- The majority of this tour will be conducted on the bus, with a few off-bus stops (approximate distance covered on foot: .5 miles)
- Within a few blocks there are four different parking garages, and several open-air parking lots. The closest garage to our location (just two blocks away) is at 149 Peabody Place between Second Street and BB King Blvd., next to the Hampton Inn.

John was amazing and has a wealth of historians knowledge on Memphis. Highly recommend for anyone visiting.
Very good tour lots of information about murder and mayhem of Memphis! Tour guide and driver were Awesome.
The guide was extremely informative with a bit of local color thrown in for good measure. The driver was very patient with those of us who stayed behind due to mobility issues.
Shannon was an amazing tour guide and storyteller. I’d highly recommend this tour. The stops were great and the drinks were a nice touch!
Shannon did a great job keeping us all engaged on this tour. She was obviously well read on the darker side of Memphis. If you have a couple of extra hours, this tour would be a good way to spend them.
We loved it and learned so much more than we thought we would! Would definitely recommend taking this tour!
John was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about the different parts of Memphis and the real events that took place in them. He wad also very vocal when it was time to board the bus! Other people on the tour didn't listen or chose to leave the room. We wound up nearly leaving them once and actually leaving them behind the second time but it wasn't his fault! They didn't pay attention or learn their lesson the first time! He was extremely professional and apologetic when we went back to get them, both to them and those of us on the bus even when he didn't have to. His only mistake was thinking adults would act like adults.
It was good. But I hate writing reviews like this. Hopefully this won’t go on a website. But that would be funny.
The booking was cancelled because there were only three people signed up. We were the three, and we were very disappointed. Once a tour is booked and people are excited for it, it is very bad form to cancel without an emergency reason.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment for not having the tour that day. We were disappointed, too!
We do have a minimum number of participants required to operate this tour and we just didn't quite meet that number on that date. You were refunded in full for your tickets, and we are very sorry again for the cancellation.
Mary was excellent and good air conditioning on the bus! I was excited to know that I was knowledgeable about two of the stories! Definitely going to read up more on the others!
It was a great tour. Shannon was very personable with a lot of knowledge, and made it very interesting!
Mary is a great story teller and Princess did a great job geeting us around town. Learned a lot about Memphis.
Excellent tour! was a great narrator. Very informative and upbeat. Princess was an awesome driver and had the patience of a saint in the crazy traffic. The tour provides a free drink stop, which is a perk, but the stop was in a new building and new bar without any stories to tell. I feel like this is a missed opportunity. Finding a more appropriate partner bar, even one adjacent to a story, would connect it to the trip better and not make it seem like an afterthought. Other than that, I do recommend!
Don’t take the riverboat. The people on it was great but to walk through the mess we had to I would never do it again. SAM our tour guide was FANTASTIC, KNEW ALOT, ANSWERED every question!!! There is enough good words to say about SAM. We would tour with him again!!!!
The tour was very interesting and the guide was very informative. The only complaint we had was that the guide decided to interject personal politics into the conversation.

Fun experience. Wish the tour guide had a microphone for the walking portions as well. The drinks were good and the bus was nice and cold foe the hot day. The stories were very interesting.
Interesting information about the crimes that occurred in Memphis. Some walking involved but not excessive.
I loved exploring Memphis learning the not so good history. My wife is a Crime Junkie listener and I thought while in town we should take the tour. Tanya Nicole our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge about the city and its previous inhabitants.

She did an amazing job and brought too life the stories. Really enjoyed the sites of Memphis. Maybe have someone assist her as their is a dangerous element to the city.
Our tour guide Mary was phenomenal, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, entertaining and much more. Calvin did a great job driving us safely and we appreciate his skills! They were also very accommodating due to the heat. We would highly recommend this adventure to others!
It’s not just a bus ride there is walking involved. And when it is hot it is exhausting. The stop for a cocktail was good. Wish I had stayed at that hotel.

This is a fun tour. Our guide Mary was fantastic and super knowledgeable. She had great historical facts and was very engaging. The tour starts at Alfred’s where you get on a bus to go around downtown Memphis. Our driver Aubrey had to navigate heavy traffic that day but did a great job getting us around town safely. This is an informative and interesting tour for anyone looking to do something a little outside the box in Memphis.
Shannon was born to do this. she could do podcasts. it was nice to be able to take a cocktail on the bus.
True crime tour was very interesting, Mary did an amazing job of explaining and informing us of all Memphis true crimes. She did not disappoint! We definitely recommend this tour if you have never been! We will do it again! Ty!
