This was really beautiful. Peaceful, relaxing. Jen was amazing and we learned so much about the area. She was very knowledgeable and an excellent tour guide! Would recommend!

I was left behind even though I was on time. Also, I drove an hour there. However, I'm giving 3 stars because the person I talked to did try to help solve the issue by refunding my money and by giving me ideas for other sites near me so my trip wasn't for nothing, but I already visited all the places. He did try though, which he didn't have to I did have a scenic view back to my hotel, though. Also, it was my last full day in Portland.

We’re very sorry you missed your tour. We understand how disappointing that must have been, especially after driving an hour and with it being your last full day in Portland.
Our guides depart at the scheduled start time out of respect for the other guests who arrived on time, so unfortunately we aren’t always able to wait for late arrivals. While we believed the tour had already departed, we still felt it was important to provide a full refund and do our best to suggest other scenic places to visit so your trip wasn’t a complete loss.
We appreciate your kind words about our efforts to help, and we’re genuinely sorry this experience didn’t work out. We wish you all the best and hope you enjoy the rest of your travels.
Jennifer was a delightful, knowledgeable river guide! She was there to greet us early and had us fitted with life vests quickly. We saw multiple bald eagles and loved kayaking on the main river and the inlets.
Make sure to use the restroom before you get there. There is a port-a-potty available that was clean but for those wanting a more familiar bathroom experience, stop beforehand.

This was an outstanding kayak tour. Doable for all ages and abilities, we would totally do this again if back in the area! Our two guides were highly informative, and the views and sunset can’t be beat.
Really enjoyed. Perfect conditions. Calm water. My 10 year old kid and I in 2 person kayak but he was easily able to paddle for quite a while. Crawdads, dead fish (at bottom), swallows, sea otters. Blackberries, rock picking. No bugs. Only improvement could have been just a 1 minute spiel for us out of staters about the gorge itself.
We were in gorgeous scenery, learning a lot about the area, and had a spectacular time. We’re in our 70s, my partner isn’t a highly experienced boater, and yet it was very doable. Don’t hesitate!

Delightful kayaking experience! Booked the sunset tour and agree with the description that it is appropriate for all ages. Starting point was easy to find. Blake was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, super friendly and respectful of all abilities. He shared quite a bit about the formation of the gorge and its forests, having studied forestry himself. The eagles soaring over us were a bonus. Couldn't be happier with this tour!

My friend and I had a great time on our kayak trip!! It was a windy day with some waves, but nonetheless beautiful and relaxing. It was a super fun experience for the money! If I find myself near Portland again, I’d love to come back for another :)

This was an incredible way to see the gorge. The leaders of the group were fantastic and the scenery was STUNNING. I would definitely do this again!

Wonderful sunset kayaking tour of the incredible Columbia River Gorge. My son and I took this tour at the end of a long day of hiking. Andre was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommended if you are a family or group looking for a nice way to top off the day.

Amazing experience being out on the river gorge. We Saw so many eagles and beautiful mountain views. Andre was my instructor and he was amazing and was able to tell me so much information about the area and the history behind it. This was my first time kayaking and I definitely plan to do it again very soon thank you guys for an amazing experience!
