Great trip, loved both cities. Very medieval but beautiful and well maintain! Both guides very very good Richard and Angel in Toledo and Patricia in Zegovia. Good example of small traditional Spanish cities. Highly recommends. Buses left on time. The only down side is that they should go directly from Toledo to Zegovia without stopping in Madrid. But overall great activities. Kudos to the tour company!!!

Unforgettable vacation!!

We had an amazing experience and are so glad we booked with Viator! The ticket included transportation and a guide who took us through the historic district of both Toledo and Segovia. The tours were incredible! We had perfect weather, and the food was delicious. Just a heads-up for others: remember your hat and sunblock 😍😍!!

We booked the Toledo & Segovia tour on 9/22/25. Our Uber dropped us at the wrong location but when we arrived the operator’s staff refused to let us join the group and left. I called the operator multiple times, asked to meet them if we took the train or got a taxi, and asked to speak to a manager; staff would not connect me and offered no solutions. We missed Toledo — the primary reason for the booking. I asked for a refund or rescheduling and was refused. I raised this with Viator but the operator has not issued a refund. Be careful. I should’ve trusted the other reviews before booking. Completely ruined our last day in Madrid.

Very good day trip to Toledo and Segovia! The tour guides for Toledo Carlos and Angel were very good explaining everything! Also our guide for Segovia ( Juan) was very good and nice!

Don’t do it! Spend one day on either one. Both cities deserve it.

In a rush, I definitely do not recommend one day for two cities. The tour company request us to arrive at 8:00. We arrive at 7:45, they let all the customers stand outside until 8:00 . Some do one day two cities, some do one day one city, we travel on same bus. The arrangement became messy.

It was all good until the guide asked me to switch my language of preference to Spanish because we had 8 people speaking Italian. I booked a Spanish /English trip on purpose. I am fluent in English and I am of Mexican decent, so I speak Spanish pretty good but not the same as Spain. She put me on the spot since i was the only one who spoke English...which was not cool! She literally said there is one of you and 8 of them. But I paid for an English tour! We also waited and lost time because she allowed people to get ice cream at our bathroom break, so we had to wait for them which was not fair to the people that followed the rules!

Take snacks as there was not enough time for us to sit and eat. Unfortunately the Madrid information by the tour guide was only in English even though I chose an English tour. I missed out on those facts.

Passengers are free to eat wherever they want but always keeping in mind that they must follow certain schedules. The Toledo guide was very experienced and informative. Town was lovely. Segovia aqueducts were interesting however, we were rushed through the town due to us being late due to an accident on the road. Not ours.

The lady in the bus left us with local tour with not much information and local guide was walking so fast, no time for others to catch up and we got lost and had to climb hill to reach to the bus stop. We were waiting for lady guide to know which bus to catch when someone from the tour saw us and called us to get in otherwise we would be still waiting and the bus would leave without us. 3 stars for this. However the afternoon tour guide was excellent. Explained us in details and walked with the group. Was very informative and knowledgeable. 5 stars for him.

Segovia and Toledo

Toledo is amazing! The tour guide (Mar) was very knowledgeable about the history. She did a fantastic job of touring through the Cathedral! Gave us some free time to explore too. The coaches for both legs of the trip are in impeccable condition and very comfortable. Segovia was great also. Our guide (there was a different guide for Segovia) kept us all engaged throughout. Wear your most comfortable walking shoes if your doing both tours the same day! We logged over 21k steps!! When you only have a short period of time in Madrid and want to see both of these unique destinations, this is a great way to do it.

Our trip to Toledo was very disappointing. Our tour guide was more interested in stopping and her incessant talking than actually allowing us to see the city. We spent 40 in front of a restaurant while she droned on. As such we did not get to see much of what the city offered. I'm sure another tour guide would have been better.
