Augustin was our guide and was SO great! Fun and informative! Our whole group was very fun and got along great! We went to 5 awesome spots with great wine, food and history. An evening to remember for sure!

Impossible to locate the tour guide because of unspecified meetup location. Was looking for tour guide for 30 minutes at the supposed area of location. Good luck!
Luis did an excellent job in leading us to some great tapas and wine. He also provided great info on the city.
The tour was very informative and the food and drinks were delicious. Agustin was the true star as he was entertaining and very interactive. Agustin also offered recommendations and what else to do while in Madrid
This was such a nice tour with Antonio. We would never have discovered such nice sights and terrific food on our own. He spoke very good English and answered questions from the group of 9. Would do this again if chance ever occurs,
This was a very fun tour! Lots of walking, but it didn’t feel rushed. There was plenty to eat and drink at each stop. Would recommend to any visitors!
An interesting and delicious little tour. There was a large number of people signed up so they split everyone into two groups which worked out great. A nice variety of tapas restaurants were visited. A fun way to see a portion of the city.
Luis was a great guide! Very knowledgeable about the city and sites. The tapas was fantastic and each space had a special ambience. I highly recommend this tour.

Great tour guide!!!! Extremely knowledgeable and personable. Small group(5) made it more intimate. More food than I expected. Fantastic selection of tapas and wine. Alternatives were offered if a food allergy or distaste was specified. Rooftop stop ended the night perfectly.

Mario was amazing! He was truly lovely and provided an amazing experience. A bit disappointed that we didn’t follow the itinerary that was in the notes for booking (no garlic shrimp in clay pots, a huge staple and our favorite from our previous trip in Madrid). I know it was a Friday, so crazy busy and a lot of walking in between stops. We hit almost 10K steps just in this excursion. For us, totally fine, thankfully. I think it could have been quite difficult for others. Again, Mario was amazing. That said, we met amazing people, and that’s what we will remember.

This was an excellent experience. Augustin was a great guide and had a lot of good insight into the city for first time visitor. The food was great and the portions were very well balanced so that you didn’t leave hungry.

Antonio was our guide and walked us through neighborhoods, stopping to give a short talk about the significance of what we were seeing. He’s very knowledgeable but didn’t overwhelm us with too much history which was perfect. The places where we stopped for tapas were in unique settings, such as walking downstairs several levels to where we were below the Plaza Mayor. The tapas themselves were quite amazing and plentiful, with stuffed mushrooms, grilled peppers, chorizo, braised beef in wine, and much more. Alcoholic offerings were included with each stop. The final rooftop views at sunset were lovely. Come hungry!

Fantastic experience! The tapas was some of the best we had during our visit, and the four tapas bars we went to each had their own unique vibe. Our guides, Mario and Augustino, were knowledgeable, kind, and fun to be around. They went above and beyond to make this experience positive for all guests! During our walks from place to place, the guides took their time to teach us a little about the city, neighborhood, and culture. They were engaging and happily answered questions and shared their love of Madrid! I would highly recommend this experience for others visiting Madrid!

Excellent tour with Mario! We only had one day in Madrid and this experience was perfect for giving us a true Madrid Tapas and Wine with lots of history and great people in our group! It was nice to look up and enjoy the sights vs having to navigate where we’re going with a map app. Would do again when we visit Madrid.

Highly, highly recommend! Mario’s Madrid Food & Wine Tour was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. From the moment the tour began, Mario made everyone feel like old friends exploring the city together rather than tourists on a scheduled outing. His passion for Madrid, its history, and especially its food culture was contagious.
Every stop felt carefully chosen and authentic — not tourist traps, but vibrant local spots filled with incredible tapas, perfectly paired wines, and the kind of atmosphere you hope to stumble upon but rarely do on your own. The food was outstanding from start to finish, and Mario’s recommendations for wine pairings were spot on. We left every stop saying, “This is the best thing we’ve had so far,” only to top it at the next place.

Our guide was wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food and drink were excellent. The final stop was a rooftop bar. That location was a little disappointing. The view was better on the opposite side of the area (where the pool is), but we only discovered it by accident.
My friend and I took this tour our first full day in Madrid, and I’m so glad we did. Our tour guide Agustine, was very fun and engaging, was knowledgeable about the city and its food scene, and seemed to have great relationships with the restaurant management. Food and drink were plentiful, enough for a full meal when all combined. My favorite was the rooftop bar which was the final stop of the night. Highly recommend.
