Truly a magical canyon.

Daniel_B, Mar 2026
Book early. We waited till the day before and could not get our preferred time slot. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Do not bring any type of bag, but if you must, a 12" x 12" clear plastic bag is allowed. If you hike when it is hot, it will be cool in the canyon but has direct sunlight once you exit the canyon so be prepared. If you are lucky, you may be assigned a guide named Dana. She is truly a wonderful ambassador for the Navajo Nation. Dana is friendly, informative and motivated to share her vast knowledge of everything anyone what ever need to know about Antelope Canyon. She also is very educated about Photography techniques which will make all of your photographic skills mages, truly memorable. Dana was the difference-maker between a good outing and a great outing.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you for the helpful tips and kind words! We’re thrilled Dana made your Antelope Canyon experience exceptional.

Victor overcharges for their service.

Thomas_H, Mar 2026
They should know to not us viator to book. Booking directly with provider would have cost us almost half of what Viator cost us. Local cost $82 per person, our cost via via tour was about $145 per person.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Thank you for the feedback. Third‑party pricing differs from direct bookings and is often higher.

Magnificent perfect nature at its best and our tour guide Nathaniel (Nate) was a perfect knowledgeable guide

Cheaper on site

Chaitanyareddy_K, Nov 2025
Tickets on the site are very cheaper than on this site. It’s too expensive when we buy online. Thank you

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thanks for your feedback! Booking online guarantees availability and full support.

Tour Guide

Cherry_C, Oct 2025
Our tour guide seemed to be in the bad mood the entire time, which made the experience less enjoyable. I hope no one else has to go through that.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. Please note that we are the ticket supplier, and we do not directly operate the tours. However, we take feedback like yours seriously and will be forwarding your comments to the tour operator in hopes that they address this issue.

Excellent Navajo Guide

Allen_E, Sep 2025
Great tour but make sure Viator provides the name of the company your tour is with. There are many companies providing tour and we almost missed ours.

Response from Host, Sep 2025

Thank you for sharing your experience and for visiting Antelope Canyon!

Confusing, bad link

Robert_D, Jun 2025
Tried to get tickets, the more we tried, zero answers, bad link. No explanation to us. Maybe they deal daily and get it, but someone who hasn't "doesn't ". How about explaining you get your ticket after checking in at the tour desk, after they confirm your waiver. Somewhere in the directions?

Response from Host, Jun 2025

Thank you for your feedback. We sent all the confirmation details to you via the Viator "Message Traveler" portal one week before your tour. The message included the exact check-in time and location, important instructions, and the waiver link. It's possible this message was missed or overlooked, and we’re sorry if that caused any confusion. That said, we see you were still able to join the tour successfully on the day. We hope you had a wonderful experience and enjoyed your trip!

Awesome

A beautiful natural wonder

Deborah_F, Mar 2025
Although it was an overcast day nevertheless the tour was amazing. Our guide stopped multiple times to take photos of every couple and family to get shots with interesting lighting. He also took our phones in some places to get a perfect shot.

Response from Host, Mar 2025

Thank you for visiting Antelope Canyon. Enjoy your pictures!

tour is great but don’t book from viator

nikhil_k, Mar 2025
The tour operator will rush you through the tour. Viator add no value to the purchase of this ticket except charging 2-3 times the cost of the ticket. Legal scam where viator bulk purchases the tickets from Navajo and we are forced to purchase it from viator.

Response from Host, Mar 2025

We hope you enjoyed Antelope Canyon. Thank you for your feedback. Please be aware that prices vary according to different times of the day. Our prices also include the Navajo Parks and Recreation fee.

Worst experience without delivery what you promised

Jeffrey_L, Nov 2024
The tour operator, National Park Express, gave me the most expensive tickets 149 dollars per person and the worst experience yesterday. 1. Tour operator did not deliver the service you said. They did not email or text me tickets 1-2 days before the tour date as you said. 2. They asked me to arrive the meeting point 12:30pm and wait for their staff to call my name. But it never happened. I arrived on time, kept waiting and nobody called my name. I started asking all strangers around. One told me to ask a tour guide standing next to a tour bus. This guy was very rude to us. He separated me and my wife to two different shuttles to upper antelope. It is very ridiculous. He didn’t listen to our complaints. We are seniors nearly 70. He didn’t separated another young family group. His act was apparently age discrimination. 3. There are no sign of National Park Express on the site. If I did not get him, we will miss the shuttle to upper antelope. 4. Because we paid you, it is your responsibility to deliver the service you promised. By the facts as above, we had video recorded yesterday to prove it, we are the only seniors there and we are the only group who got separated by this guy. Please return the cost we paid for the tickets or other equivalent compensations. Or your reasonable explanation why this happened to us.

Response from Host, Nov 2024

We are sorry to hear of your frustrations and we thank you for sharing your feedback. We do not send actual tickets, as they do not have physical tickets, but we do send the confirmation. We will share your concerns with the local tour operator on site. It is our goal to offer the smoothest guest experience we can.

Mariya was a very nice, knowledgeable and the best tour guide we've experienced. She answered all questions and offered lots of interesting facts about the Upper and even Lower Antelope Canyon. She took awesome pictures for us and of us with the correct smartphone settings as well. We'll be back again for our 3rd visit in the future for sure 😄😊 Thanks so much!

Doesn’t respect disabilities

Michelle_H, Oct 2024
We made this reservation within 24 hours of the time of our tour. It does not say this was a hike in the name of the tour. My mother is 71 and I have a disability related to my skin and the ability for me to be in the heat. Thinking this was a Boat Tour we signed up for it and then we explained our situation and they pretty much just told us there’s nothing they can do.

Response from Host, Oct 2024

We're sorry you thought you were booking a boat tour.

A must see experience

Upper Antelope

Clarence_P, Sep 2024
The canyon was very interesting. It was underground beauty in a harsh landscape. Website and onsite personnel and canyon employees are not in sync on tour time, price and other matters. Our guide was great.
