Had a great time. The staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone on the boat caught fish. And was able to see a barracuda. Planning another trip for next year.
Voyager Fishing, we overheard them making comment maybe they shouldn't go out because seas were rough. There were a lot of people who got sick on way out. The squid bait they provided was old, not fresh, frozen. No one was getting any bites. We only fished in one spot. They never moved. They headed in at 1130 because so many sick. It was worst fishing experience we ever had. Felt bad for crew, they got very little tips because everyone pissed.
We almost didn’t go after reading the yelp reviews, but THEY WERE WRONG! This is a great family-friendly activity with an affordable price. Captain and crew were amazing.! if you don’t know whether or not you have motion sickness, take the medicine. If you know you have motion sickness, and you’re just going because someone else wants to, do not go. If you’re looking for a deep sea fishing experience where you picture yourself wrangling “the big one,” this is probably not what you’re looking for. That being said, a morning on the ocean with a rod reel and some squid, we both caught a few small fish and were thrilled to death. It was a fun activity and we met some great people!
Great trip. Caught mainly Sea Bass. Good captain, that put us on fish and the crew were right there to take you fish off the hook!
