This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience nature in a thrilling way. Dropping 200’ into Medieval Chamber and rappelling down past Morning Glory Natural bridge was surreal, the hike there and the hike out were also phenomenal. We are both into hiking and this was top notch! Nate and Kenzie were fantastic guides!!!!! Highly recommend these two and Paddle Moab, 1000 likes!!!!!

Nate was amazing! This was such a cool adventure and an incredible way to see the area. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

Great tour but be prepared. This tour is way more than repelling. The scenery was breathtaking! You hike a LOT to get to the two giant repels. If you are scared of heights and ledges like me, it will challenge you. Lots of boulders to navigate over, you cross 11 creeks and unfortunately I sacrificed my shoes to the river gods on this trip. My husband was able to avoid the water however he’s taller with a longer stride. Overall it was absolutely amazing and I would do it again, just bring shoes that you don’t mind getting wet and very sandy (fine red sand). Be sure to bring a backpack, water, and a snack as the hike is long. The guides, Landon and Kenzie, were great and I never felt unsafe, just a little challenging for me as I’m definitely scared of heights. (I like to push myself.) 10/10 tour!

Nate was very knowledgeable about the service and made the adventure both thrilling and safe. Throughout the experience, we always felt well taken care of. The guide also shared fascinating information about the history of the area and offered great local recommendations, which made the outing even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was awesome, if you are scared of heights or nervous like me, they are kind and helpful. Would 100% recommend if you are in the Moab area!

What a great experience!!! We booked this for our family of five while in Moab and are so glad we did! It was so much fun to rappel and hike the canyons with Kensie and Zack who were knowledgeable and friendly! We hiked Canyonlands and Arches but this was our favorite part of the trip! We also appreciated our guides’ insights on other things to do in Moab including restaurants and cliff jumping!

Nate was an excellent guide and provided a safe, fun experience. Do not hesitate to take this opportunity to experience this beautiful part of world by descending down into a slot canyon. Thank Nate for a great experience.

Once in a lifetime adventure! We don’t have these kinds of mountains in SC so our experience with rappelling and climbing was limited to rock walls. Nate (our guide) was amazing- climbing coach, safety expert, educational tour guide and just easy to talk with! Will do this again when we return with our teenagers without question. Fabulous bargain for the experience!

This was an amazingly fun adventure the nice little hike to the repel was really cool. Our guide was great and was super friendly.

Beautiful views, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and of course adventure! The repelling was awesome and easy to do. The hike out is a couple of miles but nothing too intense. I would recommend this to anyone looking to repel!
Nate Greenberg was our guide and he was phenomenal!

Great guide tons of fun. Highly recommended even if not experienced. Only complaint is we could not do it again.

I booked this for my husband and I. I am afraid of heights. So the morning of our trip we went to the office to discuss exactly what would happen. First and foremost anyone who has given any of these wonderful employees a bad rating really need to be honest about themselves. Everyone I encountered could not be more kind, genuine and professional. Again, safety is first with this company. The young lady checking us in answered all my questions and then asked if I wanted to talk to our guide. This was about an hour before our time to go. Nick, our guide, was nothing short of outstanding. He completely understood my concerns. He explained everything in simple terms and explained that he would have a second line attached to each person where he could control the decent if anything happened. He took the time to reassure me and make me super comfortable. He explained the hike in as well as the hike out. The hike in was very easy. The hikes between the first and second rappel was a little more challenging but not hard. The hikes between out was a little harder BUT Nick went at the pace my husband set. He is such a wonderful guide. He explained the history, the animals, the earth and plants. He talked about the entire history of the area. He made us feel like we were the best friends. He is so calm and reassuring. I would recommend good shoes to hike in and plenty of water. If you do not bring a backpack (which I recommend a small one to carry your water and helmet which you get sized for there) they have loaner ones. Make sure everything in your pockets are secure. Take water….it is a must. This adventure is for everyone who can manage to hike about three miles total over a rough floor trail and who wants an exciting adventure. It does not require skill but you must listen to what your guide says and follow directions, then it is so easy. I strongly recommend this company to anyone! They have such a kind loving spirit about them and we will be using them for a white water rafting trip. This is suitable for kids who are big enough and strong enough for the adventure. This is one of the best companies I have ever used on our many, many outdoor adventures around the country!

Laid back but very professional & experienced. We had our guide to ourselves! Would definitely do tours from this company again.

We had an amazing time rappelling and hiking through the desert! Or guide, Nate, was knowledgeable and fun, and he made the whole experience incredible! We had a group of 6 and we're joined by a group of 2 who we quickly got to know. All in all, this was a fantastic way to start our vacation!!

This was canceled because I was the only one signed up. I requested a refund from Viator per Paddle Moab's instructions. Still waiting to hear from Viator about it. Thnks for this reminder.
Response from Host, Oct 2024
A one-star review and you did not even go on a trip. Seriously? We’re sorry we had to cancel your trip, that is not something we take lightly. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for us to accommodate one-person trips, as noted in your confirmation email. You also booked through a third party, instead of booking directly so you are dealing with a middleman which can slow things down! As of now I believe your refund has been processed. God Speed!

Colin was an amazing guide; patient, knowledgeable, funny, and experienced. The walk out of the canyon was beautiful. Highly recommend this adventure!

What a fantastic experience!! We are completely new to rappeling and had no clue in where to start. Landon was amazing! He was knowledgeable, patient, and the perfect guide for us. We hiked Arches and Canyonlands- but rappelling with Landon was the absolute highlight of our trip to Moab! The best!
Kendra_K, Aug 2024
This experience far exceeded my expectations. I was pretty nervous about this excursion when I planned it with my 2 boys (10 & 12 yrs) but found it to be my favorite one we did. I always felt safe & trusted our guide, Nate, who was awesome. The hike to & from the cliffs was also something we thoroughly enjoyed. I felt safer being with Nate than even trying that hike on our own. Highly recommend to families!!
Sara_D, Jul 2024
Our tour guide, Nate, did a fantastic job! He was friendly, patient, and fun. The equipment was clean and well maintained. The 2 mile hike after was beautiful and adventurous. We would recommend this company and especially this guide to all ages and skill levels. Thank you for this amazing experience.

We really enjoyed our hike and rappel through and out the Grandstaff canyon trail. Landon was our guide. The hike was casual and sometimes challenging. Safety seemed second nature to him yet he explained new things very well.
Richard_T, Jun 2024
Excellent for the beginners that we are. Beautiful hike to and from the rappelling points. Colton our guide was very knowledgable and made everyone feel confident about the adventure we were taking on.
Tricia_G, May 2024
Nate was our guide—he was superb! Extremely experienced guide and helpful with local facts during our hike before and after canyoneering. He provided encouraging support to all in our group during the rappelling. What a unique area! Probably our favorite activity from our Utah trip. Will never forget!

My bf and I did the medieval chamber canyoneering trip. It was awesome. Colin was our guide and he was fantastic. Throughout the entire trip, he had interesting stories and facts about the area. This was our first time doing canyoneering and he was patient and explained everything in great detail. We felt super safe. I would 100% recommend this trip and this company to anyone.
