I can’t possibly praise Mandy Davis enough! She was an absolute treasure of a resource, and knew the area like the back of her hand. First, she drove us less than 10 minutes away from the harbor, to a hike with an awesome panoramic view of Morro Bay and surrounding area. Along the hike, she told us the names of countless indigenous plants. She is a biologist and so intelligent. After the hike, she gave us a lesson on proper kayaking technique. Then, we had a lovely time on the water, seeing sea otters and sea lions and other wildlife. Mandy was considerate and thoughtful and patient. Best of all was the wealth of knowledge she shared with us!

      Great family experience.

Great family friendly experience. We took a hike to a pretty view of the estuary and learned about the flora and fauna of the region and then kayaked through Morro Bay and saw sea otters with their babies, sea lions, lots of birds.

We had a great time. Loved seeing the otters with their babies. Our guide was very knowledgeable. The hike was fun and easy. She was also a good teacher and the kayaking was fun.

A tour guide Amanda was very knowledgeable and provided both history of the area and insights about the estuary ecosystem which made for a very enjoyable experience.

      10/10 experience

Mandy is super knowledgeable and showed us a great time! My fiancé and I drove up to Morro Bay for a day and she taught us all about the region, flora and fauna, and animals during our brief hike and kayak adventure. She was communicative leading up to the day and kept us entertained the whole time. I’d definitely book again for an even longer tour and already recommended her to someone else! I appreciate how she fully customized the experience to what we were looking to do.

Our kayak and hike adventure was wonderful! Mandy is not only an experienced kayaker and hiker, but a certified botanist. She was able to explain the Morro Bay estuary and the flora and fauna throughout our kayaking and hiking adventure. She was very informative and very accommodating to what we wanted out of our experience. I would highly recommend this tour.
