Absolutely amazing!!! While it was a process to get on the dry suit and it was cold out it was all worth it. Once in the suit was not cold and believe it or not once in the water was not cold. My wife was nervous and a little anxious with all the gear in but once she got in the water that all went away and she loved it! The view and experience was out of this world. Our guide Kaya was awesome patient and attentive to our safety. Would do this again in a heart beat.

Know your limits for this excursion!!

Its one of a kind experience and so unique. However, you should know the dry suit was really tight and uncomfortable so much that my friend couldn't do it. She was asked to come out of the water. I highly recommend this tour to anyone is who is good in snorkeling and not afraid of water!!!

This was an amazing experience! Kaya our instructor walked us through each step with our equipment and then expertly guided during our snorkeling trip. Incredible experience snorkeling in the Silfra fissure. Our Dive Master Anil was very knowledgeable and very helpful in getting our dry suit and gear on. I was really nervous of the cold, but like everyone else has written, after a few seconds in the water you can't feel it. I wore two merino wool base layers, and 2 pairs of socks. I was very comfortable. If you like to snorkel or dive, or simply like adrenaline-filled adventures, do it! I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed this experience so much! Kaya was a perfect guide - always felt safe. The process of getting ready to get in the water is strenuous, but worth it. Remarkably, the only part of me to get cold was my face. But after a couple minutes, you adjust. Spectacular views and it was also unique to be able to take a drink of the water.

Snorkeling between the tectonic plates, awesome!

It was better than I expected. Ines, was fantastic. We were lucky to have 20 degree weather and I brought way to many under layers. The water is freezing, but only on you face. It's glacial fresh water, so no marine life, but the water is crystal clear and tastes so good. It is a must do while in Iceland.
