I've been on better ghost tours. I don't know if it was the tour guide or the tour itself but the stories were boring, hard to hear over traffic or others standing nearby on the street, the path layout for the stops were all over the place, and I'm pretty sure the tour guide was high. Fairly certain that he sent us off to the bathroom at a nearby bar because when we came back he smelled strongly of weed and general demeanor reflected someone under the influence. This was not worth the money I paid.

We absolutely LOVED our tour! Our tour guide was very clearly passionate about not only the ghost stories he was telling, but also the history of Philadelphia itself. He was knowledgeable personable; pointing things out that weren’t even on the tour necessarily but that he felt we should know about. We learned SO much!!! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone!

Tour started 15 min late because of a no show and poor communication from guide's boss. Because of that, guide pushed the pace and kept leaving people behind. Guide also couldn't answer any questions from tour group. We left early.

It started almost 15 minutes late and didn’t seem to finish completely. We were bored by the descriptions and disappointed in the narrator and his lack of enthusiasm. Many people simply dropped out part way through the walk. I didn’t feel we got our money’s worth.

There were only 5 of us, my son and I and a father, mother and daughter. The guide, whose name was V (?) did a great job. Very informative, apparently does the historical tours as well, so he was very knowledgeable. Best of all, a very good storyteller and speaker. Great voice. Highly recommend.

The guide Logan was nice but clearly inexperienced and too young.... really didn't know very much at all. Nice kid, going to art school in the area though, I felt bad for him. It was palpably awkward, just the four of us as no one else was on the tour Friday night
And..... the next night my fam went on ghosttour.com , hosted by a local Philadelphia author Josh Hitchens who writes books about the history of Philly, historical & the supernatural.
Really disappointed n the Spirit of 76 tour.

Our guide Julianne was fantastic! Her knowledge, and camp counselor spirit made it even more enjoyable! The tour was weaves through Old City, which is a beautiful part of Philadelphia and spooky at night! We went on this tour with our teenage boys and our friends, and I would highly recommend this!!

I chose this tour because they capped it at a small size. While on it we passed a few tours with 30 or more people, so being a group of 9 was nice. The tour guide was friendly and good at answering questions. She showed us a lot and we learned some interesting local history. Some of the stories seemed less believable than on other similar tours— they were too detailed and elaborate. But the stories were certainly fun and it’s a good. Different way to get to know the old city.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and excited about sharing history with us! Which made the tour even more enjoyable. I wouldn’t call it a haunted tour though, it’s was more like a history tour with some twists. Still really good!!
