Cave was very warm, but enjoyed it!
Very interesting, tour guide was knowledgeable and shared good information.
The web site to purchase a ticket was very confusing. I did not know that there were several Caves to visit. I wanted the one closest to Boerne, the Cascading Cave. I noticed NO REFUNDS on all the caves. I bought what I thought was a ticket to Cascading Cave. When I showed up there I was told that my ticket was NOT for their cave. I immediately attempted to stop payment, to no avail!
I can’t be the only person who gets caught in this error! Create a web site that is clearer.
Its was amazing the formations are unreal big and so many formations one looked lile a king on a throne

The caverns are really nice and unique natural wonders, everyone should visit them. The price increases in the last years but is a 1 time visit experience.

Although we were only able to visit one of the caves we still had a great time.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing but closed toe shoes, preferably non slip because the cave is wet and moist, you can slip if you don’t have right shoes on. The cave was amazing, and our guide was very detailed, she shared in depth. Be prepared to be under ground for about an hour and half depending on your guide. There was some narrow and low heights so watch your head.
David is an excellent a tour guide. Beautifully kept grounds. It’s a light/medium hike approx. .5 mile some steep areas but there are plenty of benches and handrails. There are several nice shops and other activities to do as well.
The caves were superior. Parts are more strenuous-some folks had trouble with the steep climbs. We thought there were far too many people in our tour group. The guide was mediocre-no personality. Sometimes she started talking before everyone could gather. It was easy to take an Uber from downtown San Antonio!
Definitely wear gym shoes with good traction, and be aware of dripping water! It is a lot of walking, especially in steep areas, so if your endurance isn’t the best just take your time.
The guide was very informative and patient. It was very steep in some areas and narrow in parts so some people would definitely have difficulties on the tour.
This was a beautiful hike down & through the caves. We had a great tour guide to teach all about the origin & progress of the discovery of these cave rooms. We were fortunate to see wayer flowing through due to the recent heavy rains. You need good shoes & be prepared to be dripped on.
I'd return again in cooler weather if possible.

Extremely interesting. We went on a slightly different tour due to the amount of rain in the area. It was amazing and our tour guide was very knowledgeable about all the things in the cave.
Absolutely beautiful scenes amazing stuff unbelievable customer service. Concierge over price parking should be free after you pay for the tickets but overall we recommend to France and families. Thank you for the great experience.
Dress casual, and wear tennis shoes or hiking boots.... plan on getting a drizzle of water on you... and get ready for a fantastic experience with a beautiful view of the cavern. Each room is extraordinary.... also the tour guide was patient and professional and very informative.
We actually put in the wrong directions and got there six minutes late for our tour, and the check-in attendant was so accommodating and quickly found our tickets online and escorted us down to catch our tour at the very beginning of the entrance...
Everyone working there was very helpful, including the gift shop.
Enjoyed eating ice cream while sitting outside on one of the benches, enjoying the view on the outside of the cavern.
We were in Santone for seven days and this was the highlight of our trip. We would definitely recommend this to singles, couples and families so much to do there and so much fun.
To reiterate, the cavern is phenomenal and definitely one of God's masterpieces that everyone should see.
Hi. We just finished our tour and it was one of the worst experiences. Our tour guide started with a microphone in the first stop and never used it again. We were not able to hear her and she was mumbling whole time. We tried to get close to her as possible but her words were not exact and could not hear her clearly. We did not pick up any information and really hard to understand her.
I went on the discovery tour and it was amazing. They take you on a tour through the cave system and are given explanations on why certain formations are named what. Just a warning, there are some steep inclines (handrails provided) and some smaller areas to pass through if your taller. If you want a more interactive experience, there are other tours that may be interested to you.
A chance to see an amazing part of God’s creation. Staff are very friendly and grounds are beautiful.
It is a beautiful cave. There was only one short stretch where it narrowed. It was mostly vast and open and there were handrails at appropriate places. We loved the tour and guide.
Absolutely breathtaking formations. I have been to several caverns but this one topped the list. Each room had its own uniqueness.
Great time, worth doing it. We enjoyed spending time together , and the informative tour was nice. The caves were very interesting, in my opinion easy to walk through. A couple spots were slippery but take it slow and there are railings in most of the tour.
Our guide was awesome and made it fun. And very Knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor! Kind and caring.

What a wonderful experience full of amazing sites and educational information. Our tour guide was amazing!
It was really interesting. I loved the information that was provided by the guides. My kids loved seeing the beautiful stalagtites. There were other activities near by. Could easily make this activity a whole day activity due to the other activities nearby.
It is a difficult hike if you are older and half issues walking up abd down hills. Guide had alot of good information
This place could early be 5 stars if they weren't hustling people before you even get in the door. Charging people $10 to park in your parking lot, that's only your parking lot and it's the only place you can park when driving from far away is so lousy and predatory for what area largely big groups of families trying to take their kids. Ridiculous.
But in regards to the Caverns, they are spectacular. I'm a very big dude and while a few places has me winded, you should be able to navigate this minus any series medical limitations. Really great history and so many natural features millions of years in the making. At the end they try to get you with another $40 for a set of pictures lol just take selfies inside
Don’t dress too warm, humidity is about 99%. Wear good walking shoes. No food or drinks allowed other than water. Other than that great experience and will definitely be back.
It was a great experience! Wear good shoes and be prepared to walk up inclines. It was .75 of a mile in total.
It was awesome. May get a little hot. Bring water.. lengthy walk with incline but it was worth it…You have to experience it!!! We learned so much.
