Please be ready at your chosen pickup point 30 minutes before your departure time. Our pickup vehicles are well marked with Reykjavik Excursions logo. In Reykjavik City Center, pick up directly from hotels is not permitted, therefore there are special bus stops within walking distance that are specifically for pickup/drop off for airport transfers and tours. For further information and to find which bus stop you should select for pick up, please enter your accommodation address in the search box of www.busstop.is. Please note, city center hotels aren’t included in the pick up list, you will need to select your closest bus stop number. You decide at the Blue Lagoon on your return time from the Blue Lagoon, here below is the timetable: From Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík: 13:15; 14:15; 16:15; 18:15; (20:15 from June 1.2026).

Although the description says the Premium Ticket includes "All Compfort Benefits" (which btw includes a non alcoholic drink) plus a bunch of other things, We were surprised when we checked out that the non alcoholic drink was not included and we were charged 2,052 kr or $16.66. Needless to say we were disappointed! The man said we would have to take it up with Viator. But BE AWARE!

Wonderful beginning to our Arctic adventure. Transportation was comfortable and efficient. Property was clean and all amenities were in good working order. This would have been a 5 star review had we not spent nearly an hour checking in. Very inefficient system and poor management oversight made for a disappointing first impression.

I was given a new meet up place but the url was not complete. Requested clarification and got a follow up after 12. Our bus left at 9. I figured it out, small port.
Nice ride to the lagoon. Once we arrived we should of been told to get in the shorter, fadter line as a prearranged ticket, rather than the ticketed line
The Blue Lagoon was so relaxing and the masks were fun to do. I did use conditioner prior to getting into the lagoon but i wanted to float. My hair needed a deep conditioning after the lagoon.
Showering prior to putting on your bathing suit took patience.
Overall a very woth while trip.

This was fun, we did the upgrade for the full package which we all thoroughly enjoyed. A very sort of surreals experience….make sure to go towards the far back pools, much less crowded and really able to just relax and enjoy the warm waters.
The transportation itself was sort of a let down, it was basically a bus picking up a bunch of different tour groups all at the same place and driving us to a large central station where we each got onto an appropriate bus for our particular tour. The biggest thing is to make sure to look at the return times for your bus, we just glanced at it and thought it looked like it was every hour….after enjoying ourselves for a few hours in the lagoon we were ready to leave. Once outside we looked to,see what time the bus would arrive and for some reason it ran every hour until 2 PM and after that ran every 2 hours…..we of course saw this at 230 pm so,we had quite a long wait.

Blue lagoon was a very nice experience. Given the option again I would pick the Sky Lagoon. The biggest issue we had was very poor communication regarding the transportation. We had selected a hotel and when we arrived there they told us to then go to a bus stop and look for Reykjavik Excursions. We waited and the only bus with that name said it was the wrong bus. We then called Viator and we were told to look for a different bus. When that came they said it too was not the right bus. Another bus came and had that not called our name I would have not even thought it was the right bus. Our tickets said 3 pm which we assumed meant our reservation at Blue Lagoon was for then. We arrived there about 4 pm which is when our experience happened.

One of a kind experience that is amazing! The milky blue color of the warm water is so inviting, and relaxing. The masks leave your face feeling clean and soft, and the walk up bar is delightful!

This is a must do for anyone coming to Iceland - the blue lagoon is surreal and am amazing experience, it was great for the adults and kids.

Didn't provide return ride instructions which required to get ticket at BSI in order to return to cruise ship terminal.

This is a magical place to visit. We did the premium experience and it was definitely worth it. Viator did an outstanding job of communicating every part of our excursion. The buses were super easy to find and we really appreciated the flexible return times.

This was amazing… so relaxing… there are a lot of people but when you are in the water you don’t feel crowded…we did the three different masks and my face still feels so soft… we spent four hours there…pickup & drop off directly from our hotel was nice… the only thing I didn’t like was the price…$800cdn…but it was something I have always wanted to do

We had the premium package which says you get all the comforts of the comfort package, it doesn't with regards to drinks. It reads that you should get one non alcoholic and one alcoholic drink. You get one drink or the other. Otherwise it's an awesome place to go rest in the nice warm water.

This was a wonderful experience. We had the premium package and were not disappointed. Everything from the soft robes to the beautiful lagoon was spot on. I would highly recommend. We were at the other “infamous” lagoon and this was so much better

We were on cruise, and booked outside of cruise excursion.
Unfortunately no one from tour company was at port to answer or direct to transportation. Left many ppl standing in rain with no one to ask.
We transferred to bus terminal and was easy process with about 1 hr ride to blue lagoon.
Blue lagoon is a must on the bucket list.
Book in advance!!!
Discount entrance fee for night if you have flexibility.
Comfort booking only includes towel, mask and drink.
Transportation is easy to get back and they took us directly back to ship with no transfer.

It’s great! Get at least the Premium package so you get to experience the face masks, they are wonderful!
Plan on a bit of time to get ready, make sure you check the pick up times (we missed a bus hand had to wait 1.5 hours for the next one). There is a nice cafe to wait in.

While Blue Lagoon spa experience and spa were excellent, Viator did not specify to us local tour operator. Although billed as 5 hour starting at 5pm with 1 hour drive each way last pickup had left before 9pm. Poor customer service and no communication from Viator.

Travel from the BSI terminal to the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon itself was relaxing and well run and as advertised. Keep in mind there are multiple bus terminals so need to make sure you know which one you are going to for the designated pick-up. The return has multiple stops so can take time depending on where you want to get off. We were fine with this instead of a taxi door to door each way, which would have been significantly more. We were good walking to BSI anyway as it got us exploring the city—we were in the Plaza area and was a 20-25 minute walk. Note that the transportation is just that. It is not a “tour” per se, as the driver is not giving history or other information about the area.

The blue lagoon was awesome, however the tranfer was a bit tricky, the pick up after the lagoon was horrible,
We were told ever hour pick up, however it's every 2hrs and sometimes up to 2.5.
So plan accordingly, when they drop you off it's every 2hrs . We wound up taking a taxi after waiting so long.
It was a long day!

The instructions for transport to the blue lagoon were a bit lacking. The bus transport was not difficult just a little anxiety producing not understanding which bus to take at the bus stop. I called and the plate on the front of the bus was given to me which made a less familiar experience more comfortable.

Ok to wear water shoes, a fair distance to walk to gain entry. Need benches for customers to sit waiting for cabs, tour buses, etc. out front.

The Lagoon is everything you imagine. Hot water, mud masks, drinks, etc. great experience! The premium was the way to go with a robe, 3 mud masks, and a drink.
