We had a wonderful time and we did get to see whales. The weather was beautiful. Being on the water and enjoying the sea was great, the bonus was the sea life. I believe his name of the tour guide is Carlos, he was great and answered all question.

We had such an amazing time and we saw so many whales, sea lions and dolphins. We were lucky to have a group of sea lions and whales hunting for fish near our boat. It was an incredible thing to see.

The crew should HAVER NEVER taken us out the water was very very choppy due to the high winds, we took the early morning trip then we came to understand the later trip was cancelled. This was a terrible experience for the 5 of us. I will never book this again, my money should be refunded.

Our first responsibility is, and always will be, the safety of our passengers and crew. Before every departure, we carefully evaluate the marine forecast, wind, swell, tides, and real-time ocean conditions. Those decisions are based on decades of experience operating on the Central Coast.
We never operate if we believe conditions are unsafe, and we don't hesitate to cancel trips when conditions deteriorate or when we feel the experience will not meet the standards our guests expect. In fact, we would rather disappoint guests with a cancellation than take them out on a trip that doesn't reflect the quality of experience we strive to provide.
Ocean conditions can change quickly throughout the day. While the morning trip was safe to operate, conditions worsened later, which is why the afternoon departure was canceled.
We wish we had the opportunity to speak with you after the trip, as we would have appreciated the chance to better understand your concerns and discuss your experience directly.

Bring a warm layer. Be ready for potential choppy seas. Had a great time overall. Staff was great m, fun and knowledgeable. Got to see a ton of aquatic life. Boat might feel a little crowded

Boat crew were great! Obviously, need nature to play along, but it’s a very nice tour. Make sure to pack warm clothes (and gloves) as it can get quite cold out on the water.

Our experience was amazing! We saw approx 50 whales. They were feeding, playing and splashing around! Our guide Kai was amazing as well. He was so informative and just as excited as we were when we would see the whales. Highly recommended!!!

Great experience we saw a ton of humpback whales. The water was a little rough so if you have issues with sea sickness plan ahead!

Staff was very knowledgeable of the sea life and answered all of our questions. They were very attentive to guest with seasickness. We enjoyed seeing the whales and learning all about then. Great staff and great experience for our family!

It was great! The crew were extreme Friendly and did a great job at explaining their safety rules and going around to make sure we were all accounted for and stayed safe. My one advice to people who have never been on a boat before is research how to avoid getting motion sickness. The crew members will ask you if you get motion sickness and provide tablets for it, but that only helps so much. A lot of us (myself included. It was my first time) threw up from underestimating the motion of the ocean. But don’t let that deter you. Getting to see the whales up close was a great experience!

It started off good, the captain and first mate made their introductions, went through safety rules and had good energy. The first mate spent a little time telling us what we're looking as we were heading out into the ocean and then that was the last we heard from him for almost 3 hours. I get you can't control if we see any wildlife, but I expected some interaction and engagement. Bring us along the journey, give us updates on what's going on, where we're heading, what we're looking for. Teach us about the types of whales and sea life that come through here. I know they have it in them because we got that info about the sea lions as we were pulling back into the harbor.

You’re right that the experience should feel engaging throughout. During our trips, the primary focus is actively searching for whales and marine life, which requires constant attention from the captain and crew. At times, that can limit ongoing narration as we work to locate wildlife.

The crew was amazing and very knowledgeable. They were patient with the kids and super helpful when one was feeling sick. They made the experience Amazing! We saw whales dolphins and got to see whales breach. It was so fun.

No expectations of seeing a whale. That said the wild life and the ride seeing the beauty of the Pacific was totally worth it. We also saw whales they were so very cool, and Huge!

Look forward to a friendly and professional staff and crew… whales were hard to come by, but we did enjoy other wildlife ( various birds, otters and sea lions)
