Honestly one of the best tours we have been on. My wife and I wanted to do a wine tasting tour in Spain. Great communication before the trip and very organized during the excursion. All 3 wineries were wonderful, each with their own unique vibe. We sampled about 10 wines and the samples were very generous. The snacks were plenty at each location. Our guide Ismael was great. Very informative and catered to everyone’s needs. We had a great time and would definitely book with Gourmet Madrid again.

Wonderful day. Excellent guide. We really enjoyed the wines and tapas provided as well as learning the history of some of the wineries
My wife and I had a great time! The tour guide, Nacho, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the history of wine and wine making in Spain. He made it so fun and informative. The wineries were fantastic. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Nacho!!
No complaints. It was my first wine tour/tasting experience and we loved it. Learned a lot and had plenty of wine.

We are honored to have hosted your very first wine tour experience and delighted to hear that you both loved it, learned a lot, and enjoyed the wine selection! Thanks!
Nice to get out of the city and experience three local wineries in a small town. Fun to see the caves below the wineries where wine is kept. Mina was a knowledgeable and fun guide.

Escaping the hustle and bustle of Madrid to discover the charm of the countryside is truly something special! We’re so glad you enjoyed exploring the three local wineries and that the visit to the historic underground caves was one of the highlights of your day.
Muna will love reading your kind words. She loves combining history, wine, and fun for our guests! Thank you so much for joining us and for sharing your wonderful experience.
Muna was a fabulous guide providing insights ibto the various wine regions within spain and then specifically within the Madrid area.
The vinyards we visited were family run and there was a oneness with us as visitors and subsequently as customers.
A highly recommended tour is you are into wines.

An amazing day trip with Ismael.
He gave us lots of information and it was a fun day. Lots of wine and appetizers at all three wineries. Sandra at Val Azul was really nice and welcoming too.
I highly recommend this tour.
It was a small group so it was very personalized.

We will also be sure to pass on your kind words to Sandra.

Be open minded to learn about new experiences and to make new friends. Don't be shy to ask questions and try out every wine and tapa
Response from Host, Jul 2026
We love that you highlighted not only the wineries, wines and local tapas, but also the opportunity to learn something new and connect with fellow travellers.
That's exactly the kind of relaxed and memorable day we aim to create.
Thank you for sharing your experience.

Thank you for choosing our winery tour and for recommending it!
Enrique loves sharing the stories behind the wines and making the journey entertaining along the way, so we're happy to hear he made such a strong impression.
We hope the bottles and memories you took home will remind you of your day in Madrid's wine country for a long time.
Muna was our grave guide. She was beyond informative about everything! We visited three family owned wineries and it was the trip of a lifetime. Beyond anything I would’ve imagined. The portions of wine was way plenty. The tapas were delicious. I was stranded in France and this was a spur of the moment decision between changing towns and hotels. I’m so glad we decided to book this tour. We were even able to buy wine as olive oil to bring home. VERY AFFORDABLE I MIGHT ADD. Book this now, you will not be disappointed!

Thank you for taking the chance on us after your unexpected travel change! It's fantastic to know the day turned into such a memorable part of your trip.
We'll be sure Muna sees your kind words, and we're especially happy you enjoyed discovering three very different family wineries, along with the wines, tapas, olive oil, and everything that makes this region so special.
Safe travels, and enjoy those bottles when you open them back home!
What wonderful family owned wineries. Each was unique and beautiful and each family represented their brands in such a special way - especially with the tapas that accompanied the wine tasting. Enrique our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful translating through out the day.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for such a thoughtful review. Sharing the stories behind these family-run wineries is one of the most rewarding parts of the day, and we're delighted you enjoyed meeting the people behind the wines as much as the tastings themselves.
Amazing experience!! I’ve done a few Buy a Tour tours now, and this has definitely been the best one so far.
Enrique was our guide, and he took us to three amazing wineries. There was no pressure to buy anything—you can simply relax and enjoy the experience. We did end up buying some wine, and we found the shipping to the USA to be very reasonably priced—ours was less than €100. He was very knowledgeable, his English was clear and easy to understand, and he made the day even better. I’m really glad we got him as our guide!
There were 12 of us in the group, and by the end of the tour we’d all gotten to know each other, which made the experience even more memorable.
The first winery was at the actual vineyard where the grapes are grown, while the other two were tasting rooms in charming little towns. It was a great mix and made the experience even more memorable.
A wonderful day learning about and drinking wine! We had the absolute best day at all 3 locations and our guide was great!
Ismael what a wonderful guide. Everyone enjoyed each stop of the tour and Ismael was very friendly and considerate.
Enrique was a wonderful guide. He personally knew all the owners of the wineries we visited and also about the history of the area. I would highly recommend having Enrique as your tour guide!
This tour is well organized ! The vineyards that we visited were great hosts. They explained what grapes they grow, the machinery for the harvest. We tasted great wines & visited some ancient wine cellars. Our guide was excellent !

We love that you enjoyed seeing so many different sides of the winemaking process, from the vineyards and production methods to the historic cellars. It sounds like a wonderful day of learning, tasting, and discovering the wine region around Madrid.
Thank you for your review!
The tour guide (Nacho) was amazing. A somelier and knew the region and vineyards very well. A nice variety of wines and 5 th generation wineries. Local cheeses, meats, tomatoes, olive oils and breads could not have been better.
This experience was fantastic! The guide Enrique was very communicative, friendly and very knowledgeable. The wineries were all great! We tried about nine wines and each winery served quite a bit of food as well. The foods and wines were all delicious!
Great, except Linda lost her phone during this travel experience. Otherwise all was first class. Bravo.
Well…. This was going to be a barn burner and me going ham being angry. We were left at the starting point because the guide forgot us after we checked in. We were furious. The tour turned around and got us. After I stewed in my juices for about a hour we got to the first winery. The tour guide approached us and apologized several times and even bought us a bottle of wine. The rest of the tour was amazing and I highly recommend. This goes to show that when something starts bad it can end up excellent.

Hello! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us.
First of all, we’d like to offer our sincere apologies once again for that difficult start. We completely understand your initial frustration: being left behind after checking in isn’t the best way to start the day, and we’re truly sorry for the stress it caused you. However, we’re glad that our guide handled the situation well and that the rest of your guided tour of the wineries in the Madrid countryside was incredible.
Thank you for your kindness, your patience, and for joining us. We hope to welcome you back in the future so you can enjoy a flawless experience from start to finish! Best regards.
Tour guide Alfonso was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, he made us feel very welcome. The owners of the wineries were also so welcoming. This made our trip!
Amazing and informative tour. I wanted to learn more about Spanish wine and was not disappointed. Muna was a perfect guide. The wineries we visited were authentic real deal. Great value for the money as we were giving more than enough wine to drink and tapas along the way. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide was great! The wineries were so interesting, we saw parts of the wine making process we've never seen before! The wine options were great and the bottles available for purchase were very affordable with reasonable shipping to America! The food was good, but didn't feel like enough for a whole meal like mentioned. We were happy we ate a big breakfast and got an actual lunch after the tour.
Highly engaging and informative. All vineyards were unique yet excelled in service and wine. Highly recommend
Really great cross section of wineries and wines. Knowledgeable guide and very personable. Food was great and people were better! Enrique was amazing!
This was the absolute most amazing tour. I have been on so many wine tours and this one was incredible. You visit 3 family wineries in the most gorgeous country side. The wine is delicious as is the food and also Muna our guide was so knowledgeable and a delight to be around. She knew everyone like they were her family. Highly highly recommend. Can’t wait to bring friends back again!
We had a group of about 18. They were adults mostly in their mid 40 or 50s with us bringing up the rear at late 70s. There was plenty to eat and drink and both were pretty decent. It was easy walking with the exception of a couple of flights of stairs into the wine cave. Note: meet in front of the hotel and not the cafeteria.
Muna was a great tour guide. Took us to 3 different wineries, each with different characteristics, different wines. We had a small group which was just enough to share the experience and still small enough to feel like a personal tour. Muna was very friendly, excited to share her knowledge and loves her job. Thanks for a wonderful day.
Worth of the money. The timetable was perfect and the guide (Ismael) was very professional. The variety of the wineries was good, little different from each other.
Enrique was an amazing tour guide with a lot of knowledge wine and winemaking. I highly recommend this tour.
A lovely afternoon meeting wonderful people with an amazing tour guide, Muna and learning about wine a Spanish wine regions. Recommend highly! A great day!!
