I gave this 3-stars because I need to be fair to the business. I didn’t fish, nor did my partner. We were suppose to attend the evening fishing excursion, but the night before we got a call from Bob saying it was cancelled and we could attend the morning session or a session the following day. The session would go from 4 hrs to 6 hrs with no additional charge due to the circumstances. We agreed, and honestly, i regret it. We got there a new minutes late because this excursion is not in SC/myrtle beach at all, but in Calabash, NC. It was 40 minutes away. We got there and everything was nice, we received thorough rules and expectations and then hit the water. The currents were so strong that even one of the workers on the boat mentioned they were “a little rough, even for me”. This excursion was 100% my partner’s idea as he loves fishing a lot, had never been to Myrtle Beach, and it was his birthday. Unfortunately, he instantly got sick from the waves impact and threw up the entire time (when he was not sleeping inside of the boat). This was personally my first time ever fishing at all and my partner had intentions of teaching me on this trip, but that was a fail. I ended up sitting inside of the boat watching the others fish (and him be sick) for 6 hrs. My experience was horrible and a complete waste of money, but everyone else appeared to have a great time and i love that for them, hence why I’ll give 3-stars. Although my experience was horrendous, i believe this is a great experience for fishing lovers and people who don’t often get motion sickness. I’ll say “often” because my partner wasn’t the only one on the boat who had got sick (the others were able to pick themselves back up like nothing happened). The crew on the boat were also knowledgeable, not too friendly and talkative (at least not to me) but they knew their stuff when it came to fishing.
