This tour felt very unorganised, the tour guide admitted that it was not her usual job. The lady had to meet us in the foyer and purchased the tickets whilst we were waiting, then we waited some more for something else. Then the tour finally started and the guide was annoyed at people for being in her way, openly saying things like ‘they’re in my way’ etc. just felt jumbled and rushed!

I was hoping for a more informative tour - I didn’t find the constant jokes interesting. I wish I had just walked through the Vatican on my own.

The best part of the escursion was learning the history of the Vatican. I would highly recommend anyone taking this tour to do it at night instead of the day,because it is two hot outside. Our tour guide was great and very informative. When we were done he gave us ab option on whether we wanted to go into the Sistine Chapel which was just amazing or go into another museum. Please ladies if you are going into the chapel Please make sure your shoulders are coveted and if you are wearing a dress it is past your knees They will not let you in.

This review is no reflection of the tour guide. She was good. The reception desk was also very good. The tour itself was disorganized. We were a large group and couldn’t hear anything at first as we tried to keep up with her through the streets. Then it was an hour of standing around. First on the street and then in the lobby while the organizer dealt with some man with an issue from another group. His family was able to go ahead because they were in another group. But we had to stand there while he was taken care of because he wouldn’t leave the tour operator alone until he got what he wanted. Finally an hour in we had our tickets and ear pieces. Because we lost so much time, it was very rushed. We had to work through crowds to keep up with the tour guide who was trying to make up time. Sometimes we even lost her in our ear because we were trying to catch up.

I do not recommend. 45 minute wait for our tickets. So much for skip the line. Very disorganized. Had to rush thru museum to have enough time in Sistine chapel.

This tour was okay, but a bit disappointing. My husband wanted to see the Vatican and we thought the night tour would be a good way to avoid the crowds. It was definitely less crowded than I’ve heard it is during the day, but there was still a lot of commotion to get in and our group was a lot bigger than I expected. It took about 30min to get us all organized and into the Vatican then we blasted through it in a little over an hour. For the size of the tour and the amount I learned, it wasn’t really worth it. Having said that, it sounds like not being on a tour and waiting hours to get in is far worse, so it depends how much you want to see the Vatican. I found it rather underwhelming for all the hype, but maybe it’s just not my thing?

The tour was good. The guide was friendly and informative. One thing to note is they tell you not to wear shorts and then you go there and everyone is wearing shorts. Dress comfortably it is very crowded and hot.

It’s a good basic guided tour, a bit too big ( around 15 people) but I’m not sure if you need it in Vatikan. I’m not sure if really the amount of people is less at evening time. I guess is the same. The minus of evening time is you cannot see the park of Vatikan - already closed. I was not so much excited of Vatikan Museum either, but it’s only my personal meaning. If I’d do the same one more time, I’d just book basic tickets. The experience we had in this excursion is a bit too expensive.

We were disappointed that when we reached out letting the operator know that we were running 4 min behind (due to heavy traffic in the area), we received a message from the company telling us they were leaving 2 minutes before the start time of the tour. we got to the business and was met with an unkind worker who told us they already left. we requested a refund, and it was rejected. the company said we were 15 min late, which was untrue. i don’t understand why a company takes money from people when the service wasn’t rendered. i don’t think this is how a business should run. at least a partial refund. 1/10 would not recommend based off these ethics.

Hit all the high points. Guide very informative sharing many details of the various halls we saw. Sistine Chapel was the highlight, disappointed no photos but saw people taking anyway.

Our tour guide was very detailed in the information she presented. We learned so much about the art that is located with in the museums and chapel. Lots of little facts and details were pointed out during out tour.

This tour is no where close to being a TWO hour tour. It took almost an hour to just get our tickets and tour audio box just to get started. Then we get up to the top and now have to listen to a very long winded tour guided giving a 45 minute talk about the "time in history"! There were other groups that got to the same area AFTER our group and left after only about 15 minutes of talking from their guide.
Myself and my friend do not walk very fast (I have a cane) and told our guide that when we arrived at our meeting point. She told us no problem, but she took off like a bullet. The ONE good thing from this, we had a small group of 8...but that didn't matter when there were hundreds of other people from other groups.
I will recommend to all of my clients to book a self guided tour as they will be able to go at their own pace.
We had taken so long to get started that we were then rushed through the museum which left us very little time in the Sistine Chapel. When we did get inside the chapel, we couldn't enjoy that time because all of those other groups were inside as well. There was no room to move around, no place to sit...all the benches were taken.
HORRIBLE experience.
