I took a nice, leisurely stroll from the roof garden down through the three interior floors. The layout flows nicely. I felt like there was a wide presentation of material that would be of interest to many. Very enjoyable and relaxed.

Fascinating industrial art and sculpture exhibits. Start at the rooftop sculptures and work your way down.

    MSOE Museum Experience

    Denise_J, Oct 2025
This was our first time visiting the Art museum at MSOE. The day we chose to go there, it was not busy so we did not have to wait in line for a ticket. Meaning you do not have to buy the ticket on line in advance as I chose to do.

    The Difference Makes Visit Worthwhile

    Hal_C, Jul 2025
Enjoyed seeing different subject focus from typical museum exhibits. Great sculptures of working tradesmen. Mix of media types covers most trades going back a few centuries. Worth seeking out this hidden jewel.

    Quiet little gem!

Very nice museum! We loved the sculptures, stained glass and all of the paintings. The museum was very well maintained and the staff very friendly. The rooftop sculpture garden was great to see.

Fabulous museum. Three stories plus rooftop. Stairs/elevator. Art is amazing! Special exhibits periodically. Train exhibit currently.

    Unique. Did not know of...

Unique. Did not know of this museum. The casts and bronze sculptures were interesting. The art work gives a pictorial history of industry and labor.

    First Time Visitor

Such a quiet place, yet much bigger than it looks on the outside. The art is amazing, and the fact that it's separated into different categories such as medicine, textiles, etc., only makes it even better. Can't wait to eventually return and pay another visit.

    A Barely Known Gem

    Kevin_Y, Dec 2024
Art work dates back to the 1400s running to recent history, documenting how people provided a livelihood. Start with the top floor and work your way down. As we were there in December, we couldn’t go out onto the roof.

The artwork wasn't just some photo shop handy work. They were painting of actual people and events. Beautiful!! The statues on the outside deck located on the top of the museum was my favorite.

    Wonderful museum

Hidden gem of a museum. It's a lovely museum in a convenient location. Beautiful rooftop sculpture garden and a lot of nice artwork focused on working people and animals. Highly recommend it.

    Fantastic experience

A visit to the Grohmann is a must if you like history and surely if you appreciate art. I recommend taking a look at their website. Admission cost is a true bargain. If you are for a show or sports event, add a visit to your agenda . However, the Grohmann is a worthy destination in its own right.

    Hidden gem!

    Svetlana_G, Jul 2023
I stumbled upon this museum by accident, just walking on the street. Google doesn’t advertise this museum as one of the main attractions in Milwaukee. It’s a hidden gem!! It has beautiful rooftop garden, and pretty good art collection, admission is only $5.

    Very Educational

    Vaughn_S, Dec 2022
One of the most educational pieces of history. I recommend the medical fraternity take a look back in time.

A unique museum gem in Milwaukee

    Richard_H, Dec 2020
The entire museum is fabulous. What a find. I forgot the name of the woman at the desk, but she was fabulous, guiding us a little in the museum, but mainly just pleasant, informative and interactive. The man was also was enjoyable to interact with. If everyone working there is like these two, you have a wonderful group. The exhibits are excellent and quite unique. This is a gem in Milwaukee.
