Viator moved our time which messed up our schedule by an hour. The audio portion was booked in Italian which was the default language if no option was given. We were not given any option to choose English and assumed it was English because it did not state otherwise. Therefore when we arrived to get the audio tour, we could not do it and had to explore on our own. We will not book this tour again.

I arrive to the site where an operator was waiting only to be told all bookings via Viator for that day had been cancelled and i would receive a refund. I have heard absolutely nothing I may have to take it further

Viator is an amazing app to book all your tours with. Very easy to book and an very quick and smooth process when you arrive at your meeting spot for your tour. Remember to bring your ID with you as they suggest. Definitely will book another tour with Viator.

My 10:30 Vatican tour was cancelled for my group of friends. We had already taken a shuttle to Vatican City. We ended up paying for a second set of tickets for 11:30 and promised our previous money would be returned. I did not receive mine, though my friends did. Please reimburse me!!!

This was not a skip the line ticket i was told to wait in line with everyone else i waited 45 minutes until they let me in. I contacted the tour operator and they insisted it was skip the line but it was not. Additionally the ticket was 63 and when i got my ticket it stated the cost was 25 which is what they are sold for at the gate.

I would like to clarify an important point: Vatican Museums no longer offer true “skip-the-line” access for standard tickets. All visitors, including those with pre-booked timed entry, must pass through the security queue just like an Airport , which can take 10–30minutes depending on the day. This is managed directly by the Vatican and is the same for all agencies and tour operators.
Your ticket allowed you to skip the on-site ticket purchase queue, but not the mandatory security line, which is likely where the delay occurred.
Regarding pricing, the €25 printed on the ticket is the base cost charged directly by the Vatican. The remaining amount reflects:
Viator platform fees
Agency booking fees
Service and operational costs

Totally awesome not to be missed. Easy to enter and only had a short line through security. Definitely beats lining up in the heat for tickets. Glad we did the Vatican Museums first and then the Basilica as you would have been underwhelmed by the museum’s after the grandeur of the Basilica!

The night (9:47PM) before our tour they changed the time from 11AM to 2:30PM. They never sent the PDF with tickets. They did not respond to messages or phone calls. We called Viator whose calls to the tour operator also went unanswered. We were left without being able to go in. Thankfully Viator refunded the tickets.

I never got my tickets! I checked SPAM/TRASH. I reached out in advance and did not hear anything! I spoke with a Viator Rep who said all I could do was appeal and the meeting spot wasn't actually a spot. I will be calling for a full refund---there was no meeting--someone just took our money

This is a scam. I wish I could give zero stars. We purchased tickets and they were never sent as promised. Attempted to contacted them—no response. They wouldn’t respond to Viator either. Viator needs to remove this vendor immediately.

So beautiful, definitely worth seeing! Having a skip the line/prebooked ticket feels pretty essential. Walked right in, past huge lines of tourists. Inside is very busy but so much to see.

Viator charged us 100 dollars more than you'll pay at the ticket booth to get in then we still had to purchase an audio guide

If you book with an audio guide you will recieve it with the ticket . otherwise you have to purchase it inside the museums. Vatican tickets cost 25 euros and you can book from their official website if its available . Viator is not responsible for your own ignorance .

Great option for skipping the lines at the Vatican. Tour guide walked us right in and was very knowledgable about the Vatican.
Of course my favorite was seeing the Sistine Chapel. It is at the very end of the tour and we spent around 30 mins just sitting there and taking it in. Wpuld recommend if in Rome and want to see the Sistine Chapel.

It was very hard to make contact with the person who would exchange the vouchers for tickets, and in the end I had to text and ring the contact. Lots of other guides had very visible flags, but our person was no where to be seen, until I rang them, and then they were in a different place.
The tour eventually when we were taken in was good, but very crowded and because of so many people, and it was quite strenuous to walk round everywhere, and also included quite a lot of stairs which we were not expecting. The lady who took us infasttrack eventually was lovely though.
