This is not a ghost tour or even a historical event. This is a random guy who did his own research from home and brags about it and boasts his ego the whole time. He was very rude to my partner and I, and gave no indication of being a professional what’s so ever. We were expecting a guide with enthusiasm for storytelling and a personality. As well as a guide with some experience with history, and could interact with guests and not have fake “spooky” moments where he would just try to sound convincing about something he did a quick Wikipedia rsearch on for 5 minutes. I wish I could get my money back, I left 10 minutes into the tour because we quickly felt uncomfortable and disappointed and didn’t want to waste our time.

Melinda was a wealth of knowledge! My parents, husband, and I had a lot of fun. She was able to answer any question and was genuinely interested in the stories of the tour. I've been visiting SLO for over 30 years and didn't know any of these stories. Great ghost tour for those who have never done one (like my parents) or those who seek them out in every city (like me and my husband).

The tour is full of history, crime and a little gore. Our guide, Justice, was genuine in his interest and had really done his research. He was patient with our questions and knew the answers

Our guide was nice, smart young kid but you can tell he’s new to the touring gig. We tried to stay engaged but his story telling was just all over the place. We were also expecting a group tour but it turned out to be just my husband and I. Wish we would’ve known ahead of time as we wouldn’t have booked a 9pm tour alone.

Lexi was a very good ghost guide. Her friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of San Louis Obispo made the night fly by. We initially had trouble finding the meeting point because the address was a restaurant and the only description other than the address was "fountain" . We asked many locals and they didn't know where the location was. We attempted to call the operator but there was no answer. We finally found the fountain but the guide was waiting at a different location. We were told (after she found us) that different booking companies provide different pick-up points. We walked all over downtown SLO before the walking tour even started. The pick-up point should have just said "Mission SLO Main Entrance" so there was no ambiguity in location. I would recommend this tour and Lexi in particular. She was wonderful.

Our tour was cancelled via email last minute. We still received text telling us to show up. When we called they said it was indeed cancelled and we would be refunded. We never got our money back.

When I learned that the tour had 18 people registered for one guide, I was skeptical that the guide would be able to speak loud enough to keep everyone engaged. As it turned out, Lexie was able to lead us along a path of murder and mayhem in SLO’s history just fine. I don’t think I’ve seen a guide make a large group seem so intimate. My husband and I had a fun time, and we learned some of the history of the town we were visiting. Thanks for a fun night! Would recommend this tour!

Visiting SLO from LA and signed up for this experience. Our tour guide, Emma, was so nice and accommodating. She would talk to every family to ask how much she should censor for the child. (Our 10-year-old was with us but he could handle it.) She presented facts and stories with humor. We had a great time with just the right ounce of creep.

The tour was very informative. I've lived in the SLO area for over 40 years & still learned a lot! I've even worked at the court house and learned about a true crime that happened there I never knew of. And our guide Lexi was fantastic!
Only wish there had been more haunting content.
