The "bike" seats, known as saddles, are dreadfully uncomfortable. As an athlete who cycles, saddles for this type of situation should be wide and well-cushioned. You'll mostly just sit on them and socialize or view the scenery. We had to stand, as most passengers ended up doing. The saddles are old, hard and not ergonomically designed for this scenario. Even the hard metal stools were uncomfortable because of the vibrations of the vessel. Bring your own cushion! OTHERWISE, the operators were super friendly and knowledgeable about the river and city. So fun and personable! Recommend this trip, but replacing the saddles (bike seats) should happen ASAP! Supply vinyl covers to protect them from rain, even during excursions. The company would prosper by making this small investment in modifications.

Hi there! Thank you for taking time to share about your experience. We are so glad to hear you enjoyed our captain and deckhand, and all they had to share about the city. They work so hard to offer a unique and engaging experience and it sounds like they knocked it out of the park! We absolutely hear you on the bike seats... they are not for everyone, and the cycleboat experience certainly does not compare to traditional athletic cycling. We used to exclusively have the wider saddles you're referring to, but over time we shifted to an assortment of saddles to fit the wide variety of user preferences. Some people prefer the noseless saddles, some prefer the thinner saddles, some prefer the wider "beach cruiser" type.. so, we outfitted the boat with a few of each! Ultimately, we are not going to be able to please everyone and it looks like we left much to be desired in your case. We apologize that the saddle choices got in the way of your full enjoyment of this activity, but appreciate you giving us a shot anyway. W hope you had an enjoyable (and more comfortable!) rest of your visit to Nashville! If you come to town again, we would love to host you on one of our other experiences.

The crew was great but the tour was kinda lame. Nothing really to see and very over priced. The boat was in pretty rough shape.

We had a large group in town from Virginia Beach. This was such a fun way to spend a couple hours with our teen girls. 10/10 recommend!
