Asia was an incredible, caring guide who came to pick us up at our location first thing iEaster morning to then guide us to meet the rest of her tour group already in line at The Vatican security check point. It helped expedite the easy entry and getting to the seats quickly.
We were seated in a row that was close to the procession road where the Pope passes within arms reach. Could not have been closer.
I believe this is where the money is spent!!
The view from the seats was in close enough proximity to view the Mass without obstructions.
Asia gave us some historical information while waiting for the Mass to start to occupy the time.
It was an unforgettable way to spend Pope Leo XIV first Urbi et Orbi Mass.
The weather and tour was fantastic.

Plus: Our guide Nera(?) was amazing, she offered an immense amount of information and took us through the important things.
Cons: The pace in which we were herded through the museums and chapel was just too fast. There was no time to stop and admire or learn more or ask questions.
While I fully understand this is a guided tour with a group of people so stopping for each person at anytime would make the tour last forever, the comment has nothing to do with the guide as, again she was great, got us to all the "highlights"....just providing the information for any future visitors.

I purchased this tour as a gift to our friends who had never been to Rome before. When they exited after the tour, they told me that the guide, Steve, ruined this experience. He was very insulting and condescending. When they first checked in with a tour representative, they inquired about using a toilet and were told they could use one when they went inside for the tour. Once inside, however, they were told by the guide, Steve, that the toilet should be used only in case of emergency and participants should be able to "hold it"; he gestured by holding his private parts. This was offensive. He also talked too much and left very few minutes to be in the Sistine Chapel. In addition, he disparaged the French people, saying that Italians don't like the French and that he felt that way himself. This is totally inappropriate behavior for a tour guide. The provider of this experience -- "The Tour Guy" -- should ensure that his guides are considerate of the participants, courteous, able to impart information in a concise and interesting way, and respectful. I have booked several tours through Viator and never left a bad review, but this time I was embarrassed and very disappointed for my friends who had been looking forward to this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Absolutely magical evening at the Vatican Museums! My guide, Luka, was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. He taught us all so much about the art that I would have missed if I had gone on my own. The pace and organization were great and we got in quickly. I have done lots of tours around Europe and the US and this was by far the best one. Prefect paced, friendly guide and staff, and well run. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the Vatican in the evening.

Sublime. As a Catholic this has been more spiritual than sightseeing for me. We went back the next day to see Vatican City and St. Peter's Square as you could easily spend hours in the museums. It took us 4 hours to walk through. Not a tour, but get to see Santa Maria Maggiore. The hop-on, hop-off bus stops outside. Beautiful building and you can walk by Pope Francis's tomb on the left hand side of the Basilica.

It’s all about the guide. With a night showing you are limited to closing times. Our guide took over 30 min to describe Vatican City, the stair case, and what we would see in the chapel. Leaving minimal time to see the various rooms in the museum and 10 min in the chapel before we were made to leave due to closing time.

Our tour was great. You will need to meet beside the coffee shop across the road from the Vatican Museum entrance. Had to ask for directions so hope this helps.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and informative. She did not rush. Since was evening tour we had to spend through one area because of closing. But it had relics from another country. The art she was slow and meticulous at explaining the very details. Photos was able to be taken everywhere expect in the Sistine chapel. I was very impressed.
