Ioanna made this food tour the best one my family has ever been on. I’ve been on quite a few tours in Europe and this was by far the best. Ioanna was funny, engaging and had so much information for us on our tour. Each of the curated places really and truly had the best tasting food. The order which we got to each experience was perfect and each place held such a unique experience and taste. Ioanna went above and beyond giving us extra recommendations for the rest of our trip and we were so impressed by the entire experience.

My Eating Europe tour in Madrid was truly a wonderful experience. Not only did I get to try many different tasty Spanish treats, I got to learn a little bit about Madrid. Our tour guide, I forget her name, but she was an American living in Spain, was delightful. Definitely recommend this tour.

What a great food tour. We have gone on many food tours and quite frankly, this one was one of the best! From now on it’s Eating Europe tours! Adolfo was a very knowledgeable guide. This was the best tour in Spain we joined in this trip. Our guide, Carolyn, spoke excellent English. As she is a local, she really knows how to avoid tourists trap. You could feel she was very passionate towards food and wanted to share with people eagerly. As only 3 people joined this tour, we all could interact closely. To keep it a secret, I couldn’t tell what we had but the food and drink sure gave you surprises, I promised.

The food itself was good and well chosen, and the guide was knowledgeable. However, there were only two people on the tour, which made the experience feel a bit awkward and less social than expected. Because of that, I wouldn’t recommend this tour for solo travelers looking for a lively group atmosphere. If you’re going mainly for the food, it’s fine—but the group dynamic really matters here.

Fantastic tour with Sirca! She made us feel welcome from the get go! Fantastic food and drinks- my favorites were the stuffed mushrooms, the Vermut, the garlic Shrimp (and grandfathers wine), and the sipping chocolate,. Many of the food/wine stops were at the oldest tapas restaurants in Madrid (over 100 years old) where we were served their specialty! Sirca was phenomenal in balancing the history of Madrid, with the history of the foods we were eating, and ensuring we all in our small group got a chance to learn about each other and our guide! Highly recommend Sirca and the “Not just another”Madrid Tapas and wine tour!

Great food and experience! We not only got to eat Iberico ham, but try to carve a slice too. Enjoyes violet ice cream too, which my chochaholic hubby really enjoyed. The qine pairings rocked.
Our tour guide, Sirce, was great. So passionate about food, and gave us such good info about Madrid and its culture.

Adolfo is the best!!! Cool, calm and collected—he guided us through a busy night in Madrid swooping us into restaurants with long lines of people to prearranged bites of classic Madrid foods in beautifully brick lined alcoves underground. We discovered new favorites that we never would have tried on our own. We had a great mixed group that enjoyed great conversation, it was the perfect combination.

Such a nice way to learn about Madrid and Madrileños! Such a great selection of foods that aren’t all super “touristy”. We also got to see some great sites in the old town area so I’d recommend doing this tour as soon as you get there to cross some places off your list too. Sirca was such a great guide! Her vibe was great and it was very easy to connect with her and her love for Madrid.

Adolfo was wonderful and food was excellent. We learned the history of the food, its establishment, and more about the city itself.
