This is a very good tour that is easy to walk and fills in a lot of the easy things to overlook in Santa Fe. The topics include the history of the area, the topography, the architecture, construction techniques, the food and the culture. It was very informative and well presented. Victor did a wonderful job of guiding the participants and it is clear that he has a lot of pride in his work and it reflects in the overall effectiveness of the tour.

I was very disappointed with our guide's conduct during this tour. He admittedly was recovering from a cold yet continuously touched participants on their hands, shoulders, and faces. The tour guide was violating personal space and caused me to get sick. At one point, he inappropriately grabbed and yanked my arm for no apparent safety reason. Additionally, he insisted on holding participants' phones without explanation for minutes at a time. He swiped through photo albums in plain view of other guests. Overall, the lack of hygiene, boundary crossing, and disregard for privacy made this an uncomfortable experience.

😂 David, I expected nothing less . Your lack of attention, professionalism, and tact, I stated I was getting over some intense, Fall allergies, I wore gloves and never touched your face ( nor anyone else else’s for that matter) as you were busy talking and making jokes about me making EVERYONE uncomfortable or constantly on your phone.
I grabbed your arm as you walked like you owned the town on the street and after a number of times to remind you to get off the street I actually tried to save your life from not getting hit by a car. And the only time I touched your telephone is when you asked me to take a photo of you and your wife or the special pictures I take of the staircase at the Loretto Chapel. As for swiping, I asked to see your photos that I had taken, so I can show the entire group trying to make you feel part of the tour and no offense, but i clearly had zero time to go through “albums” of your I’m sure boring life in photos.
Speaking of a lack of hygiene that breath of yours was atrocious, prompting one lady on the tour to offer them to everyone just so you would take a piece. Next time you should read your contract and understand that it is clearly stated that this is an interactive tour. InNew asked to participate if you wish not to participate, you should never booked an interactive tour. So I wanna Thank you for me and the entire group for making us feel completely uncomfortable all morning.
David, you you clearly didn’t like me at all with your zero respect for me, my stories, my time or my other guest and to write all this nonsense is not only offensive, but very disappointing.
We got a great introduction to the history and culture of Santa Fe. The walking was easy, and the pace just right.

Victor handled a large group well, but it was large enough to degrade the experience. His knowledge is deep, but jaded by his own judgment and need to make mysterious. Also, was a lot of money for such a large group.

A circuitous walk around the Plaza areas to learn about native culture, traditions and infrastrucure. A lot of history about the native tribes and the Spanish influence.
