Book this experience don’t hesitate!!! So much fun with our entire group and Benny our chef was knowledgeable and made sure we all had a good time. The food was delicious, definitely do the olive oil and jamón tasting portion. Delicious!!!

This is a must do event when visiting Madrid! This was my second class with them and it was wonderful. Food and company was great! Even if traveling alone don’t hesitate to take the class.

My adult son and I thought this was a top highlight of our time in Madrid. Benny and his team of chefs were professional, helpful, and most of all, fun. Each cooking station was meticulously organized making it easy for us to focus on the cooking. We ate dinner afterward in a lovely rustic brick room with loads of ambiance and had wonderful conversation with other participants. With the recipe book provided after the class, we are excited to make the recipes at home for the rest of the family!

We actually did the paella experience not the tapas and it was wonderful. Benjy our chef/instructor was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and really made the experience something special. From the beginning to the end he explained what we were doing, all of the ingredients were prepared and ready in small bowls to be added so that we could focus on the cooking and not prep. I made the seafood and my partner made the chicken and both were wonderful. After they cooked, we sat down to eat them with other foods prepared by Benjy that were all good— not to mention the wine pairings. And it was my partner’s birthday that made it all the more special.

An extremely enjoyable experience with friendly and happy staff. Turning out 5 separate Tapas was a rewarding experience and the way it was set up made for nice conversation with newfound friends.
Will have fun memories of the evening and with the recipes in hand will anticipate taking such to my kitchen.

This was a very fun cooking class! Learning to flambé was a blast and made for some fantastic photo ops.
It’s fun because you make a few small dishes so you get to eat along the way. It was so well organized with our hosts cleaning up as we went answering questions and serving wine.
Definitely a highlight of our trip to Madrid

Amazing time! This class was superb. We started off with a tasting of olive oil which was a great surprise. Then went to the cooking stations and made four different tapas dishes…sausage bruschetta, stuffed peppers, garlic shrimp, and herb butter mushrooms. We then had a seated dinner downstairs with roast pork and potatoes. The pork was fork tender and the sauce was delicious. We ended with a light “meringue” style desert with orange marmalade.
As stated in many other reviews, the wine never stops flowing! This was a great experience and one of the most fun things we did in Spain.

What a fantastic evening!! I would 100% recommend you to do this cooking class. The staff are so friendly, attentive (always topping up our glasses haha) and great at explaining the cooking instructions. The food was amazing that we made but the surprise two courses at the end that was made by the chefs… were exceptional!! What a beautiful setting in the kitchen area and also downstairs where we ate our food and drank some more delicious wine. I can’t speak highly enough of The Cooking Clubhouse, I had a wonderful evening, and as a solo traveller it was a great way to spend an evening enjoying great food and wine with lovely people!

Don’t eat before you arrive. The Tapas you cook is amazing. We travel a lot and each time we like to immerse ourselves into a cooking class. This is by far the best one we have ever done for value for money, sensational food and fun. Benito was fantastic with his knowledge, passion and instructions. The vibe was relaxed with bottomless wine and his music playlist. After finishing cooking and eating your Tapas you head downstairs into a beautiful rustic dining room for a delicious main course and desert AND more wine. They give you the recipes of all the food from the day and you can purchase the beautiful olive oil you use in the recipes if you wish. Thank you for the 5 star experience.

Very fun, high energy evening. We made 5 different classic tapas. The Cava was flowing. Later when our class concluded they brought us downstairs into a beautiful old brick walled room with an enormous table and seated us for a dinner entree with wine tastings. By then we had all made friends and it was a great way to end the evening.
