring restaurant before they come.
This was an excellent experience! Everything from the little store, the cute, trolley, Getting to play a role, the amazing actors, the song and dance, and the overall good time!
I really enjoyed seeing the attendees act a part in the murder mystery. I did not know that I had to call ahead of time to secure a part, but I will do so for the next tour.

Great local talent, with a fun story, audience participation and an evening tour of Sarasota. Definitely a fun activity for a visit to the area.
We loved the interaction. It was amazing. We celebrated my granddaughter birthday
She loved being a part of it. All the characters really got into there roles. The music 🎶 was my favorite 😍 ❤️
The lady with the crystal ball. She had good jokes and her accent was great. Also the interaction with the guests.

The tour guide was pleasant and friendly . Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves on the trolley as they listened to the story. The “Ring master” held everyone’s interest and made sure the guests were involved. The performers were great and added comedy at the right moments. All excellent singers. The guests with speaking and performing parts seemed to have a lot of fun becoming immersed in the story. The trolley was comfortable. I would recommend this tour/event to anyone (use discretion with very young children due to some innuendo).
