This was a great way to get a little history about Milwaukee. Alexis was friendly and very knowledgeable. She shared interesting information and kept the tour at a good pace. We tasted a wide variety of delicious foods and got insight into other fun sites and stops in the city.

The food was tasty and ample. There was some "city tour" info shared, but much less than in other food tours we've taken. We had wandered around the same area of the city the previous day and learned more from quick Google searches than our guide shared. And while the guide was very friendly, he didn't initiate much conversation and we walked in silence much of the time. Also, the last food stop on the tour wasn't the same as the indicated end point (although the guide did walk back to the end point). Had we known, we could have parked much more conveniently.

You get quite a bit of food on this tour - we left absolutely stuffed. I would also recommend the alcohol package. We got to try some beverages that you might not find outside of Milwaukee. Alexis was very sweet!

Our tour guide did not show up. I planned my entire trip around this tour. I even flew in a day early to ensure I could make it on time and the guide didn’t show up. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed

Hi Christina, thank you for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, your scheduled guide experienced an unforeseen emergency and was unable to make it to the tour. Due to the timing of the situation, we were not able to arrange a replacement guide in time for the scheduled departure.
As soon as we became aware of the issue, we offered alternative options, including rescheduling your tour. When none of the available alternatives fit your travel plans, we promptly processed a full refund.
Many guests who join our tours highlight the knowledge and hospitality of our guides, which makes this outcome particularly disappointing for everyone involved. Still, we appreciate your feedback and hope you'll consider joining us again in the future should your travels bring you back to Milwaukee.

My girlfriend and I found ourselves in the fine city of milwaukee during the week of Thanksgiving '25. I was delighted to see that secret food tours was operating in the city. Having had two previous tours with this company in Portland and Charleston I very much wanted to see what milwaukee had to offer. On a very cold and snowy day is when our tour progressed. Taylor was our guide. We were taken to four different locations, all delicious however I believe our favorite was the braut platter at a German beers garden was our favorite. Our tour also included fish fry, Mexican corn, cheese samples, and finally ice cream to end the tour. All in all a great tour however if your from the west coast such as us maybe this tour in summer might be more to your fancy!

I had taken a walking tour in Chicago earlier this spring, and my guide was extremely enthusiastic regarding everything about the city. So while our Milwaukee guide was a great guide for this tour, she did not evince as much enthusiasm for Milwaukee. Nevertheless, I was in a super touring group, and we had a wonderful and informative exposition to the city, its history, its food and its beer!

Not worth $200. The restaurants visited were not prepared or expecting us. The blue bat staff would not allow us to sit inside the restaurant or at the tables outside. Unacceptable

We had a great time on our tour. The food was amazing and plentiful! We enjoyed interacting with our group. Our guide, Yazmin, was fun and engaging. The one downside, the tour ended a mile from where we started. We had to walk the mile back to where we had started because that’s where we parked.

This was a great way to walk around the city and learn the history while eating foods that represented the city. ( mostly).
If doing again, I would not do it on a Su day as some of the places were closed that would have been fun. But Jen still made it delightful.
We had 5 samples plus a little surprise at the end.
Although she was fairly new to giving tours, she is very knowable of the historical info of Milwaukee .

The tour was fun and Alexa was very friendly and knowledgeable about Milwaukee. It was shorter than expected (2 hours) but that may be because our group was so small, which was nice. I would recommend this tour if you are like us and are only in Milwaukee for a day or two and want to get a feel for the city.

We liked our tour guide, she was very friendly and we enjoyed the tour she gave us walking around the city. She gets 5 stars from us.
We were disappointed in the food choices. We were taken to four dining spots, not 5 as advertised. Two of the four were at food courts. One of the food court dishes was cold and unappetizing.
We were also surprised to get dessert followed by fried fish. The sequencing was off.
