This was an amazing experience! Our guide and Chef, Diego, put together a fantastic tapas and wine tour, followed by a delicious dinner. He is very knowledgeable and explains the food and history of the restaurant at each stop. The whole event was very fun and delicious! He took us to places that not everyone may know about. And it's a great opportunity to get to know the traditional tapas and wine in Madrid. The small group experience was a plus, and the participants have a chance to talk and enjoy conversation throughout the evening. I highly recommend this tour!

Diego was the best! All the establishments were well curated and very unique. Food was amazing and the dinner at the end was the cherry on top! We had a blast. Our fave tour in Madrid so far

I arrived a few minutes late but our host (Beni, I hope I remembered that correctly) wasted no time catching me up, everything was already set up for me by the time I got there. The food and the dishes that we made were excellent I cannot even tell you which one was my favorite everything was spectacular. Chorizo, stuffed peppers, shrimp, mushrooms, a fantastic dessert! The location was also very close to the Metro which made it easy to get there. I would Def recommend this class.

Diego was WONDERFUL! We went to 4 different locations to sample a tapa and drink. He included the history of the locations (La Ferreteria from the 1800s and on the Michelin Guide), spoke of the Spanish social culture of being out, enjoying good company. He introduced me to foods I would never have thought to try, and ended the night with a beautifully curated dinner back at the cooking school. I will definitely be doing this tour again when I return to Madrid.

We had a fabulous time on this tour visiting a variety of local tapas bar, each one very different and unique from the other. Dinner at the end with all of new friends was so much fun that we didn't want the night to end!

I highly recommend this tapas/wine tour led by Diego who curated a wonderful mix of 4 uniquely different stops for tapas and wines. We met at the Cooking Club where we met our group and started with a glass of wine. We walked a neighborhood that we loved and we probably would not have noticed or appreciated, if not for tour. And the finish was a lovely dinner prepared by Diego. Loved every minute and will be recommending to others.

This is an amazing tour! You will experience local eateries, drink and eat delicious food and wine, and visit really cool bars! Our tour guide, Diego, was the best!

If you love food and want to learn more about traditional Spanish tapas—and some updated versions—this is a MUST! Even though this a walking tour, you stay in a four-block area, so it’s accessible to a wide range of participants. Especially memorable is Ferretia, a former hardware store. (While the tasting happens on the main floor, there’s an absolutely incredible restaurant and event space downstairs. You must check it out, if possible.) After posting pictures on Instagram, we learned that friends and former colleagues had done this tour previously. Everyone rated it most highly. A highlight of our time in Spain!

Amazing experience where everyone starts off as strangers and leaves as friends. We have done several tapas tours and this is the best by far.

Had a beautiful evening exploring some of Madrids local Tapas bars with my husband and another lovely couple. Diego was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and a great host. Definitely an experience I would do again and recommend.

If you love to try new wines and new foods this is the perfect tour for you. We visited four Tapas Bar and our amazing guide Diego made sure we had a different Tapa and a wine that matched in each place. The finale was a dinner with an entree followed by a dessert. Since besides our guide we were only 6 we got to have quality conversations with our fellow travelers.

Diego is amazing!! He took us to some of the most unique places to sample some of the most scrumptious tapas, wine, and vermouth. I’m certain we would never have found these places on our own. We met a friendly group of like minded travelers and enjoyed a delicious dinner, dessert, and wine in a unique setting to end our evening. This is easily the best food tour we have taken.
Talli_P, Mar 2025
Our guide, Diego, was fantastic! The food stops had great tapas matched well with wine. All were in a close walking distance. The dinner with wine was fantastic. I highly recommend this tour.

We done this tour last night as a group of 6 in total and it was an excellent night. We stopped at 4 different bars/restaurants and each one was amazing. We then had a main course on our return to the Cooking Clubhouse.
We all thoroughly enjoyed this tour, our host, Diego, was the perfect guy to lead the tour. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly.

we really enjoyed our tapas & dinner tour. Great food & Great experience. Seemed a bit overprice at first, but the food was delicious. Especially the dinner made by a local chef.

Diego was an excellent host and guide. The tour was thoughtfully planned and balanced--just enough time to enjoy the experience. The cooking school is warm and inviting and the evening dinner was perfect.

Diego was great! We enjoyed the tapas tour and the dinner. We also had a great time with the other people on the tour. There was only 5 and i liked the personal touch.

We had a fun group and really enjoyed the variety of venues that felt like true local favorites. The food was really good, but note to vegetarians to check on options in advance since they can be somewhat limited.

Diego was our guide for the evening. My sister & I had a delightful evening tasting wines & tapas. The ambience of each place was warm and inviting. We also had a great group of people to share this wonderful experience with. Thank you Diego for professionalism & caring heart.

Went solo - found this via a Google search, and lucked out with such an immediately welcoming group of individuals for the evening. Diego has a great sense of humor, incredible knowledge of the area, dishes, and food & wine in general. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
Brent_F, Nov 2024
Personable guide, Diego, and amazing locations to enjoy wonderful Spanish cuisine and wine. Especially memorable was the former hardware store turned gourmet restaurant and the exquisite Iberian hams. Great group of other guests made for a memorable evening. This is a must if visiting Madrid!
Chris_G, Oct 2024
Excellent experience. Great introduction to tapas and wonderful guide. Top notch food. Professional and courteous.
Chad_H, Oct 2024
This was a wonderful tour. The group is kept small so it was very easy to interact. The out of the way tapas restaurants were exactly what we wanted to find. Definitely not the straight tourist type places. Finally, the ending main course meal was exquisite. Great job!
Rachel_P, Oct 2024
The loveliest experience for our first time in Madrid. Diego was a wonderful host and was so knowledgeable about the different good foods and wines we tried on the tapas tour. Coming back to the cooking clubhouse to the private dining area with lights and brickwork was a magical setting for dinner. The two courses were beautifully presented, the flavours were excellent and the wine pairing was perfect.
degeigert, Oct 2024
This was an absolutely magical experience. The 4 tapas restaurants were eclectic and charming. Diego was personable and knowledgeable and also an incredible cook. The final dinner after the tour was intimate in the cellar and could not have been better. I would highly recommend this experience. It was so magical, we revisited one of the tapas restaurants again today and had a marvelous paella. Kudos to Diego…
